Chapter 27: I'll just stay with my kind

Allana's panicking.

"W-how is this?"

"Stay near us Allana. Lily, attack those approaching while I try to open this."

Lily nodded and prepared.

Kei crashed hard and immediately got up. He attacked the wolves that attacked him. He tried not to hurt them too much using his bite poison that made them die.

Kei again crashed. He growled furiously. Ian came to Kei.

"Don't doubt Kei, we're outnumbered. If you hesitate to hurt them, we'll lose."

Kei growled furiously. He ran towards the wolf that approached him. Kei smashed the wolf with his head. One wolf came and bit him. Kei groaned in pain. He ran while carrying the body of the wolf that bit him with him then made him hit the tree. The wolf was lying on the ground. Soon Kei was knocked down again. He bit, kicked, but the Wolves kept coming and attacked him. Kei's starting to get overwhelmed.

Meanwhile the witches

"Is it not yet?" ask Lily. This was the umpteenth time he had been struck down by a spell and had almost been struck by a death spell.

"Not Lily. It's-it's complicated. I've tried several spells to open it but none of them worked."

"I don't know if I can survive. They easily cast death spells. Keep trying Liv." Lily swung her hand, deflecting the spell.

"What is a death spell?" ask Allana.

"The spell that if you say and point at your opponent, your opponent will die."

"Just a spell?"

"Yup, one simple but deadly spell. Argghh!! Shit!!" Lily's face was injured by the sharpened leaves.

Allana. This can't be allowed. He wants to help. Allana closed her eyes, telling her body to change. But nothing happened.

Brakk!!

Lily was far away.

"Lilly!!"

"I'm fine Liv. Continue on!"

Lily got up and started attacking. Even Lily fought many witches. Not at all balanced.

"What... What do I have to do to make me change?"

"There's no Allana. You can't force it. Even though he was alive, his soul was still too weak. So-- Allana!!" Livia was surprised to see Allana start running towards the crowd of wolves that were fighting.

"Open it!!" peekik Allana's. "You can Allana, you can!!" Allana cheers herself on.

He looked at Ian who was in the crowd of three wolves. Allana jumped on top of one wolf and pulled the fur hard. Allana's wolf strength had not recovered but in was quite strong. The wolf growled and shook Allana's body to make Allana fall, but Allana continued to hold on firmly. But with a bang Allana crashed in the next second. Allana's body size is much different from that of the wolf, of course it can easily be hempas. The wolf stared and growled violently at Allana who was sitting on the ground. Allana began to fear, beginning to regret her recklessness. Allana mudur with a sitting position on the ground. His hand suddenly touched a log. Allana with all her might swung the wood in front of the wolf. Making the wolf flinch in shock and take a few steps back. Allana stood with a stick in her hand. The wolf growled and then went for a quick night towards Allana. The wolf leaped high towards Allana. Allana quickly dodged. Allana could continue to dodge the wolf's attack. Inwardly he thanked Beck for teaching him some martial arts. Allana was a little careless which caused her to crash into the tree. Allana grimaced in pain. But he immediately got up and held back the head of the wolf that was about to hit him again with the wood he was carrying. Allana retreated quickly with the wood still holding back the wolf's head thrust. Allana tried to resist the urge with her feet, lest she keep retreating and hit the tree. But vain. He can't help it.

"I won't lose. I won't lose. I won't lose." Allana muttered to herself. Allana's body was suddenly restrained. He looked back and there was already Kei there holding his body. Kei stared in disbelief. Kei swung his one hand and made the wolf that attacked Allana crash far enough. Kei lowered his body, for Allana to go up. Allana who understood instantly went up. Kei ran towards Livia. Every now and then the wolves approached and Allana quickly swung her wood, leaving Kei shocked. Allana still had enough strength to make some wolves retreat.

Allana descends from the wolf's body Kei and Kei changes himself.

"Livia?"

"Sorry Kei, this is difficult. I don't know what spell they cast." Livia looks panicked and confused. "Condeconsti!" Livia turned down one witch. "More, they kept attacking, making us lose focus. Looks like they won't let us through. The only way is we have to go back."

"There's no way Liv. Back means going through the Crysort pack and I'm sure it's waiting there."

Livia and Kei fell silent.

"How is... What if we go back?"

"Can't be Allana. Luna Chloe is too strong to stand up to our little army. Lykort's a long way from here anyway."

"I didn't say we were going to Lykort. We're going to the temple."

