Moments earlier, as soon as she arrived at the mansion's parking lot, Charlotte directly got out of the car. Charlotte quickly walked up the steps leading to the entrance to the mansion. From her current place, Charlotte could clearly see Paul and some of the other servants standing tall near the entrance, they must have welcomed her arrival.
Charlotte glanced at the clock on her wrist. "Is grandpa inside?"
"Yes miss. Mr. Romanov has arrived since noon today. He had also been waiting for the arrival of the young lady and master ever since..."
"Where is he now?"
"Mr Romanov is preparing, miss."
"Let me help you, miss." said Paul, extending his hand, to help as he watched Charlotte carry a large bag of groceries in her hand.
"Ah no need," replied Charlotte as she turned her gaze towards the car she was riding in.
"That, right there! I carry a lot of groceries in my car. You just order the other servants to bring the stuff into my room!" his orders.
"Yes!"
Paul nodded his head then turned to look at the car Charlotte was referring to just now. There Xander is still busy parking his car.
"Remember, no one is left behind!" Charlotte tried to warn him while entering the house.
Paul nodded and moved down the stairs just then he saw Xander who was now getting out of the car. Arriving near the car, Paul bowed his head respectfully to the young master.
"Young master," he said.
"Paul, are we late for dinner?" ask Xander.
"No, you came on time, young master." replied Paul smiling.
Xander glanced at Charlotte, who had entered the house, and then approached Paul, whispering.
"He's got hundreds of bags in that car!" whispered Xander while handing over the car keys which were immediately nodding back by Paul. Smiling Xander then started to step down the parking area to catch up with Charlotte.
Meanwhile, Charlotte is now walking casually into the mansion with her hands looking to carry some grocery bags. He then lifted the bag of groceries in his hand and looked at him with a satisfied face.
"Tomorrow I'll go shopping again" he murmured with a big smile.
However, upon entering the living room area, his steps slowly came to a halt as he looked at someone sitting in his living room.
Charlotte raised her eyebrows. That person, somehow he seemed familiar for a reason. Then a second later the man looked at him. And finally...
BRAKK!
Charlotte subconsciously dropped the grocery bag in her hand and made the entire luggage scatter onto the floor. The girl's smile disappeared. And not a thing on purpose because the beautiful girl is now standing frozen in place.
Justin Kim, the handsome young man is right in front of him. Really in front of him. Inside his house. But wait, how can you?
Charlotte regressed her steps. He did not seem to believe in his own eyes. Where could Justin be here? Is Charlotte hallucinating now?
Nah!
The man in front of him was Justin Kim.
For a moment, the two just kept quiet. They both look surprised. They locked each other's eyes. And unknowingly the gaze managed to make Charlotte's heart start beating abnormally.
Justin was currently staring at the girl who was standing before him with a gaze that was no less surprised. Why is Charlotte Clinton here? Justin then rounded his eyes when he realized something in his head. He looked at Charlotte with his incredulous look. Charlotte Clinton, don't tell me she's...
"You?" charlotte said to Justin standing before her, her hands raised pointing towards the young man's face. "What are you doing in my house?"
"I'm on~ huh? So I-this is really your house?" justin asked stammered.
Justin was like he had just gotten a hard blow right in his head. Charlotte said this was her home. Then the guess just now was true that Charlotte and Mr. Romanov, they must have...
Grandpa and granddaughter.
"Yes, this is my house." Charlotte nodded her head haughtily. "And didn't I first ask what you were doing in my house? Why you-"
Charlotte's words suddenly had to stop when she saw Mr. Romanov appear.
"Ah, Charlotte, have you come?" said Mr. Romanov with a smiling face. "Then you get ready, dinner will begin."
"Grandfather, what is he doing here?" charlotte asked as she pointed at Justin once again with her index finger.
Mr. Romanov turned to Charlotte who was currently staring at Justin still with a look of shock on his face.
"Oh, this is Justin" said Mr. Romanov, touching the young man's shoulder. "He's a guest who'll have dinner with us later."
Charlotte had not had time to ask back because the grandfather was back to talk again.
"Why, Lottie? Have you known each other before?!" asked the curious Mr. Romanov as he looked at the two people alternately with his confused gaze.
Charlotte was seen staring at Justin for a moment before she finally put on her face.
"Me-knowing her? Ah, of course I know him. I may not know this young man. Who wouldn't know him anyway." murmured Charlotte softly.
Mr. Romanov looked at Charlotte with a hard-to-understand look. He frowned confused, not understanding what the girl's words meant.
"What do you mean Lottie?" ask mr. Romanov.
Charlotte immediately realized her own words. It seems like he's starting to talk straight now.
"I'm..." Charlotte cleared her throat for a while, before returning to put on a haughty look.
"I mean no! I don't know him. Yeah, I've only seen it in a few places. These boys are everywhere. He's working. In the cafe, on campus too! Ah.. and now, she's in my house." Charlotte said a little awkwardly.
Charlotte really doesn't know what else to say. The contents of his head felt like empty nothing now. Only that strange sentence flashed in his brain at this moment. Yes already! What's important is that her grandfather doesn't know that Charlotte's been trying to catch Justin.
Meanwhile after hearing Charlotte's explanation, Lord Romanov simply nodded his head. According to the information he received Justin did have a lot of work, maybe that's why Charlotte could see him everywhere.
"Ah right. And didn't Justin go to college at the same college as you, Lottie."
"Yes, that's it!" charlotte said in a nonchalant tone.
"Good then, doesn't it mean that things will be better for you to start a friendship" Mr. Romanov said.
"Ah. the problem it-"
"All right! Let's just talk at the dinner table." take Mr. Romanov with a hug and pull Justin's shoulder towards the dinner table.
"And where's Xander? Why hasn't he come in yet? Hurry up you call him!" mr. Romanov's orders to Charlotte.
Mr. Romanov held onto Justin's shoulder gently leading him into the dining room until they disappeared at the end of the hall.
Charlotte hurriedly turned to step back out until she saw Xander appear.
"You? Why are you still here?" ask Xander who just entered the mansion. He stared in surprise at Charlotte and her grocery bags strewn across the floor.
Charlotte did not answer. He was silent with eyes that looked at Xander with a gaze that could not be interpreted. Next, Charlotte pulled Xander's arm roughly and dragged him walking quickly towards the exit of the mansion, leaving her shopping bags still strewn across the floor.
"Come with me, we need to talk!"
