Chapter 7: I'm Not Belong To Anyone

Allana sat quietly in the school cafeteria. She went to school very early this morning. Even before everyone woke up and sat in his class in silence. Allana has been quiet all day in class. Some of his friends reprimanded him but he only smiled a little.

"Allana I have to talk to you." Erica suddenly came and sat down before Allana. Allana gave a rough sigh and stood up and left, but Erica held her hand.

"Allana.. I beg. You need to hear my explanation."

"It's Erica, I don't want to hear anything." Allana took off Erica's hand and turned back and walked away from Erica. But just a few steps away, he turned to face Erica back. "Do you know what really happened to Hope? Or does Hope actually know about me and you?"

"Hope doesn't know about you or me or anything like us, but yeah, I know what happened to Hope."

Allana looked at Erica in disbelief. Erica makes him look stupid by pretending not to know and making him lie about stupid things. Allana turned around and went away from Erica. Erica did not prevent him anymore because she knew Allana was being very angry at him.

"What does that mean? Ye? Allana's? Your kind?" asked Marco who was standing next to Erica. "Wait.. Allana knows about us? I mean Us? What're we?!"

"Ah, let's go Marco."

Erica walks out of the canteen followed by Marco while Allana goes towards the field. He's there some kids are practicing rugby. Allana sat in one of the audience seats, staring at the players in silence.

"Allana." call someone. Allana.

"Hi Kim." said Allana lazily.

Kimberly sat next to Allana in a beautiful manner. He wore his cheerleaders uniform in white yellow and brown. His brown hair was tied up. Kimberly is the most popular girl in her school. She's beautiful, rich, nice and the boys love her.

"Sitting quietly by yourself won't make you popular."

"Kim, I don't want to be popular."

"Oh come on Allana. You're beautiful and you know it. There are a lot of boys who like you. Like you so much. Even from SD."

Allana just smiled and looked down.

"You changed Allana. Since entering Junior High, you changed and became friends with the two strange people. We used to be good friends."

"Yeah that's right. That was before you ruined everything Kim."

"Oh come on Allana. It happened a long time ago. We could be friends back. This is how I put you in my Cheers and we go together to this weekend's Haloween party, how? Consider this my apology."

"I'm not interested in Kim."

"Oh come on, All.."

"Sim..!!" some of Kim's friends were already on the field to train. Kim turned towards the voice and waved.

"Anyway's.. My offer still stands. I gotta go. Consider it..."

Kim ran away leaving Allana who could only sigh. Allana looked back at the rugby players who were training.

"It looks like you're pretty popular for a very dumb-ass person." said someone who's been sitting right there. Allana looked over and was surprised. He's the guy that Allana hit yesterday.

"I'm not popular" Allana said, turning her face away.

"Friendship with Kimberly Harper was already popular.

"I've never seen you around here. I think you're the new kid."

"Well.. Such is. My name is Ben." Ben stretched out his hand. Allana smiled slightly but did not welcome Ben's hand.

"Well Ben's... New kid and already know who Kimberly Harper is, that's amazing."

Ben laughs.

"I've been introduced to which of my friends I should avoid. And I also know who the popular girl is."

Allana laughs.

"You have a good informant."

"Looks. And you're Allana Layford, smart and beautiful."

"Whoa... It seems you have crossed the line sir."

Allana and Ben laughed. Allana suddenly stopped her laughter. His eyes caught someone at the end of the field who was also staring at him, Gyria.

"I-I have to go." Allana suddenly stood up.

"Where are you going?" Ben stood up.

"See you later, Ben." Allana runs away leaving Ben still confused.

Allana came to Gyria. Gyria finds out that Allana is approaching her and walks slowly towards the forest behind the school. Allana continued to follow where Gyria went all the way to the middle of the forest. He didn't see Gyria anymore. He searched the surroundings, but did not find them.

"Your instinct is very bad for a warrior like you." said Gyria and then jumped down from the top of the tree right in front of Allana. Allana's surprised. "Allana Hallo.."

"What are you doing here?"

"I went to school here, remember?".

"But they must know who you are."

"Just calm down." said one other person, Leysha. "The city is neutral territory. So anyone can stay here. Even that fucking bloodsucker. As long as you don't do troublemaking."

"Pengs... Bloodsuck?"

"Yes.. Vampirish. Wait for... You don't know vampires?"

"So you mean.. Vampires are real too?"

"of course. Vampires, witches and even fairies. Have they not told you anything yet?"

