Chapter 23: Welcome to Crysort, Your Majesty

Allana stood contemplating on the balcony of her room. Damian's words rang like music in his ears, constantly repeating. Battle to the death.

"should? Yeah, maybe I'm a coward or a pessimist or.. I don't know. I really don't want to do any of that. Did I just give up and become human again? I don't know why there is a side of me that refuses. I may be the strongest warrior but I'm not yet strong, I'm not as strong as they think I am. But now I have to die."

Allana's mind is still filled with thoughts about how she will be. He doesn't know how to.

Suddenly Allana's eyes stared at the small orange-colored light flying around her. One by one the little lights came and stopped right near Allana. Around Allana there is now a lot of light, like fireflies. The lights were flying around Allana. Allana stared in amazement but she finally came to her senses and wondered where all these little lights came from. Allana noticed the light coming. From the bottom.

Allana turned her head down and found Jim standing there. Jim looked at Allana and smiled then waved his hand. Allana smiled back and returned Jim's hand.

The lights still emerged from Jim's hands and flew towards Allana, until it finally stopped. Jim smiled and walked away.

"Jim!"

Will is running after Jim.

"So.. We're back in Disprea now?" ask Will.

"Yes, our job is done. We have another job."

"Then Allana?"

"There's Livia and Lily."

"Aahhhhhhhhhh... The two girls."

"They were witches who were indeed placed in Lykort. So let them handle it."

"Are you not sad?"

Jim stopped his steps and looked at Will in wonder. "sad? Why should I be sad?"

"Because Allana. Because you have to part with Allana."

"How did you sleep?"

"Yuduk Luna." Allana replied lying. He had trouble sleeping last night. He was still thinking about the fight.

"Good morning Allana. Are you ready?"

"Good morning, your honor. Sure." Sure."

"good. Ryan, call the others."

"Good alpha."

"Does anyone come along besides you and Ian's beta?" ask Allana.

"Sure, Ryan and some gamma will come along."

"Are they in school too?"

Kei laughed a little. "No, some have already graduated from school. They're coming because I need them."

Allana nodded in understanding. Some people entered the throne room.

"Are you ready?"

Those people nodded for sure.

"This journey can be very dangerous. I want you to be alert."

"Oh, your honor!"

"And where's the gamma?"

"Ian and Jake are bringing her here."

"Hey, hey.. You're not going without breakfast, are you?" protest of Kei's mother.

"Of course not ma'am."

"Good, I'll get everything ready." Kei's mother left.

"Alpha, we won't make it in time."

"Just calm. I won't NAG today because I know you're going to travel far. But I'm worried about her." Kei's mother pointed at Allana. "Mom knows, ever since she lived here, she didn't eat right. Therefore, mother wants him to eat first. Well." Kei's mother looked at Allana. "Come, baby, let's have breakfast."

"L-yes.. Well Luna." Allana walked slowly towards Kei's mother.

"And for you, I don't care if you eat or not."

Kei's mother threw away her face then walked over while holding Allana's hand.

"Mom, what about me?" ask Kei. Kei's mother stopped and looked over.

"Hm... I don't seem to know you." said Kei Cuek's mother and went to the dining room. Kei stared in disbelief.

"God.. What the fuck?"

"Hmmm... Swahahahahaha." Jason's laughter exploded. "Wahhh alpha.. You're not considered anymore."

"Be quiet! Huft mom is terrible if pissed."

"Had known your mother was like that, it still pissed her off." said Ian, who had just arrived.

"Well! Mother's too sensitive."

"Yes, sure. It's like you."

"Yes, yeah, yeah.. I'm a shitty descendant."

"Father is not included." said Kei's father who casually walked past them.

"But come on, my father!" the Kei protests are fast. "God sucks a lot." Kei snorted in annoyance. " Let's eat. Before I was actually fired as a child."

Kei, Allana along with beta and three gamma people are at the border of the pack. They were still waiting for two more people to take Gyria.

"Sorry, but.. Why should we take Gyria?"

"Because I need it. He should have come along anyway."

"Alpha."

The two men who brought Gyria came with Gyria. Allana was surprised to see Gyria's condition.

"Gy-Gyria? What's wrong with her?" Allana's coming to Gyria. "You guys really tortured him."

Gyria's face and body were bruised and covered with blood. His body was limp, barely even able to stand.