"What?"

"It seems like it's the best. Gathering with my kind is better."

"But with the plan." Allana said again quickly made Kei and Livia look at him. "The one in the car is me. They want me. They won't care about anything else. Therefore, we share the task. Someone was with me to go to the temple, someone was with Kei, who was going to fight the luna."

"I'll be there with him. Ryan will help you, Kei." said Ian who had joined them.

"Well then. You guys get ready I'll open the way."

Kei set his breath. His heartbeat quickened, Kei closed his eyes. There were three wolves in front of him. Kei opened his eyes. The color of his eyeballs was pale white. Soon his body grew and grew. His legs and hands were covered in long, dense feathers of dark gray. His face turned into a wolf mixed with the face of a monster. The nails are long and sharp. Kei stood up with both feet. He looked at the three wolves standing in front of him. The three wolves looked shocked and frightened.

"I thought the Kei wolf was white." muttered Allana.

"When a wolf is white, but when it becomes Lycan, like that and believe me. He's very strong." Ian explained. "When Kei starts attacking, get on my back."

Ian turned himself into a wolf and prepared. Kei looked back, at Ian and Allana. He snarled and ran to the wolves that attacked them. He tore them apart, ripping their bodies apart. Even Kei was quick enough to dodge the witch's attack.

Allana climbed onto Ian's back. Ian ran fast, looking for a gap.

"Beta." call Jack with his mind.

"Jack, I'll take Allana back to the temple because we won't be able to get to Zykort's pack. Help Kei to pave the way and divert Chloe's luna from us. Tell the others."

"Good beta."

Jack turns to Kei and helps him, while Ian keeps running away from some wolves and witches. The wolf Kian and Livia on top of him approached Ian.

"Dan, join us first. I'm gonna make a way so you don't get caught."

Ian changed direction. They gathered, preparing to strike back. Kei who had been standing started running back towards the wolves followed by the gammas and the females. Wolves Kian and Ian ran side by side. Likewise with Jason's wolf that Lily has on top of her body.

"Lily's spreading! As planned!" cry Livia. Jason complied and immediately moved to the other side.

"Misty Helamo" Livia cast a spell as well as Lily. The fog started to appear and it was getting busier and thicker. Livia and Lily still continued to cast spells so that if the witches swept away the mist, another mist would still come.

Livia handed Allana a red stone-like object and asked her to hold it firmly until they reached their destination. Allana according and Ian had run apart from the others. Some wolves chased them.

"Damn! They'll keep chasing me because I used my calf eyes. It's very hard not to use it inside the fog like this!"

Ian kept running away from the wolves.

"Dian! Don't use your Bet's eyes." Allana asked. Ian growling. He can't. "I beg of you. I can show you the way!"

Ian doubtful. But finally obey Allana's words and turn his eyes into ordinary wolf eyes. Ian's steps stopped. He looked around him. The visibility is limited. Different when she uses her eyes.

"Keep running straight ahead." whispered Allana but Ian did not move. "Trust me."

Ian finally walked straight. He's running a little. He was wary of the presence of another wolf. Allana also kept looking at her right and left. This whole forest has been scattered by the mist created by Livia and Lily.

Ian's steps stopped. He heard a lot of footsteps.

"Is anyone following us? How should we?" Allana is looking for another wolf. "Arrghhhh...!"

Allana's surprised. His hands were hot because of the stone he was carrying. His hands were starting to burn.

"What's wrong with this stone?" suddenly Allana remembered Livia's message to keep running until the goal. "That means we can't stop. Ian run. We can't stop."

Ian was confused by Allana's meaning. While he was still still motionless as some wolves would hear his footsteps.

"Well please hurry, this stone will soon melt and run out. If it runs out, I won't be able to show you the way."

Ian growled in annoyance and finally ran fast. There were the footsteps of some wolves that changed direction to follow them.

"Damn! I hope you can hold on tight to Al."

Meanwhile Kei...

The fog had disappeared perfectly around Kei and his herd. Kei looks at Chloe's luna who looks surprised to see Kei transform into Lycan.

"What the fuck?! You're attacking us!" Lily started to protest.

"Really very sorry, your majesty, but you have something that belongs to me."

Kei growled loudly, revealing his large, sharp teeth. His hands clenched hard.

"You know the consequences if it hinders even attacking the noble entourage?!"

"Know. But relax, I'll just take what's mine."

"Then we'll take it by force."