"Only about werewolves, pack, alpha, beta, gamma, o... Ms...omega? Yeah, omega.."

"Yup and you are warriors."

"Warriors? Tell me, everyone."

"But the problem... Are you gonna believe it? Moreover, your family is not a family that likes our pack, even though your mother came from our previous pack."

Gyria opened her t-shirt and showed a crescent-shaped burn mark and a star. Gyria closed her shirt again. "But having your mother must be different because to get out of the pack we have our own ritual."

"Then who am I?"

"Your mother is the previous beta. The friend from our beta who fought with you yesterday. But your mother was the beta of the previous Luna, not the current luna. Luna was dead. Therefore, your mother is free to come out of the pack and you, you are proof of an ancient prophecy from our pack."

"ancient prediction? What prophecy?"

"There is a prophecy that says, when the pack collapses, when the pack splits, when the pack has no hope anymore, there will come a warrior who has the same strength as alpha and beta and reunite the pack again. Packs have been destroyed for years, our members have tried to survive for years even in small and weak groups, but we remain divided. For example, your mother."

"So your pack blames my mom?"

"I'm just making it an example because the one that came out wasn't just your mother. There's a lot more. That can be understood, because our pack is weak. There's no point taking cover in our pack."

He will train you well, in his way. Or maybe you're more interested in being trained by your brother or your family?"

Gyria and Leysha left.

"Remember! South of the city. If you can't use wolf senses, wear a compass or whatever. See you tomorrow, Allana."

Gyria turns into a wolf as does Leysha. Allana sighed. He doesn't know how to. He was still not sure who he should trust.

Allana pov's

I went into the house. I saw all my family gathering in the living room with some people I didn't know. Everyone was silent as soon as they saw me enter. I just stared at them for a moment, with my disinterest, then walked back to my room until my mother finally called out to me.

"Allen... Come here for a second. Someone wants to see you."

"Allana's not interested ma'am." I said lazily and then stepped back.

"Allana.. Mother please. Just a minute."

I breathed a rough breath. I really don't want to talk about werewolves or anything to do with it. I'm getting sick of all that. I turned around and walked closer.

"Look at him, you are so arrogant." Alice began to comment. I don't care at all about his cynical comments.

"Allana introduce, this is alpha Dwaine, alpha of our pack. And here's a bet, just like your brother, beta Gary."

I watched the man I was introduced to, whose name was Alpha Dwaine. He looks older than my brother Derek but looks younger than my father. He sat down and smiled. Then my eyes went to Gary, beta. So then... They got two betas? Or maybe more? I don't know, I don't care. This whole thing is driving me crazy.

"Allana, the alpha came here specifically to meet you" said my father.

"Why is that? Doesn't holding the alpha office mean honorable people? Why would you want to meet me who just became this werewolf?"

"Allen... Don't act like that."

"It's okay. Hi Allana it's nice to meet you."

The alpha stood up and extended his hand to me. I just looked at him.

"Allana.." mom started reprimanding me. I snorted in annoyance and welcomed his hand.

"I've heard a lot about you."

"Including who I really am? Ahh yes, or maybe you came here because of that? That I might be that warrior, who's in the prophecy?" my guess.

"Where do you know that?" I saw my mother look surprised.

"It doesn't matter where Allana knows from but for sure Allana's fed up with all this mom. So Allana please... Stop the. Don't force Allana again. Allana needs time."

"Whatever they say about you and about the prophecy, don't easily believe in them Allana. They-"

"It's all for your own good, Allana, to protect you."

"Protect Allana from what mom?! From prophecy? Of them? Or what? Allana's fed up with all this!"

"And I'm sick of this family drama!" Alice raised her voice. He walked towards me. "I'm sick of all your protests, complaints and promises. You werewolf? Accept it, learn it and get used to it! Stop complaining like a spoiled child!!"

"Alice..."

"No ma'am! He must understand. You are! Enough with all the drama you did. Alpha's here and willing to put you in his pack. You should be grateful or at least know yourself to be grateful."

"I never asked to be accepted." I growled.

"Then what do you want to be? Alone without a pack? So rogue? Werewolves should have packs, Allana. If not, you will be a rogue. You know rogue, right? Who attacked you and killed everyone in the forest. You will be a murderer!!"

"I'm not going to be like that!"

"Only a pack-less werewolf will become a rogue and you will become one of them!!"

"Alice, stop."

I looked at Alice. I was so angry and upset. I could only keep staring at him.

"Allana.. Dear... Everything can be well talked about."