"We have to do it."

"Should?!"

"We're not going to CivilHill All. We're going to the Crysort pack."

"Can alpha."

They form a circle and hold hands.

"Somehow I feel uncomfortable at a time like this." lamented Jason.

"Be quiet Jason."

"Are you going to keep babbling or are we going to leave soon."

Jason snorted in annoyance and did not speak anymore.

"Delegate!!"

They floated for a moment and then landed back in seconds. They were back in the woods, some distance away from the Crysort pack.

Livia's looking for Lily's whereabouts.

"Where's Lily?"

"Don't know. He should be here, as agreed. Where the hell is he?"

There was a voice behind the bush. Everyone is on standby. Lily's out of the bush.

"Jeez Lily.. You surprised us."

"Sorry."

"Where from?"

"From exploring."

"Explorer?"

"Yes, find out around. I just found out if-"

"Are you crazy? Traveling in a foreign country? What if something happens?!" Jason screeching. Everyone looked at Jason.

"That's my business, not yours."

"Of course it's my business!"

"Why is that your business?!"

"That's because you-" Jason stopped his words. He just realized he's starting to over react.

"Come on, go on." - Kimpal Kian. They started smiling meaningfully.

"I'm just saying, this is a foreign area. I'm saying this because she's a girl."

"Then, what if she's a girl? She's a great knirer witch."

"It's a girl." Jason was nervous and misbehaved. She still reluctantly admits that Lily is her mate. Kei and Ian could only shake their heads.

"What did you find?" ask Livia.

"Nonsense."

"Any? Why?"

"Their protector. Pack it. Crysort. Their protector... Different Livia. I don't know what spells they use. I've been looking for the spell they used, the result is nil."

"Is it possible for black people?"

"No Ian. Black people have the same basic magic, only a few different and special ones. We know black magic. Because it is taught and as Knirers we must know. But that protector, it has nothing to do with that particular magic or the blacks."

Kei fell silent then looked at Ian for a moment.

"Good."

"One more" Lily said again. Everyone looked back at him. "It's all fake."

Lily stood up soon. Lily is famous for her skill at concocting magic potions while Livia, over spells and fights.

Everyone nodded for sure. Lily blew the potion she made. All of a sudden everything around him was like burning up, even the ground and grass they were burning. Some people were even surprised and avoided. After Lily explained that it would not hurt them, they remained silent in their place.

Now before them were no longer green trees, grass, wet earth or shrubs but an arid land of dead trees. There's nothing green in there. They could see native plants and trees very far away. But there was one that was only a kilometer away, right in front of them.

"That's their pack."

"Are the trees there real?"

"certain. This is the only fake."

Instantly everything turned green again, like nothing happened.

"What the fuck was that?"

"That was the real one. It's all.." Lily pointed around. "... It's all fake."

"But.. Why would they do that?"

"I don't know Kei."

"Allana, Gyria. Do you guys know?"

Allana nodded for sure, so did Gyria. They looked as surprised as the others.

"I don't know what else they're hiding, but we have to be careful."

"Good alpha."

Kei stepped forward near the Crysort pack. But just a few steps, Kei stopped coming back.

"Ahh yes, Allana, you don't need to come."

"What's? But why?"

"Because they'll be suspicious. I'm sure Gyria was sent because they thought it was because Gyria was your friend. So they thought we were going to let Gyria in easily and to convince Gyria that it was on their side. We purposely made it this way, as if you and Gyria were no longer friends, to convince them that Gyria was siding with them, to keep Gyria and her parents safe from them. They will be increasingly convinced that Gyria is indeed not on their side. We even tricked the spies in their pack who were in Lykort's pack, that you were currently in CivilHill on vacation. So you can't be seen by them." Kei explained. Allana took a deep breath and then nodded.

"Alright." answered Allana at last.

"good. Kian and Moles will take care of you and take you to safety." Kei looked at Kian and Moles. "I trust him to you both."

"Good alpha."

"good. The others follow me. Let's go."

They again walked for a kilometer to reach the border pack. Livia touches the protectors of the Crysort pack when they get there, as only witches can see her.

Before long two women approached them from inside the pack.

"Who are you and what do you want?"

Kei came closer and changed the color of his eyes to a deep red for a moment and then turned back to pale white. The two women were shocked and looked at each other.

