"Is there a problem?" Bian looked at Allana. Allana shakes.
"Nothing."
"You can ask, we still have time before the ritual."
"What does that mean? Aren't we going to do the ritual now?"
"No. The ritual will be performed when the sun will rise."
"Why is that? What ritual is that?"
"The ritual must be completed to coincide with the sun. It cannot be before or after. That's the rule."
"What... It hurt?"
Bian watched Allana for a moment then walked over to her.
"I'll be honest with you. Yeah, it's gonna hurt."
Allana looked at Bian. Seen seriousness on Bian's face. Allana was sure Bian wasn't joking.
"If I could help, I would gladly help without you having to do this. But I'm sorry, because I can't help. L'm... In time, I can't help anyone. After all, it must be you who killed the luna, not anyone else."
"Why are you helping me now? By performing this ritual?"
"You know what temple this is?"
"MoonGoddess's."
"really. To the werewolves MoonGoddess was their god. They adore him for the MoonGoddess that created them. Well, that's not entirely true. MoonGoddess did create a werewolf through spells and curses, but she was not a god, but a witch, chosen, just like me. Then the man made a temple. A place where extremely powerful supernatural items were located. Look around you."
Allana looked around. There are many things floating in the air and protected.
"These things are very powerful. That's why all this stuff has to be kept here. The place that has the strongest guard in the world. These things are also specially protected by special spells."
Bian walked towards one thing. A book. Bian touched the thing, as if there was no spell to protect it. Bian opened the book and placed it on the stone table.
"So... If the chosen one made this temple.. Only the chosen can enter."
"Yes, but I can't get in as long as I want. Because the spell here will drain my power and my strength."
"Then why can I? I came in here with one of my friends and he got hurt while I was fine."
"When Maria made this place, she also made werewolves who could withstand this spell because they were made from the fragments of the spell. They were strong, their strength was on par with alpha but the difference was that they should not leave this place. Even if they were to come out, they should have a purpose related to this place and should return as soon as it was finished, otherwise they would instantly be destroyed, not left out. And about you Allana, you are indeed not from the splinter spell here but you have the power of alpha and beta equivalents, even you are stronger than all the warriors here. If you're possessed by a pack, they'll abuse your power."
"That's impossible."
"Allana, if you have entered into a pack, you must swear allegiance to the pack, which means you must obey the words of anyone who is your alphabets. Except..."
"Except?"
"Unless you're the pack leader."
"W-what... No. gabe.. Not likely. I can't be a leader."
"Maybe, if you want. Your choice is to become a leader or join here."
Allana. Growing his mind. He took a long breath.
"Don't think too much. It can still be thought of later."
Bian returned to the book in front of him leaving Allana speechless.
Meanwhile outside...
"Are you sure Allana got in here?" ask Kei.
"Yakin your honor. He followed the warriors in."
"How's this? Are we in?"
"No way, no one can go inside."
"That's right. L'm.. I almost died earlier."
"How did you survive?"
"Allana brought me out of the temple territory."
"And now he's inside. Is he not going to die? Mike said he almost died when he went inside."
"I don't think so. When he and I went inside, it was okay. He doesn't feel anything. He's fine."
"really?"
"I'll call the guards. We should check it out."
Kei walked closer to the boundary of the temple territory. He stared at the few warriors standing guard not far from there. One of the warriors saw Kei and approached. The warrior bowed respectfully.
"Your majesty."
"What's wrong? What the hell's going on? Where's Allana?"
"Allana is in the temple, with a witch."
"Witch? Who?"
"Sorry your majesty but I can't tell you."
"Why can't it?"
"At the request of the witch."
Kei frowned. "Why is it so secret?"
"Livia." call Kei. "Is there any notice from the Elder about who will perform the ritual on Allana?"
"Elder didn't say anything."
"Absolutely?"
"I got the same information you got."
"Why is this so weird and secret?"
"So how's Kei?" ask Ian.
"I'm going in."
"No, no... You heard for yourself what Mike said, no one can get in."
"Is that true?" Kei looked at the warrior who was still standing in front of him. "I'm king of Lycanthrope, I have no exceptions?"
"Sure you have it."
Kei surprised. "I.. Can you come in, right?"
"May, but not in a long time."
"Then I'll go in."
"Hey, hey, wait a minute." stop Ian. "At least you should think about it first or, talk about it to us."
"There's no time. Allana's been there long enough."
Kei stepped inside the temple territory.
"Kei-Bas stubborn." Ian snorted in annoyance.
Kei walked quickly towards the temple. But strangely as soon as he reached the stairs, he could not climb. Like someone was holding him back. Kei kept trying but the results were nil.