My mother persuaded me but I didn't care. I ran out of the room and went to the back of my house. I run in no direction. I want to let go of all my anger. Why don't they understand one bit? I just want time, time to understand all this. Why do they keep pushing me and making it to protect me and my kindness as an excuse.

"It's really messed up." Allana's mom snorted in annoyance.

"Why are you talking?" Derek started accusing Alice.

"Oh come. Don't blame me. I'm just telling you the truth!"

"Have not quarreled. We'd better find your sister." Allana's father got up from his seat along with Dwaine's alpha.

"We're looking together" said alpha Dwaine.

"No need for alpha. Let us seek. You just wait here."

"No. I'm going to come along. I have something to make sure of him."

Alpha Dwaine is leaving. Allana's family just looked at each other in silence.

Allana stopped running. He walked slowly through the forest. His mind was so full, he felt claustrophobic. Allana was sitting on a tree trunk. He who initially hated entering the forest behind his house, now no longer cared about his fear. He just wants to be alone from all the pressure.

"Alice's right.. I can't keep avoiding. I have to think."

Allana closed her eyes and adjusted her breathing to calm down.

Allana heard a noise from a distance. He opened his eyes and looked alert. He's getting used to his super hearing.

The sound is getting closer. Approaching quickly. Allana standing. He saw his surroundings. From a distance he saw some trees swaying. Allana walked backwards.

"W-what's that? R-Rogue?"

Before long the branches stopped swaying. Henin g now. But Allana did not immediately calm down. He was still worried even though he was not panicking anymore.

Bukk!

One big wolf landed right in front of Allana. Allana was surprised and shouted. Allana. He looked at the wolf with wide eyes. The wolf had grey hair mixed with white and its eyes were red.

Allana immediately stood up and kept her distance from the wolf.

"Who are you?!" peekik Allana's. The wolf just growled and looked angry. Allana's getting scared.

They showed up one by one his family. Dad, mom, Derek even Alice. His father wanted to get close to Allana but alpha wolf Dwaine growled furiously. Prohibited it. Allana's father could only back down.

Alpha wolf Dwaine looked back at Allana. He was growling louder than before. Slowly the alpha wolf Dwaine walked up to Allana. Allana panic.

"Well what are you?" Allana walked backwards.

"Allen... Transform yourself!" sahut Crane. Allana was silent. "Allana!! Transform yourself or you'll die!"

"W-how are we?!"

"Do as I told you. Command your body to change. Hurry Allana!!"

"Concentration darling... You can do it." his mother added.

Allana's breath is fast. He was nervous and panicked. He did not want to change but the wolf in front of him was already getting angrier and looked like it was going to attack him soon. Suddenly the alpha wolf Dwaine swung one of its front legs. Allana swiftly dodged. Then run away.

"Allana you have to change!"

"Is the alpha really going to attack Allana?" ask Derek his mother.

"Yes mom. He's going to attack Allana and we're banned from helping him"

"But Allana still can't change freely. He still has to learn!"

Allana's mother started to panic but she couldn't do anything. The alpha command cannot be challenged. Allana closed her eyes and regulated her breathing.

"Can, I can change. I can."

Allana did exactly what her sister had instructed her. Alpha wolf Dwaine is approaching. Allana's body is getting hot. Sound of bone fractures. Allana shouted out loudly. Soon Allana turns into a typical white-haired wolf. Her eyes are beautiful brown. Allana comes to alpha Dwaine slowly.

'What do you really want from me?'

'Just want to make sure of something'

Alpha Dwaine ran towards Allana and lunged at her. Their bodies destroyed two trees at once. They rolled and separated. Alpha Dwaine immediately stood back up and attacked Allana again. He bit Allana's shoulder. Allana groans in pain. He's trying to get away. Allana is painstakingly detached from Dwaine's alpha bite, but Dwaine's alpha doesn't just let go of Allana. He attacked Allana again. Allana had dodged but with alphabetic sprightly Dwaine moved his legs and kicked the body of Allana who was near his feet. Allana. His body hit the tree. Allana struggled to stand up. He growled furiously. His eyes turned white.

"Allana could die if she keeps going like this. Alpha Dwaine's biting Allana. Allana's gonna be weak soon."

"Let's just relax, Allana will be fine. Trust in alpha Dwaine."

"Derek, the alpha bite is lethal to us!"

"Calm mom. Alpha Dwaine knows what he's doing."

