Chapter 15: Ritual

The witches cast spells. Beck and Melisa have put Allana in the middle of the witches. Allana was still unconscious. Gyria runs towards Allana but some people catch her.

"Allana!! What did you do to him!"

"Calm Gyria. It's just a ritual."

"The "ritual? He was unconscious!"

Melisa walks over to Gyria and slaps her.

"Be polite! You're in front of luna."

"But... No, this is not true. Beta Beck's..."

"Enough Gyria!"

Gyria did not speak anymore but was still trying to break away. Allana moved her body slowly. He tried to open his eyes. Allana's surprised. He was already in the midst of the people surrounding him.

The people surrounding him were still reading something that Allana did not understand. Amidst the crowd, Allana saw Gyria.

Gyria closed her eyes, adjusted her breathing and tried to concentrate. Gyria opened her eyes. His eyes had already turned into a bright blue color. Gyria tried to fight again. He slammed one person holding his hand and then slammed the other. Some people tried to fight Gyria. Gyria can fight them. Gyria is one of the gamma that can fight even if not in the form of a wolf. Gyria is about to get close to Allana but suddenly beta Beck blocks her. Gyria growled violently. Beck turned himself into a wolf and turned growling.

'Stop Gyria'

'No beta. They hurt Allana.'

Gyria growling. He knew if he didn't step aside he had to fight Beck, a beta he respected. But Gyria felt this was not true. A call stopped him. Gyria looks for the direction of the sound and finds beta Melisa with her mother and sister.

Gyria growled violently and disliked.

This time the one who shouted was not only Allana but luna as well. Luna was already on her knees and was still closing her eyes while Allana was already looking very limp. The witches untied the ribbon. Luna returned to her seat while Allana was lying limp with her face facing Gyria. Allana opened her eyes. Although faint, he saw Gyria. Allana raised one hand, trying to get Gyria's attention.

"Gyria.. L'm.. I'm begging... Help me..."

The sunlight that entered her room forced Allana to open her eyes. Allana opened her eyes slowly, trying to familiarize her eyes with the light. Allana looked around. He remembered he was still in the Crysort pack. Allana sat down slowly and held her head.

Allana massaged her head slowly and then got out of bed and took mineral water on the nightstand. Allana poured the water into a glass and sipped one glass of water at a time. Allana rubbed her mouth and walked out of the room. Sometimes he holds his head still hurting.

Outside the weather is very sunny. Allana did not want to waste time and immediately went out of the house. Allana opened the door and was shocked. He found Gyria already standing at his door.

"Ah... It's-it's okay." Allana smiled clumsyly. She was watching Luna Chole. She admired her beauty. Blonde hair was long waist and looked very graceful. Luna's face looked amazing.

"Let's have some tea at my house. I want to talk to you a lot."

They're walking towards Chloe's luna house. Everyone was outside including Gyria. Only Luna and Allana entered the house.

"Uhm.. A beta?" Gyria scolds Beck.

"What's the matter Gyria." Melissa answered.

"Hmmm... Allana doesn't seem to remember what happened last night and I'm sure I wasn't dreaming. W-what exactly is it?"

Melisa pulled Gyria's hand away from some people.

"Listen to me Gyria. He won't remember anything so keep your mouth shut! Don't let him know anything about last night. Him or his family. Youunderstand?"

"Tap-but beta..."

"Look Luna. How well he became so good. The child is indeed a warrior who is predicted and soon, our pack will come back again, strong and successful as before. Don't you want to see our pack become a pack when Luna Brea leads?"

After a while, Allana and Luna Chloe's meeting is over. Allana stops and starts walking out of the pack territory with Gyria who is carrying a tray full of food. Allana kept talking about her meeting with luna even praising luna. But Gyria just went silent.

"I thought your lunamu was dying. But he looks fine. Is he healed?"

Gyria was silent.

"Gyria!!"

"Why are you? Just shut up." Allana stopped her steps then stood before Gyria while folding both her hands in front of her chest. "Is there a problem?"

"The problem? What problems? N-nothing" Gyria said as she passed. Allana looked at Gyria confusedly.