"I am the king of Lycanthrope, Kei Lyroso Laros. I want to meet your lunamu."

"But.but.."

"Didn't Lunamu say I was coming? Didn't she have the Phyrtia witch by her side."

"Tell him quickly, your Majesty wants to meet! Don't let your majesty wait!" ian half yelled.

They started to leave.

"God, why did they leave without opening this protector first?"

"They have to make sure that he's really Kei, Ryan." Ian explained.

"Don't the alpha have changed his eyeballs?"

"That's not enough. They should be absolutely certain. After what they've been through all this time, I think it's only natural that they're so careful."

"Livia, don't they know I'm coming?" ask Kei.

"I don't think so."

"Didn't they have a Phyrtia witch? A witch who can predict and see the future?"

"That's right. But not all. Sometimes their vision is not perfect, sometimes random. Besides, I'm sure they won't see anything from you."

Livia replied, The two guards had returned in a hurry and opened the protective pack and let Kei in.

"Only the noble and the betas, the other men, should not enter" said one of the guards.

"Are you crazy?! We're the king's bodyguards!" protest Mike.

"Sorry it's the rules of our pack."

"Is there no waivers or exceptions? We're here to protect the king." Jake asked.

"Sorry, but nothing."

"It's okay Jake." Kei. "Jaga is outside. Tell me if anything happens."

"Okay, your honor." Jake looked down obediently.

"Allana Jaga. Don't let them know where he is." said Kei through his mindlink. Jake nodded slowly. Kei enters with Ian and Ryan who have Gyria, along with Lily and Livia.

"But.. But... Alpha.. Your honor..."

"Stop Jason. Alpha has given the order."

"What if something happens to her?"

"Nothing will happen Jason. Alphas are too strong to be defeated by their luna, even a pack. Besides, there's something we need to do, right?"

"But there's Moles and Kian."

"Can't you not argue this once? Sometimes I'm sick of your objections." The upset Mike went straight away.

"What did you say?!"

"Hey, hey, stop. Don't fight here."

"But Jake, he made me angry first."

"Just leave him. Come on, let's go. We'll find a seat and rest."

Jake pushes Jason's body slowly away from the border pack.

From a distance, Luna Chole stood up, preparing to welcome Kei.

"Are you sure he's the king?" ask luna Chloe.

"Yakin. That was him. Our spies made sure."

"What's he here for? Is it because of Gyria?"

"Most likely luna."

Luna Chloe was silent again. He was still wondering why Kei had come to his pack and for what. Soon Kei and the others arrived. Luna Chloe was surprised to see Gyria being carried by Ian. He was surprised to see Gyria's condition but quickly changed his expression to flat again. What he was astonished at was the absence of Allana in their entourage.

"Welcome to your highness." welcome luna Chloe while bowing respectfully. "Welcome to my pack. I have Chloe, luna from this pack."

"Thank you luna."

"Let's go in, will I jamu with tea maybe? Or coffee and food. You must be hungry because of a long journey."

"Not far. We use witches, just like you."

"Ahh.so.."

"I apologize for my sudden arrival. I didn't come here to be suave, but to get an answer, why did you send him into Lykort."

Ian placed Gyria in front of Kei roughly. He did it on purpose, to make it look convincing. Luna Chloe looked at Gyria with her teeth.

"Where did he know Allana was in Lykort's pack?"

"That's... I don't know. But looking at his current state of concern, I think you've already got your answer."

"I won't lose to him."

"Are you beginning to look for my faults?"

"Maybe, maybe not. I'm just looking for a noble answer. As you do now in my pack."

"He chose to come along and I was willing to accommodate and teach him."

"Ahhh.you are so kind."

"I don't know what's the matter between you guys but if I see you hurting her again, I won't stay silent."

"Ohh.. Don't say you like him and defend him now."

"He's a werewolf, I'm the king of all alphas. You're the luna who was supposed to protect her but hurt her. That's what I'm gonna prevent."

"Then what about us, this pack? As you said earlier, you are the king of all alphas. I'm a luna and they're werewolves, shouldn't you be protecting us too? We've been slandered into a cursed pack, shunned, alienated, for over hundreds of years. We stayed and kept on defending. Survive and survive abuse, insults and attacks. Then what will you do for us? You're willing to defend one little boy, but can't defend us?!"

Kei fell silent. This time Chloe's words left her unable to say anything more.