Alpha Dwaine is back on Allana. He raised his claws. Allana tried to avoid but still many times exposed to alpha scratches Dwaine. Allana's body is now full of wounds. Allana stood up with great difficulty.

'What... What are you.... Wants... From me..."

'Bend down to me, obey me and be loyal to me. I am your alphabou.'

'I... will not submit.. obey... be loyal to anyone!'

'Alice is right Allana. You must have a pack. Your family is part of my pack, then automatically you are also part of my pack and I am your alphabu.'

'You are not my alphabets and I... I don't have alpha.'

'Don't be stubborn Allana.'

'I don't care! Stay away from me.'

'I won't stay away until I'm done confirming something.'

Alpha Dwaine is attacking again. He jumped towards Allana. Allana dodged quickly. His feet were limping as a result of being knocked down and hitting a tree branch. Allana never attacked back. All he did was avoid.

Allana could not escape anymore. Alpha Dwaine attacked him violently. Allana was hit by a scratch, kick and crashed hard. Allana tried to stand up but her body was weak, plus the alpha poison from the bite from the alpha Dwaine, making her even weaker. His eyes turned brown again. Alpha Dwaine stared at Allana sharply. Allana tried, with all her might to get up. He was still limping but he finally got up. Alpha Dwaine walked slowly closer to Allana. Allana retreated, she was afraid that alpha Dwaine would attack her again. Alpha Dwaine stared at Allana and growled. He raised his body, trying to dominate. Dwaine's alpha growling sound is getting louder and louder. His pack members who heard would be frightened and submit to him. But not for Allana. Allana painstakingly stood up straight and snarled furiously. He did not want to obey and submit. To him he was a free wolf. Allana's growl was getting louder and rougher. His eyeballs turned white again and he prepared to receive another attack.

Shortly alpha Dwaine fell silent. He looked at Allana with a different look. Not an angry look or wanting to attack again. Alpha Dwaine steps back from Allana. Allana was still growling and on standby even though she saw a different gaze from alpha Dwaine. But before long Allana's body collapsed. She's limp.

"No.. Allana.." Allana's mother started to panic.

Alpha Dwaine comes to Allana's wolf body. Allana who saw alpha Dwaine began to growl again with the rest of her strength and tried to get up.

'No need to get up. I will not attack again. Everything is confirmed. I'll help remove the poison from my bite'

Allana kept growling. Alpha Dwaine licks his bite wound on Allana's wolf body because only alpha saliva can cure the poison from an alpha bite wound.

'We still need to practice a lot but you are a warrior. That's what I made sure of. Fight, you can do it.'

Alpha Dwaine took a few steps back from Allana and turned himself back into a human. Gary gives the outfit to alpha Dwaine.

"How's my brother alpha?"

"He's a good Derek and he's a warrior. If he were an ordinary werewolf, he wouldn't have been able to last long from my attack earlier. But Allana, he can hold on. But unfortunately he's not a member of my pack. He didn't bow when I dominated him earlier. So now it's up to Allana. If he wants to join, I will gladly accept him. But if not, he should have a good pack and be able to train it properly, because for the size of the new werewolf, he is very strong. If he's trained properly, he'll be a great warrior. Let's go home Gary."

Alpha Dwaine steps away with beta Gary and some of the omega he's carrying.

"Derek go first ma'am. Better take care of Allana. Derek's coming back soon."

Derek goes after alpha Dwaine, as well as Alice and some of her friends who have just arrived. Allana's mother and father immediately approached Allana and covered the body of Allana who had become human in makeshift clothes.

"Even alpha Dwaine has confirmed that Allana is the warrior" muttered Allana's mother.

"Maybe it's true. There was no other way but to accept that Allana was indeed the warrior who had predicted it."

"But... But what if they claim that Allana is a member of their pack, Crysort's pack moon."

"We'll see you later, baby. Alpha Dwaine has proven that Allana is not a member of his pack. So we'll see later, whether Allana will bow to Luna from Crysort's pack moon or not."

"If that's the case, I don't have a problem. Asal Allana has a pack. Crysort packs are not bad packs, they are powerful packs only they have binding rules. But it's better than having no pack at all. But what if Allana also did not submit to Luna?"

Allana's father raised Allana's limp body. He could still hear the talk of his mother and father earlier even though it was not so clear. He doesn't care anymore. All he thought about was one. He wants to leave immediately. Go that far away from all this. It felt like all the burdens were given to him without pause. Makes him want to run away and stay away. Allana's vision began to darken. He's not hearing anything. Allana was unconscious.
