Chapter 36: Crysort, again?!

Renald said goodbye to the warriors. Renald knew that the warriors were worried about Allana. But she was determined that the witch had come to her and told her about Allana. He has to save her. Renald was so shocked when he found out about Allana and her problem with Chloe's luna. But if he and his pack can help, he'll take that chance. Of course because he is concerned. Moreover, he likes Allana even though he knows Allana is not the material.

"You sure about this?"

"What else?"

"Of course about bringing Allana into our pack."

"Of course sure. Don't talk about it anymore. I will not change my decision. You know it's Ted."

"But this girl will be safe in the temple, Ren and you know it well."

"No, I don't know. The proof is that he was badly injured like this. That means he's not safe."

"But you heard the word of the temple warrior. They were attacked by rogue because the rogue wanted to take the water from the temple's springs. There is no personal relationship with Allana. That's an accident."

"I don't care. Allana has been seriously injured and I will take her to the pack, like it or not. Let's run again. Allana outside the temple would make it dangerous."

"Are we being followed?"

"I don't know but for sure. Pack Crysort has a witch on its side, which means Allana's most likely on the track."

"Yeah, the witches. They're hard to guess."

"Therefore let's run, as fast as we can."

Renald and Ted ran back. They run faster than they first run, Renald has a bad feeling or maybe just his feeling, I don't know he knows. Since she had the magic abilities of her mother even though she had never used or studied them, she had greater sensitivity and she knew, her premonition was never wrong.

...The Pack Moon Crysort...

"Luna! Moon!" one person hurriedly approached luna Chloe who was concentrating on using her magic.

"Can't you be more calm? Luna is practicing!" sahut Melisa ketus.

"I-I'm sorry beta. But. witches.the witches"

"Jeez speak clearly!!" Melissa was starting to get impatient.

"Calm Melisa." said Beck who finally mediated. "Say what's clearly there."

"Well beta. The witches, they. they found Allana."

"really?! Moon.."

"I heard it. Call the witch."

"Ba-good luna."

The girl looked down obediently and left. He soon returned with three witches.

"Luna. I brought the witch."

 "You can go." the girl left immediately. "You found him?"

"True luna" said one of the witches.

"Where?"

"Luna.. remember the word-"

"Not now Beck."

"But luna-"

"Strong."

"Yes luna."

"Go immediately to where the witches say and go after him."

"Good luna."

Melisa came out of the room with the three witches.

"Let's just calm Beck. I won't dirty my hands. Not time. I'll just scare her." said Luna and immediately did her magic again. Beck shuts him down. She is confused as to what really happened and why Allana was able to get out of the temple, the place that should be the safest for her.

"We rest first." said Ted. Breath hunting. They had run long and far enough. The wolf's body began to walk slowly and then finally sat down.

"No Ted, don't stop.We have to get to the pack area immediately. That's where we're safe."

"I'm tired Ren. We cannot force. We need a break."

Renald breathed. He knew Ted was right. They had been running without a drink break. They need a break or they won't get to the pack. Renald sat by the tree. Allana's body was still tied to her back. The warriors helped bind Allana's body.

"Drink this river water." said Ted. Renald got up slowly and drank the river water. Ted also drank it and wet his wolf face. They are still in the form of wolves. They deliberately do not turn into humans to be ready to run back.

Suddenly Renald was silent. "Ted, I hear a voice."

"A sound? what sounds?"

"Human. We have to go."

Renald and Ted are leaving. But too late, two ordinary humans saw that they were even across the shallow river. Renald and Ted were stunned while the human was already screaming in surprise. Even one of them was sitting tight.

"We must leave before another human comes." Renald ran past the man followed by Ted.

"Why should we be afraid of them? we are stronger!"

"It's not a big deal, Ted. We are forbidden to show ourselves in a suprantural form, remember? that's what's always been taught. After all they now had advanced weapons. Our people could be flattened to the ground if they get hit by that weapon."

"Damn!!"

Ted and Renald ran but their steps came to a halt when they heard howls. They look at each other.

"What...is this the territory of a pack?" ask Renald.

"Let's Ren, I. I don't know."

"We'd better go and-" Renald did not continue his words after finding three wolves in front of him. The three wolves were furious. "We don't mean to disturb. We just happened to pass by."

Renald does not know if they entered the territory of a pack or not. From the look on the faces of the three wolves, he knew they were in trouble. No one said a word from the three wolves. They just stared and growled in anger. Soon more came.

"Jeez... How's this Ren?" Ted started to panic. Renald just kept watching them. "We're from Zykolt's pack, I'm with my alphabets. You can call your alpha fortu-"

"wait. They're not from the pack here." Renald said in a special alpha and beta mindlink.

"What do you mean?"

"They're all women."

"So you mean them..."

"really. The Crysort pack moon."

"Damn! what do we do?"

"Are you tired of Ted?"

"Well, a little."

"Then we fight."