"What's this about? Why can't I go upstairs?! Allana!!!"
"The witch won't let you ride. No one's allowed except Allana."
"What's? But why?"
"I just obeyed the order of the temple owner, I have no right to ask."
"Owner?"
Kei tried to remember what Bian said about the temple.
"As I recall, this temple belongs to MoonGoddess. To the witch, the chosen one, Mary. But Mary is no more. He's already dead. Mean... Bian?"
Kei looked at the mouth of the goa. He stopped trying to go upstairs.
******
"I... Hearing voices..."
"Don't listen to any sound from outside."
"But my name-"
"You need to concentrate Allana."
"How can I concentrate."
Allana runs towards the mouth of the cave. He saw Kei standing below.
"That's Kei.." he muttered. Allana went back inside.
"Outside there's Kei, let him in."
"No one gets in here."
"What?"
"I don't want to be disturbed by anyone."
"But he's nobody! He's Kei, king of Lycanthrope."
"I know."
"Then why can't he come in?"
"I told you, I don't want to be disturbed."
Allana looked at Bian in wonder. I don't know why he was suspicious.
"Time is almost here. Are you ready?"
"No, I'm not ready." said Allana steady. Bian looked at Allana with a confused look. "I want Kei, to be here."
Bian sighed. "I told you, I don't want to be disturbed." Bian gave his serious look.
"What's the matter exactly? What ritual is this?"
"I've-"
"No. The truth. Tell me the truth."
Bian. He didn't answer. Just stared at Allana in silence.
Allana smiled cynically. "justified? You lied to me. Who are you and what do you want?! Is this one of Chloe's luna tricks?!"
Bian was silent. Allana grunts annoyed.
"Why not answer? Am I right? Huh! You never give up!" Allana stepped away.
Bian swung his hand, making an invisible shield. Allana's surprised. He tried to break through the shield, but could not. The shield is flexible like rubber, but very strong. It was like being inside a big bubble. Bian waved his hand again. A white glowing rope appeared and tied Allana's body. Allana's surprised.
"What are you doing?!"
"Brains you from leaving. It is time for a ritual. Come here." said Bian who was standing in front of the stone table.
"No! I won't do the ritual until Kei is here. Release me!!"
"That's not gonna happen."
"Then kill me! Isn't that what you want?"
"You died did solve the problem. Luna's dead, the pack's dead, so are you. But are you sure you're gonna do that? Are you so pessimistic about what happened?"
Allana. He didn't answer. He doesn't know what to say. Yes, he is pessimistic. The problems that befell him one after another did indeed make him become discouraged. He did not choose to become a werewolf let alone a warrior who was said to have Alpha and beta equivalent powers, which he could not even use. He was so weak, unlike what was in the prophecy.
"I know you don't believe me but I just want to help you, at least... With the rest of my strength."
"Sisa's... Power?"
"I shouldn't be able to do great magic for a while but I'll do it for you."
"Why is that? Why would you do that for me?"
"Because we're similar. I see myself in you. I don't know if I'm a witch, especially if I'm the chosen one. Never even thought of me. The things that I thought were only in a fantasy story, a fairy tale and a movie, were real in front of me. I also almost gave up and was desperate. Many want me dead. Moreover, I must not die because if I die, I will raise up someone who should not be able to rise. I must also control my power so great." Bian looked at his right palm." And now, I have to control everything else in my body. It's like all the trouble doesn't stop coming at me."
"What... You all right?"
Bian looked at Allana. "No, but I have to. When I first had my powers, there was someone who always told me. Feel your power, get used to it and control it. And all that only you can do. When all is done, you will be able to use it easily."
"Speaking is easy, but it's hard."
"I know, I've felt it. And now, I want you to feel that power."
"I don't even have it anymore!"
"But you can remember the taste. The taste of when you still have it."
"I... I don't know."
"Have you ever accidentally made a mistake using your power? Or maybe, hurting someone else using your power?"
Allana remembers Arnett. Yes, he remembered accidentally hurting her. He even thought he killed Arnett. With Allana silent, Bian knew his guess was right.
"Then. Feel again. Feel the power when you hurt that person."
"But why?"
"That's one of the conditions of this ritual."
"I've been trying to forget it all this time. That was a mistake."
"I know it's unintentional, but you have to feel it Allana."
"I... I'm..."
Bian stepped where Allana was standing and held Allana's head with his right hand. Allana shouted out loudly. Even his screams were heard to Kei's ears.
"W-What's that?"
"Ritual, it has begun the glorious."
"But why is he yelling like that?"
The warrior did not answer. Kei wanted to get close but he knew he wouldn't be able to.
