Chapter 12: The New Student

"Why are you guys quiet? Let's say what's going on?" said Derek. Allana and Gyria looked at each other and Allana tried to smile.

"There's nothing, brother. I go in first, you guys be careful to go home."

Gyria and Leysha nodded and immediately left without even saying goodbye to Derek. Leysha wanted to leave Derek with a higher status than her despite the different pack, but Gyria held him back and immediately pulled Leysha's hand away.

"What was that?" derek asked again after Gyria and Leysha.

"There's nothing, brother."

"really? You didn't lie to Allana?"

"Of course not brother. They just saw my situation. The training was pretty heavy."

"What did they teach there?"

"much. Took away my most important strength."

"Do you feel at home there?"

"I'm fine, brother. They treat me well, too."

"Alright then" Derek said at last. "But what happened to one of your friends? He's weird."

"Any? Who's the weirdo?"

"One of your friends. He doesn't seem to like me very much."

"Gyria means sister?" Allana knew exactly who Derek meant. Because only Gyria doesn't get along with Derek.

"Gyria or whatever her name is. She's weird. What's the matter with him exactly?"

"There's no problem whatsoever. But this is weird. Why do you always fight?"

"That's what I meant. I don't know what the problem is but he always behaves like that to me. He's a freak."

"Be careful brother. I'll love it later."

"Hey... Oi... I don't like the direction you speak."

Allana laughed amusedly.

"justified? Sometimes people we hate become people we love. Love and hate are different."

"Wahh my sister is an adult. Look, now start advising me on more experience."

"Not yet."

"Sorry brother. But you have a lot of girlfriends."

"No, just a few."

"Only some is much, brother. That one's a little."

"Yes yes, what you said. Let's go home. I'd go berserk if I knew we were outside these nights." Derek pulled Allana's hand slowly. Allana lazily followed him. But suddenly Allana's steps stopped.

"Wait, what about Kathy? Brother is engaged to him, it should be on sister's mate right?"

"You're such a fuss. Let's just go." Derek pushed forcefully onto Allana's body.

"Wait a minute." Allana stopped the push from her brother and turned to face her brother. "Explain to me." Allana's ruffled waist.

"There's nothing to explain" Derek said but Allana was still silent and looking at her brother. "Oh my god Allana... All right, what do you want to know?"

"Kathy, is she really sister's fiancee?"

"Of course she's my fiancee, you see when I'm engaged to her."

"But what's Kathy mate's sister? Didn't you say that werewolf love is different from ordinary humans?"

"Ah.. That's.. Hey, what did I tell you? Let's go."

"But it-"

"Yoo.."

Derek pushed slowly on Allana's body. Allana lazily complied.

The Pack Moon Crysort

Everyone was silent where they stood. Only the sound of coughing was heard many times.

"Luna, you better rest, still-"

"I'm fine."

The Luna fixed her seat. He rested his back on the chair. The middle-aged woman in a pretty elegant nightgown, let her long blonde hair unravel.

"Tell me."

All speechless. No one even moves a little. Luna let out a sigh of annoyance.

"Are you going to be quiet like this?"

"She's a warrior, Luna."

Melissa started talking. Luna Chloe looked at Melisa.

"With him do that to Arnett. No werewolf can do that, even if he's a new wolf. That's impossible."

"Where haven't you been? We both saw Beck!"

"What did he do to Arnett?" ask one person who is wearing a long white dress. His long black hair was tied neatly up.

"It's not natural that you're a werewolf. You guys are strong."

"But it's very unnatural to push people, especially a werewolf, with such strength, height and extent, that it's still impossible unless he has special powers."

Everyone went back to silence. Luna Chloe looked at the woman in the white dress. The woman looked different from the others.

"How's Rosmary? What do you think?"

"I still don't know Chloe. I'm not a Brea-like witch. But from the traits they gave him, he was indeed the one. There's nothing wrong with trying, nothing to lose."

"Prepare the ritual."

Everything starts to get boisterous. Many of them breathed a sigh of relief. Only Beck seemed unhappy.

"Beck.."

"Yes, Luna."

"Not one bit?"

"As far as I know, nothing. I've put a spy in that pack."

"A witch?"

"Of course not. Pack is off limits to witches. No witch can enter."

"Why is that?"

"Because before Luna died, she did a spell, to protect the pack. I heard because he had a vision that his son was going to die with the pack. To prevent that from happening he did just that."

"But what does this have to do with witches?"

"Either Chloe. I don't know. No one knows how the prophecy actually is."

"But... Am I right to do that?"

"We have to find out, like it or not. And the only way right now is just by doing that ritual. I'm with the other witches gonna try to keep that kid from dying or getting hurt."

"All right, thank you. It's just, I still don't think this is true."

"Maybe because you're not sure about all this. Be calm.. Just focus on the ritual. Don't worry about anything else."

"I think I should be like that."

Luna Chloe sighed. His mind was full, thinking about everything that happened.