"There's no Allana. I just don't sleep."

They reached the border and left immediately. Allana looked at her brother and hugged him.

Allana and Derek laughed.

"Hey, is that food for us?" chirps Steve saw Gyria carrying a tray full of food.

"Steve, come. You're such a disgrace."

"It's a thank you from our luna for allowing and bringing Allana here."

"really? Wahh.... Beta, can we eat?"

Derek asked Gyria but Gyria just kept bowing.

"Hey! Did you hear?" Derek raised his voice a little. Gyria turned and looked at Derek. "I asked if you had eaten."

"I'll eat later."

"What's wrong with you Gyria? From now on you were acting strange and always daydreaming." asked Allana confused.

"I'm good Allana. Yes, I will not come with you back. I have something to do here."

"really? Too bad."

"We'll meet tomorrow at school."

"certain."

Gyria was silent again. Just rant from gamma and omega Derek. Allana even laughed occasionally at their quarrel.

"We're done. Thanks for the food. Really delicious!" Thomas handed me an empty tray.

"Together."

"We're leaving now?"

"Sure beta."

"Then change."

Everything changes except Allana and Derek. Allana hugged Gyria.

"See you at school tomorrow."

Allana let go of her hug and then turned into a wolf.

"Thank you for the banquet. Sorry to bother."

Gyria turns around and starts walking but Derek holds her back.

"What's wrong with you?"

"There's nothing."

"No, Allana's right. You look weird."

Gyria sighed in annoyance and turned around.

"I'm doing fine. Although there's something with me, I don't think it's any of your business."

"Ahh alright, alright. No need to get angry. I'm just-" Derek's eyes are staring at something. "You're hurt."

Gyria surprised. He fixed the shirt he was wearing. The wounds from last night are still visible and have not healed.

"I'm fine."

"That looks bad."

"I'm fine! Go away or you'll be till night."

Gyria turned around and immediately walked inside the border. Derek was still staring at her. Is it because of that wound that he looks weird? But what do I care?

Derek changed himself and immediately caught up with the others.

Gyria pov's

I ran to Leysha's house but it was useless because Leysha wasn't home. I was confused where to look. Ah yes he was always in the forest to pick up medicinal herbs. I ran into the forest but not far away I saw someone standing alone. I recognized and respected that person, until last night.

"Beta." I rebuked beta Beck.

"Gyria, what are you doing here?"

"Finding Leysha." I replied coldly. I wanted to act like normal but I was disappointed in him. I walked back and passed it.

"I know you must have been surprised about last night. There's no other way Gy, it has to be done."

"Tell me beta. Allana's gonna be all right?"

"You see he's fine."

"No, something's going on with him."

"What do you mean?"

"He looks different beta. I don't know what it is."

"That's just your mind. Allana's fine." Beta Beck started walking away from me. From the look on his face I knew something was up.

"There must be something, right? Tell me what's up. I'm entitled to know after last night's incident" my words made the beta stop. Yes sure, I should know. But I kept going and didn't care about me. Oh no, I won't let it. I need to get an explanation.

"Beta, please tell me what's going on? And what ritual was last night."

"The less you know the better."

"No. I'd like to know. I beg you." I keep urging beta.

"You're so stubborn."

I fell silent and looked expectantly at him. But he just walked right past me. I breathe out slowly. I walked back to Leysha.

"It's a healing ritual." Beta Beck spoke to me again. I turned to look at him.

"Healing?"

"Yes, to cure luna."

"Did that work?"

"You can see how luna was this morning. It worked so well."

"Then Allana? Why does that look painful to Allana?"

Beta beck fell silent again, I became impatient with his attitude. Beta always spoke firmly and explained in detail. But this, he even seemed to be covering something up.

I started thinking and remembering.

"Our pack is going to split up and it's already happening. Then there'll be a warrior who unites our pack, and that's Allana."

I stared at the confused beta. How Allana's pain can hold the pack together.

"And according to the prophecy, the last luna will be exposed to a disease that will end the fate of this pack. Without luna, there's no pack."

"So you guys need Allana to cure luna?"

I saw beta sighing heavily. He looks heavy saying it.