"Lep-relax... Untie..."
Bian stepped back, providing some distance between him and Allana. Bian spread his hand. He closed his eyes and then cast a spell.
"Hehayes, Hehayes akhta
Dukh althera shefi hehayes
Kiezha Khiezha ethaute - hestias"
Bian continued to cast spells. Out of his hand came a bright white light regarding Allana. Allana shouted back. As the light dissipated, Allana fell lying on the ground, as did Bian. Bian. Out of his mouth came blood.
"Uhukis... Uhuk..."
Allana started moving slowly and started to sit down. He tried to breathe slowly. Allana looked at Bian and was surprised. Bian's eyeballs turned pale white, the same as him as he turned into a warrior. The white color in Bian's hair, which was originally only half, now almost covered his entire hair.
Bian tried to stand up. He realized Allana was watching him. He turned his body and closed his eyes. Bian tried to calm himself so that his eyeballs returned to normal.
After being calm, Bian turned his body and untied Allana's body just by swinging his hand.
"Go, the ritual is over."
"Then... What the hell happened to me?"
"Every werewolf has one wolf soul. That luna took most of the wolf's soul from you so you couldn't turn into a wolf. Your serigalam senses are not working. I made the rest of the wolf's soul that you had rise up. It may not be as strong and powerful as when the whole wolf's soul is yours, but you can train it to fight the luna and restore your entire serigalam soul."
"What's just killing him?"
"If your serigalam soul that is in the luna has not been fused with it, you can recapture it with a spell and the ability of the rest of the soul that exists in you today without having to kill it. But if the soul has fused, you must kill it."
"So... You're gonna help me again?"
Bian smiled little. "No, I can't help you, but maybe someone will help you."
"Who?"
"You'll find out later. Now leave. Hide yourself from the luna while training your skills. And one more. In this world, there is only one pack that is free from witches. Take cover in that pack. I'm sure you'll be safe."
"Where's the pack? Lykort?"
"Lykort has a witch, Livia and Lily. Even some Knirers are guarding that pack."
"Knirer?"
"In the werewolf pack, the knights are called warriors. While in the whites, we call it Knirer."
Allana nodded in understanding. "Then where's the pack?"
Bian smiled back. "You know the leader."
Bian's reply further frowned Allana.
"A-i-i-"
"Don't pessimist Allana. Work and hard work will help you. There are still many people around you who will help and encourage you. Believe in yourself, that you can."
"I'll try."
"good. It's time for you to fight and it's time for you to actually become a warrior, as you've been destined for."
Bian's words were a little encouraging for Allana. Allana nodded.
"My message, don't underestimate yourself and your strength. Believe in yourself and your strength. If you believe and believe, then they will help you."
"Thank you."
"Go away. They've been waiting for you."
"What about you?"
"I can go my own way. Just relax."
"But... Are you all right?"
"Did I not look good?"
"So I saw your eyeballs change. Then.. Then.. You look very pale now. Your hair. I'm sure the white color in your hair isn't that much."
Bian was silent for a moment and smiled. "I'm doing fine. Go."
Bian tried to show an expression if he was okay, so that Allana would not be worried and leave immediately. Allana nodded slowly but somehow her heart hesitated if Bian was okay. There was something strange and different from the first time he saw Bian.
Bian swung his hand, opening the invisible shield.
"Goodbye, Allana. Good luck."
Allana nodded. "You too. Ahhe.. Sorry I was so disrespectful all this time. You too."
Bian just smiled. Allana walks out of goa. Outside he saw Kei who had been waiting for him. Allana's coming downstairs.
"Allen... Ohh thank goodness.. Are you all right?"
Allana nodded. "I am good, your majesty."
"Thank God. Then.. Where is the witch?"
"Bian said, he will go his own way. Well, I guess teleportation."
"Then you said?"
"Hm.. Bians. Do you know him?"
"Very well know him. I thought of him as my own brother. But why didn't he greet me?" mummy Kei.
"He's weird too."
"Any?"
"He asked me to hide in a pack untouched by witches and he said, I know the pack leader. But I really didn't know about the pack."
"Pack who was not touched by the witch? You mean... Packs that witches can't get into?"
"I think so."
"Then there's only one."
"Yes, said Bian there is also only one in the world. Do you know where it is?"
"Sure, pack Zykort. And Bian's right, too, you know the alpha of the pack."
"really?"
"Yes. He was the one who helped you back then, Renald."
"Renald?!"
******
...Zykolt Pack ...
Renald ran around his pack. He patrolled with some of his pack members. Although he could get his soldiers and subordinates to patrol, but Renald would not be satisfied if it was not him who was patrolling by himself. It became his habit from childhood.
