Trapped in Love Miss Arogan

Trapped in Love Miss Arogan
30.

Charlotte awoke as she felt the warmth of the morning sunlight hitting her face. He opened his eyes slowly and blinked several times, trying to adjust the light that made his eyes glare.

His body wriggled, trying to stretch his body on the mattress, and then got out of bed. He then walked slowly to the bathroom to get ready to go to campus.

A little while later, Charlotte came out of the bathroom wearing her different clothes. Afterwards Charlotte decides to leave her room for the dining room.

Charlotte came down the stairs, walked slowly towards the dining table. When Charlotte got there, she pulled up the chair and put herself in it.

He looked at Xander who was sitting right next to him. The young man was now sitting while focused on eating the bread in his hand.

Charlotte poured carrot juice into a glass while occasionally checking her phone, looking at the comments of people on her social media. While Xander is now busy dabbing his favorite peanut butter on a loaf of bread while humming a little.

Xander began to sense the awkwardness between them. Charlotte's not what she used to be. The girl doesn't talk much.

"Do you want peanut butter?" bargain Xander while lifting and revealing the jar of peanut butter in his hand, trying to melt the atmosphere.

Charlotte looked up and shook her head. "No! I don't eat breakfast today, drink juice!"

"Yes already!" Xander shook his shoulders indifferently and then re-applied the peanut butter on his bread. "If you don't want to, let me!"

"Where's grandfather? Why hasn't it come down?" xander asked the waiter who was pouring juice in Xander's glass.

"Great master is still in his study, sir!"

"Didn't grandpa come down for breakfast?"

"The big man"

"Why do you care?" cut Charlotte indifferently. "Grandfather just hasn't come down yet, if he wants breakfast he'll definitely go down right. Ah, don't you want to come back to the office with her, right?"

Xander looked at Charlotte. He's sure the girl must still be upset about last night.

"I'm just asking, Charlotte." said Xander.

"Whatever." Charlotte downed her juice while turning her eyes the other way.

Not long after, Mr. Romanov arrived at the dining room following Paul who was walking behind him, looking faithfully following behind.

Mr. Romanov then sat down at the table, right in front of Xander, took some fresh bread and jam setoples, and slowly applied them on the bread.

"What time did you come home last night, Xander?" ask mr. Romanov.

Xander, who was talking, turned to Charlotte briefly and turned to her grandfather.

"I don't really remember cake!" xander replied doubtfully. "After Paul called Dimitri to ask me to come home last night, I went straight home without seeing another clock."

"really?"

"Yes!" reply Xander. "Em, but maybe I get to the mansion at around nine o'clock in the evening or maybe more, cake!"

Mr. Romanov nodded and smiled.

"Dimitri called Grandpa last night. He told grandfather that you were so focused when you learned about the hotel documents last night that you even forgot the time" Mr. Romanov explained enthusiastically.

"Ah, not the cake." replied Xander awkwardly.

"Dimitri also said there were times when he called you a few times but you didn't hear him because he was too focused on the documents."

"He said that to Grandpa?" xander asked in surprise.

And after hearing Mr. Romanov's words to him just now, Xander's face immediately turned stiff.

Xander's eyes then glanced back briefly at his sister, Charlotte. The awkward atmosphere between them only got worse. He sighed softly while imagining the kind of tantrums that he would receive from the chatty girl this morning.

Just imagine, just last night he and the girl had a fight because of the sudden departure problem with the grandfather yesterday morning. There is no way this morning they have to fight again because the grandfather who returned to discuss matters of office with him in front of Charlotte like this.

Just last night, either out of luck or whatever, Xander was still able to quickly make up with the grumpy girl. And if the girl was angry again, she was sure there would be no joy coming her twice so that she could easily be forgiven again

Xander glanced back at Charlotte for the umpteenth time. He then gulped his saliva violently. He was nervous because he could now see the terrible expression of Charlotte. The look on the girl's face had turned ferocious because the grandfather who had continuously discussed office affairs with her.

And sure enough, at this time Charlotte herself had started to feel annoyed at the topic of conversation of the people in front of her, but she was just too lazy to say anything now. He just kept quiet and chose to focus on finishing his juice.

Charlotte put her glass of juice on the table and then leaned her back against the back of the chair while folding her hands in front of her chest.

Charlotte secretly glanced at Xander who was also staring at him.

"How, Xander?" ask mr. Romanov. "Are you going back to the hotel and meeting Dimitri like you were yesterday?"

Xander, who had been staring at Charlotte, turned to Mr. Romanov and smiled wryly.

"Ah, that problem.em, I'm not sure, cake!" xander replied as he continued to try to hide his nervousness.

"Why not?" Mr. Romanov looked at Xander in wonder. "Grandpa thinks you should be able to visit the hotel more often and also the main office. Yes, all to learn about management in our office. Hm, how about you come with grandpa to the office today?" bargain mr Romanov.

Xander smiled clumsyly. "Em, that-"

Xander was about to answer, but was cut off because Charlotte spoke first.

"He's young to get into the office, cake!" charlotte said quickly.

And, in the end, inevitably Charlotte had to respond to this boring conversation. He could not stand his grandfather's attitude.

Mr. Romanov looked at Charlotte.

"Even at a young age, it's better, Lottie! Count to make Xander more experienced." replied Mr. Romanov calmly, but his words sounded very sharp.

Charlotte gawked, then wasted her rough breathing.

"I think, at her age, she would rather spend time having fun with me than going to the office." Charlotte replied. "Xander is too young to lead the company!"

"Lottie, she's young to lead, but Grandpa thinks she's old enough to slowly start learning all about grandpa's job at the office."

"No!" answer Charlotte sharply. "We've talked about this before. And our covenant from the beginning was not... Xander can help grandfather in the office when he was twenty-six or at least after he graduated from college. And now we're only twenty-one years old and haven't even graduated from college!"

Charlotte looked at the grandfather with a look of regret. "Lecture isn't over yet and grandpa broke the agreement we made by taking him to the office sooner, don't joke!" continued.

"Yes, Lottie but this is for Xa-'s good"

"Can you stop this conversation?" Charlotte wrathful. He even raised his tone at the moment. "You're all starting to sound shitty now!"

Mr. Romanov shook his head. "Sound Charlotte! You should understand if-"
