Chapter 22: Fight to the Death

Allana was still walking back and forth in her room. He still feels unsettled. He's still thinking about Renald and his pack. Are they safe and how they are.

There was a knock in his room. Allana opened the door, Jim was there.

"Can I come in?"

"certain."

Jim stepped into the room. Allana shut the door.

"Sit down." Allana bargained.

"no need. I'm sorry I know it's rude to go to a girl's room but I'm just gonna tell you something. Later tonight the Elders will come."

"The elder? A witch?"

"Yes, the top of the white people."

"Like the alpha in the werewolves."

"May say so. But there's still the highest."

"really?"

"Yes, the chosen one."

"Is he that strong?"

"Very. He can destroy a people if he wants."

"Have you ever met him?"

"He's a witch and lives in Disprea, of course I've been. But we're not going to discuss that. The elder will come later tonight and inform him of their findings."

Jim stepped out of the room but upon opening the door, his steps came to a halt.

"Why is he here?"

"Okay, I don't know. But from what Kei said, someone told him to."

Jim closed the door and left. Gyria's here! But how did he know I was here? Wait, the attack! Does he know about that?

In Allana's head there were already many questions that she couldn't answer. Allana let out a rough sigh and laid her body on the bed.

The sound of knocking on the door was heard from one room.

"Get in." said one person in the room. One woman came in and bowed respectfully.

"Hows it? Any word from Gyria?"

"Not yet luna. Gyria was held by them."

"You sure you're arrested?" Melissa suspects.

"Related beta. According to our spy in Lykort's pack, he's in lockup in a dungeon."

Luna Chloe frowned.

"Why is that kid in brackets? Aren't Allana and Gyria best friends?"

"Luna, is it possible that they'll torture her?"

"Maybe. I don't know."

"Let's just Beck. That's his sacrifice for Pack."

"He's just Melisa's kids!"

Allana stood still. In a large room, there were already a few people. Only a few that Allana knew in the room. Kei was already sitting on his throne. They were still waiting for the guards who were going to take Gyria.

Soon a few guards came. Two guards took Gyria and placed her in the middle of the room. Gyria sat on her legs with two guards on either side.

Allana gave a rough breath. He still did not think, how Gyria knew about his whereabouts here and also how the Crysort pack knew. On one hand Allana still believes in Gyria, for some reason. On the other hand, he was still trying to get rid of his thoughts about Gyria which might, secretly, spy on her and inform Chloe's luna.

"Say, who you really are." Ian started talking. Everyone stared at Gyria. Gyria raised her head. He looked around.

"Did the guards torture you so you couldn't say anything?"

"Sa-my.. I'm..." Gyria swallowed his saliva. He tried to calm himself. "My name is Gyria. I'm gamma from Crysort's pack moon."

"Pack what?"

"Crysort?"

"Gosh, is that right? I thought the pack was extinct."

"I think so too."

One room started to get boisterous.

"Quiet down! Please calm!!"

"I told you, Dad, it's enough of us. Why bother inviting them?" kei whispered to his father who was also sitting next to him. Kei sighed harshly.

"They're entitled to follow Kei, they-"

Gyria was getting nervous.

"Do you know who I am?" ask Kei. Gyria looked at Kei for a moment then lowered her head.

"Do you know where this is?"

"The Pack moon Lykort. Pack where you come from."

"And you still dare to come in here. Why?"

"I... I'm..." Gyria came back nervous and was getting bowed.

"What's your purpose here?"

"Waiting a friend."

"Friends?"

"Y-yes, your honor."

"Who?"

Gyria looked at Allana who was standing some distance away to her right.

"Allana."

Everyone looked at Allana.

"Allana is your friend?" reset Ian.

"Yes beta. He's the reason I'm here."

"How did you know he was here?" asked Ian again, making Gyria bow again.

"I... I'm..."

"Did anyone tell you?"

"I... No. gabe.. I'm.."

Gyria is back. He could not finish his words. Kei noticed it from earlier. Something strange he thinks.

"Dan, did you notice?" ask Kei through their alpha beta mindlink.

"Yes Kei. He's always flattered when it comes to him here."

"Yes. Try asking again."

"Good Kei. I'll try."

"Why didn't you answer?! How do you know she's here while knowing only members of the royal family!"

Ian looked at Gyria. She's surprised. What Kei said was true. When Gyria started to get nervous, she always looked back a little. Ian looked at the people standing at the back.

"Hey, Allana! Wanna-" Jim ran.

"Allana?"

"I want to ask, why-"

"Come, come with me." Ryan immediately walked towards the exit of the room regardless of Allana's words.

"Later to speak. Just follow me."

Ryan walked even faster down the corridor after corridor, leaving Allana and Jim overwhelmed to follow him. Before long Allana and Jim lost track of Ryan.

"Gosh, where is he? Why is he walking so fast?" Jim rattled his black hair.

Allana's hand was pulled. Allana was surprised and almost shouted. Ryan quickly covered Allana's mouth with his hand and stuck the index finger of his other hand into her mouth. Ryan pulled back Jim who was still standing and closed the door.

Allana looked around. What was supposed to be a wall, now turned into a secret passage.

"This is a secret passage?" ask Jim.

"so. Let's go." Ryan walked back. Allana soon followed.

"But why are we here?"

"For no one can follow us."

"Some one is following?"

"We think there is. There's a traitor in this pack."

"Who??"

"It is not certain. We're still figuring it out."

Allana holds Ryan's arm, stopping Ryan from walking.

"Where are we going?" Allana looked at Ryan with confusion in her eyes. "My friends will be tortured and now I don't know where to take them."

"You'll know Allana soon, once we get there. Come on, the sooner the better." Ryan walked back. Allana just sighed harshly. Jim pushed Allana's body slowly to walk again. Want to not, Allana walked back.

Ryan opened one door as they reached the end of the hall. The light that was bright enough dazzled the eyes.

"Come in." Ryan. Allana looked at Ryan for a moment then immediately went inside.

Allana was shocked. The room was quite spacious, with a pure white color. There were quite large crystal lamps hanging on the ceiling of the room, several chairs on the sides near the walls and also one long table made of wood that was placed in the middle of the room.

"Come here." pinta Kei. Allana complied and walked over.

"Allen!"

Gyria shouted Allana's name. Allana turned her head and found Gyria standing at the end of the room with two guards. Allana was quite surprised by that. He thought Gyria was already in a dungeon and was being tortured.

"G-gyria? B-how can?"

"We're not taking him to Allana's basement anymore." said Ian.

"Then... What the hell's going on? I don't understand."

"Sit down."

Allana was still standing in her place. He was trying to digest what happened.

"What are you thinking? Let's sit down."

"So is Gyria your prisoner?"