Allana walks casually in the school corridor. He walked to his locker. Allana stopped right in front of her locker. Allana opened the locker and began to put some books that will be studied later. He only kept the books he would be studying at this time in his backpack.

"Allen..."

A call stopped his activities. Allana turned her head and saw Gyria walking towards her.

"It looks like we were class this morning."

"really?"

"Yes. Ahh and don't forget this afternoon rehearsal again."

"Hmmm... I don't know Gyria. I don't know."

"What do you mean?"

"After what happened, what I did to Arnett, I guess-"

"Allana, that's natural. She's okay anyway."

"But I don't. I almost killed him."

Allana stared at them. Some of them smile.

"Is this wolf migration?" gyria's Comments

"Allana, can we talk?" erica Pinta.

"You can talk here, aren't we both werewolves?"

"Are you really going to be friends with him?"

"At least I'm not hiding anything from my friend."

Gyria and Erica stared at each other intently and began to growl.

"Are we going to watch the women's fight here? Justjust wonderful. I'm gonna love this school." One of the boys started talking and folded his arms around his chest.

"You two stop." Allana asked. Allana tries not to have a fight at school. "Let's talk about Erica."

Allana walked away even quite far from them all.

"Is this far enough? So they don't hear?"

"certain."

"What do you want to talk about?"

"Allana, I know I went too far with hiding about you and pretending nothing happened. Your family asked me to do it and I agreed because it was to protect you."

"protect me? From what?"

"Allana, it's not as simple as you think."

"You're still hiding something else, aren't you?" guess Allana. Erica took her breath. Yeah, there's something he's still hiding. It was just that he had sworn not to say anything until the Allana family asked him to say it.

"He has calmed down. Maybe tomorrow he can go to school. He's waiting for you at his house."

"Maybe." Renald smiled faintly, barely noticeable then walked past Allana without seeing her again. Allana just frowned.

"I didn't think you could talk to the girls." Ted came and walked side by side with Renald. "I'm proud of you Ren." Ted put his hand on Renald's shoulder.

"As far as you are." Renald seemed uninterested. "And put your hand down from my shoulder."

"Oh come. You talking to girls is a tremendous improvement."

"Akh!!! quiet down!!" Renald was starting to look upset. Renald suddenly stopped his steps. His eyes were headed for a point, the forest behind the school. He sharpened his vision. Renald growled suddenly. His face looked unhappy.

"What's wrong with you?"

"So, there's someone watching this area."

"That's natural Ren. Did you forget this is neutral territory?"

"But this is weird. Why the alphabets?"

"the alpha? Whatchu mean?" Ted sharpened his eyesight as well. He used his wolf eyes. "That's not-"

"Is it good to suspect him like that?"

"He is so."

"He's your little friend Ren."

"Not after he betrayed me nor did my family."

"Ren, everything's been proven if it's just a misunderstanding."

"Maybe both of his parents are, but not with him. Especially now he's the alpha in that pack."

"I don't take revenge on him. I'm just... Dislike it. But.. What's in this town? What's so important that their alpha came here?"

In the distance, across from where Renald was standing earlier, the boy whom Renald was staring at, was also still staring at Renald until Renald disappeared from his sight.

"Rome."

"Yes, alpha."

"Is Zykolt's pack member here?"

"real alpha. Me and some of the other members saw some of Zykolt's pack members were here."

"Do they have any business here?"

"I don't know alpha. Didn't you ban us from dealing with Zykolt's pack?"

"That's right. But he's here too."

"Him?"

"The son of a bitch."

"Ahhhhh... Alpha Renald's. Did ya? I don't see it."

"Have forgotten the outcast. We're back to our problems. Where are our spies? I don't want my trip here to be in vain. It's a waste of my time."

"Bring them here!"

Four people approached.

"It's Joy, the spy for the Crysort pack and this is Cole, the spy for the Hysort pack."

"What do you guys get?"

"I heard, Allana and alpha Dwaine had a one-on-one fight and alpha Dwaine recognized the power of Allana and that Allana was the warrior" Cole explained.

"I watched the alpha myself, Allana violently slammed one of the strongest gamma from the Crysort pack to near death. And Luna pack Crysort is about to hold a ritual." this time Joy is the one talking.

"The "ritual? What ritual?"

"The ritual to build the Crysort pack again and it involves Allana. I'm still figuring out what the ritual looks like."

"Stay find out. Until I can."

"Good alpha."

Everyone started to leave. Only Arthur and Rome remain.

"Alpha, is it possible that Zykort's pack is here because of Allana?" ask Rome. Arthur was silent for a moment.

"Is that possible? But it doesn't matter if he's here because of Allana. She's my mate. So even if they want it, they'll never get it."

"But alpha Renald is your alpha pal."

"former friends. He's not my best friend anymore. I don't care about him and I'll never give up."

Arthur looked at the school again. He knows Renald is a threat to him if indeed Renald is also eyeing Allana.