"I'll keep your back."

Renald jumped, attacking one of the wolves. He no longer waited for the wolves to attack. He knows exactly who they are. Allegedly right. He was sure they had put a tracker on Allana and Allana had been safe at the temple because the temple was untraceable. But now Allana's outside the temple with him. 

Renald managed to take down one wolf and headed for another. His status as alpha was quite favorable to him. Other than he was stronger, his bite was deadly to the wolves below him.

Darr!!

Suddenly there were gunshots repeatedly heard. All the wolves fighting stopped instantly. They saw a group of people carrying weapons of various types. 

"Damn! why are these humans here?" Renald was shocked by the courage of those ordinary humans. One of the Crysort's wolves starts attacking the humans. Renald wanted to stop him but it was too late.  I heard another shot. Renald thought the common man was wounded because the body of the Crysort wolf had been on it, but Renald was wrong. The wolf was helpless. The wolf looked weak and dying. All the wolves retreated slowly, so did Ted.

"We have to go Ren."

"What a man is..."

"They're hunters. The werewolf hunter to be exact. They have wolfsbane in their guns. We could die. Let's run!!" Ted starts to run but Renald is still silent to see the Crysort wolf trying to fight the humans. "Ren, what are you doing? it's our fineness."

"They're going to die."

"Then? let them be as long as we're not dead. Remember Allana. We have to save him."

"But I won't let them."

"No! Renald!! oh, my..." 

Ted soon catches up with Renald and cuts his way. Ted snarled at Renald.

"Now is not the time for you to care and be concerned, but for our salvation."

"They're just Ted's subordinates."

"And not your subordinate. Renald, I know I'm just you but I won't let you die or get hurt, so Renald, for goodness sake, we have to move!"

Renald was silent for a moment then he finally turned around and left. Ted's right. If he tries to fight those hunters, Ted or Allana will get hurt. He chose to close his eyes.

They ran back without a hitch in front of him. The hunters and wolves of Crysort were no one to chase them. They also avoid running into other packs. Now just a little more until the pack until they finally restrained again. This time the wolves got in the way again.

"What are you guys doing here?" ask Renald.

"I heard you brought Allana from the temple" said the wolf.

"That's right."

"How is he doing?"

"I don't know. But I still am

hearing her heartbeat, normal but she was unconscious the whole trip. How did you get here before us?"

"We have witches." The wolf showed an ordinary human figure standing among the wolves.

"All right, it's dark now. We better get into the pack. I invite you in and rest."

Renald stepped away first followed by Ted.

"You know them?" ask Ted with alpha beta mindlink.

"Did you forget? they're Allana's brother and friend. I think they're worried about Allana too."

Renald got into the pack but before walking any further, he stopped.

"You can all come in, except the witch."

"Why can't he come in?" derek asked confused.

"This pack is specially protected from witches. If he stays in, he'll die. Not because of me and my pack but because of that protection."

"All right, I'll tell you."

Derek turned into a human and walked up to Rodney.

"Sorry Rod, you can't get in."

"What's? But why?"

"This pack is different from other packs. This pack is protected by magic."

"That's good, isn't it? I'm a witch, I can get in."

"Can't Rod, magic here is different. I can't explain it, which is clear if you go in, you die."

"Dead?"

"Dead."

"All right, I'll go." Rodney said at last. He was actually curious about what happened. But he wanted to save himself.

"You can teleport yourself, right?"

"certain. At least that's magic I can do well."

"good. Go and thank you for delivering us."

"Of course, don't hesitate."

"Send my regards to alpha Zach."

"i will's. Y'all careful. I don't know if I feel.. Not good.."

"We'll be careful. See you Rod."

Rod nodded and waved his hand then immediately disappeared from there.

Renald, Ted and all the wolves enter the pack territory of Moon Zykolt.

"Whoah this pack... This pack is visible ... Different." said Erica whispered to Gyria while running through the forest with the others. Along the way to Renald's house, Erica continued muttering in amazement.

Before long they reached a house, not a house, a castle. The castle looks quite old. But not like the castle in Lykort. The castle looks smaller.

Some people came out from inside the castle, carrying some clothes. Renald sat down and removed Allana from his back, helped by some of the men. Some people brought Allana into the castle. Renald changed himself and wrapped his body with a towel that had been provided. One by one they turn themselves into human beings. Wearing clothes provided. Renald has ordered some people to prepare everything.

"You must be hungry and tired. We are preparing your rooms, you can wait in the living room. Soon the food will be ready." Renald said.

"No need to bother alpha. We can sleep in the training room or in the barn though. No need to bother."

"I don't feel bothered. You're my guests I should've entertained you. After all the training room for training, what if the wolves want to train while you live there and the warehouse is full of stuff and dust. Not the right place to stay. Come inside." Renald went into the castle. Derek and the others followed them.

"God Renald... Thank goodness you're okay."