Renald encircles all its borders. The Renald region was covered by quite heavy snow but did not interfere with their patrol activities at all.
Renald's run suddenly stopped. There was a thick fog that suddenly appeared and grew thicker. Renald can't even see anything. Renald changed his eyeball to his alpha eyeball, which was bright red, in order to see clearly. But still, his visibility was limited.
"Tied! Where are you?"
Renald mindlink Ted, Beta. There was no response from Ted.
"Gosh, where is he? Is she not going to leave me?"
Renald growled in annoyance. He tried to walk back. Suddenly the fog began to diminish and more and more disappeared. Now Renald's vision is clear. Renald was surprised to find a woman standing in front of him. Renald growled loudly and violently.
"Calm down, I'm coming in peace." the woman tried to calm down. The woman did not even feel afraid of Renald in the slightest.
"He's a witch."
"You're right. I'm a witch."
"D-he.. He could hear the voice in my mind in the form of a wolf? Wh-how could it?!"
"Ohh, of course I can. My ancestors created you and I are direct descendants of him, so... I can hear your voice even in the form of a wolf."
Renald turned himself into a human. "Who are you?"
Bian walked over but quickly Renald stopped him.
"Stop! Don't come any closer!!"
"I'm not going to hurt you."
"How can I believe that while you can easily fit into my pack that no witch should be able to enter?"
"Maybe because I'm not a witch."
"What does that mean?"
"I'm here to ask for your help."
"Ba-help?"
"Yes, to protect someone. He won't come unless you take him. Well, at least that's what I thought."
"What's? Wait, protect someone? Wh who? And why should I take her? Take where?"
"Take to stay, practice and take temporary shelter in this pack."
"What?! You're fucking crazy! You come here, ask me to give you shelter, practice and shelter in my pack, to people I don't know? Is it not wrong?! I don't even know you!"
"You know him."
Renald is confused.
"And I'm sure you'll help her."
"I-i"
"Allana. He's the one."
"Allana?! Wait, where do you know him?"
"Huf.. Are you going to keep asking me questions?"
"I asked.. In order to.. All clear."
"It's very inconvenient." Bian sighed. "Do you know what allana's problem is?"
"Of course I know."
"Then it's good. I don't need to explain everything. Allana has to hide here because here is the only place that witches can't enter. Pack Crysort has quite a lot of witches. They are free witches, which means they have no ties to the whites or the blacks. They move on their own, so it's hard for us to control it. Allana must be avoided from them because that's your pack in need. At least until the whites overcame the witches. We'll figure out a way to deal with it. So before that, Allana should be here. Since witches won't be able to interrupt your pack, thanks to your mother and her spell."
"Don't take her."
"But it's true. If it wasn't for your mother, your pack might be just like any other pack."
"Are we going to keep talking about it?"
"About your mother? Of course not. But.. Did you agree to help Allana?"
"Sure, I'll do what I can."
"Good."
"But who are you really? You said this pack was safe from witches, then why did you get in?"
"I told you, I'm different from other witches."
"Gipz!!"
"Gipz!!"
"Your forces are looking for you, go. And get Allana."
"All right."
"Take good care of her and give us time to overcome the witch pack Crysort."
"I'll do what I can."
Renald went away from the woman and went to her pack.
"Hows it? Does he agree?" ask one more woman who had been watching them from afar.
"Surely he agreed."
"You're right, this pack is really uncomfortable. Even though you've cast a spell for me, you still can't."
"Because this protective spell pack is very powerful. Renald's mother gave all her magic power to this pack."
"Yes, and now his mother became a human being. Witch but can't do magic anymore? It must be heavy."
"of course. Let's go."
"But Bian, are you sure this place is safe? It may not be entered by witches but it could be if another witch casts a spell to remove this spell."
"They won't be able to remove this spell. No, if they don't know who Renald's mate is."
"Wait, what does this have to do with mate?"
"Gina, you know that big and powerful magic has consequences. And the consequence of magic here is the mate of Renald. Renald will not know who his mate is nor his mate, who will not know if Renald is his mate. Not even feeling the presence of mate. This pack will remain safe if Renald does not know the mate. The magic here and in Renald's body will cover it."
"God... It's so sorry."
"You know what's the most tragic thing?"
"What's that?"
"Renald will try to protect his mate without knowing him, is his mate and will never know until this spell is pulled back."
"Allana?!"
"Hm... Allana."
"And Allana won't feel Renald is her mate?"
"Hm... Never will."
"I'm sure Renald would hate his mother even more if he knew this."
Bian just shut up. Yes, all have consequences that must be accepted.