"Bi good arsenal."

"You're making auntie surprised to death!" aunt Agatha hit Renald's arm.

"Akhc... What is bi for? It hurts so much."

"I told you not to touch the flower and you dared to touch it! You made auntie deploy your entire army to look for you!!"

"Renald doesn't remember aunty ever saying that. Do you remember Ted?" ask Renald to Ted. Ted just shrugged his shoulders. Aunt Agatha let out a long sigh then smiled then looked at Derek and his members.

"You're very welcome here. Consider it your own home. The food is ready, the maids will take you to the dining room."

"Ah thank you madam.." said Derek clumsy.

"If I may, I will bring these two wolves." aunt Agatha patted Ted and Renald on the shoulder.

"Where are you taking it? Renald is hungry bi." Renald's protest was greeted by Ted's nod. Aunt Agatha was still smiling sweetly and then suddenly pulled the ears of Renald and Ted with all her might. Renald and Ted shouted loudly.

"Aaaaahhhhh bi sick!!"

Aunt Agatha pulled Renald and Ted's ears as she walked inside. Renald and Ted follow Aunt Agatha. Beny tried to stop Agatha's aunt but it seemed that Agatha's aunt was already very angry.

"Ahhh sorry about that. Please.. You can eat soon. Don't wait for Renald and Ted, they'll be long. Be sure."

Derek smiled clumsily and nodded then headed towards the dining room.

Allana POVs

'Allana... "

"Allen..."

"Allana help me..."

"Allana I beg .."

"I beg you...."

My breath was held for a moment. I opened my eyes and looked around. I was in a room. I finally breathed. The warriors finally brought me back. I bow my head. Wait for. I sat down and looked around. This... This is not my room in the temple. This room is bigger and better. Then where is this? Why did I get here? Is this a dream? I pinched my hand. Be ill. This isn't a dream. Then where is this?

I moved and began to sit by the bed, trying to get up. But my head hurts. Feels exhausted on the side of a big rock. But I have to be strong. I need to know where this is.

I remember! Roque. Yeah, they. They attacked the temple. I tried to stop the black wolf that I believed to be that leader. I was attacked then... Then don't remember anymore. 

I stood up, a bit hovering but I tried to stand up straight. My feet hurt as I tried to walk. I don't care about my pain. I need to know where this is.

I looked at the window and started walking towards the window of the room. There was a thin, white curtain covering the window. I opened the curtain and looked out the window. Outside was just a spacious courtyard and some neatly arranged plants. It looks like an important person's house. Wait, it's like a castle in Lykort. Did I go back to the Lykort pack? but the atmosphere looks different. I could see from the house where I was, there were houses there. It looks pretty far. But there's nothing I know or know.

I turned around and looked at the door and walked back to the door and turned the knob. I opened the door and peeked out. There's no one. Yup!! at least I should get out of here. I don't care where this is. What matters is that I have to get out. I opened the door wide and started to step outside. There was no one along the way. But... Where should I go? why is this house so big?

I've been walking for how long. I think it's been a while since my leg started hurting. I stopped to pat my feet that were starting to hurt. But I heard the sound of steps. I straightened my body, looked around, looking for a place to hide. But there's nothing. No room or closet or anything. I finally stood straight and stiff. 

Two middle-aged women walked in front of me while speaking a language I did not recognize. The two women looked at me and smiled and nodded respectfully at me. I nodded awkwardly. Huh?? they're not scared, screaming or anything? am I not a stranger? I don't think I've ever been here, so why do they look so ordinary? I walked back in a confused feeling. Sometimes I meet people, but they're the same. Just smile and nod. What's up with them?

After a long walk I saw a door leading out, thank god, at last. It felt like I was jumping up and down but I held it in. I gotta get out of here first. I quickly stepped out.

"Miss?" a voice shocked me and stopped my steps. I turned around slowly and found a girl standing looking at me confused.

"Y-yy-yeah?"

"Are you better?" ask the girl. I'm speechless. He knows I'm hurt. Does everyone here know that they're not scared or even holding me back because I'm a stranger? but how? . "Miss? are you okay?"

"Huh?? ahh I'm good." I saw the girl looking at me with a worried look. "I'm fine."

"You sure?"

"Sure, look. I'm good." I said convincingly. I saw the girl nod and felt relieved.

"Thank God. Alpha told us to take care of you and take care of you. Thank goodness you're okay. "

An alpha? alpha who?

"Uhmm... If you may know... Which pack am I on?"

"Pack moon Zykolt miss."

"Pack... Zykolt?" wait if this Zykolt pack means their alpha is...

"Finally, you wake up, too, Allana." said a voice. I looked for the direction of the voice and found a man my age standing not far from me and smiling sweetly. That smile! I know that smile! The sweetest smile I've ever seen in my entire life.

"Renald?"

My heart rate is starting to get irregular. My breath began to stumble. What's wrong with me all of a sudden?