"Are you sure you're going against your majesty?" ask Livia. Luna Chloe clenched her teeth.

"Patut tried. After all, he would never be able to kill me. You're a witch, you know that, don't you?"

Livia looked at Kei. It's true, only Allana can kill him. If someone else kills Chloe's luna, Allana's wolf soul won't be able to return. Kei started moving.

"Kei, don't kill him." Livia's message. Kei only paused for a moment and then stepped back.

"Strike them!"

Some flashes are already beginning to show. Some of them are about Kei. Kei was barking in pain even though it wasn't enough to knock him down.

Luna Chloe just fell silent in her place. His eyes were looking for the whereabouts of Allana that he could not find from earlier.

"Luna, we better get in the pack. Pack we've been protected and-"

"I don't see it anywhere."

"What?"

"Allana! I didn't see it. Are you sure he was with the king?"

"Of course luna, I've made sure of it." said Melisa sure.

"Freak." luna Chloe frowned.

"Luna, the king is getting unstoppable."

"Count! Count their members."

"But luna-"

"Calculate now Melisa! It's orders!"

"Ba-good luna." Melisa was counting what she could see but Melisa seemed to be unable to count properly as they were all fighting.

"Basic stupid! Counting is not good!!"

Luna Chloe is getting angry. He looks panicked and agitated.

"One! Just one. Mel, how much beta does the king have?"

"What I remember when they came here.... There's two lunas."

"My guess is right. Goddamn bum!!! Follow me!!"

Luna Chloe turned into a wolf and immediately ran away.

Meanwhile Allana...

Ian just dropped one of the wolves. There were five more ready to attack. Ian couldn't move easily because Allana was on his back. He couldn't take the risk of taking Allana down. One wolf started to advance and jump. Ian prepared to fight. But one other wolf that had just come, knocked down the wolf. Ian's surprised.

"That's... Gyria.." Allana is surprised to see Gyria coming.

"Beta, go. Get Allana out of here. I'll take care of them."

"Are you sure you can face them yourself?"

"Related beta. I can fight them. Don't worry and leave! You don't have much time."

Ian immediately ran and left Gyria alone to face the five wolves.

The flashback

Gyria could only groan in pain. He was tortured earlier. His body began to weaken. He was not even able to move his body. He looked around him. There's no one. He was alone in that dark room. Gyria sighed. At least he won't be tortured for a while, that's what he thought.

There was no sound from the door for long. Someone tried to open the door. Gyria closed her eyes. Just now that he was able to breathe a sigh of relief, he now had to face the torment again.

"Gyria?" a voice called his name. That voice sounded familiar. "Gyria?"

Gyria could only groan slowly.

"Gosh Gyria."

"Leysha?"

Leysha ran towards Gyria. He tried to open the chain that bound Gyria's hand.

"No.. N-no.. Gone... Go away..."

"I'm not going anywhere."

Gyria shook her head as hard as she could. Refusing to be released.

"Me-they... They'll kill you if.. If they knew.. Go awayl.. I beg.."

"They won't do it. Shut up and let me set you free."

Leysha Berusha opens her chain. He could not use his wolf strength because his chains were smeared with wolfsbane poison which made him weak. Leysha tried to use the key. But of the few keys, many do not match.

Click!

Lock open. He managed to free Gyria.

"Uhukis.. Uhuk..."

"It... Drink that.." Leysha handed me a small bottle of drink. Gyria drank.

"Aakhkhh..." Gyria frowned.

"No, you should drink it."

"But-"

"I know, it doesn't taste good. It's a witch potion, which will take away the effects of the wolfsbane you've been drinking. I know they gave it to you."

Gyria sighed and tried to finish off all the contents of the bottle. His stomach is getting nauseous.

"You can't spit it out." Leysha asked. Gyria nodded slowly.

"What are you doing here?"

"Save you of course."

"But..."

"Nothing but Gyria. It starts here. I heard the king was using Lycan. They will be overwhelmed against it. Luna asked everyone to help fight, even those who could not fight even once. He's gone crazy!"

"My mother! I have to save my mother."

"no need. Beta Beck did it. I'll leave your mother somewhere safe, at least temporarily. Now, you have to go."

"But.but what about you?"

"I'll be fine."

"No! Come with me."

"Nothing but. Now leave. Your mother needs you. This is the address where your mother is." Leysha handed me a piece of paper. Gyria read the address on the paper. They stood. Gyria looked at Leysha. He hoped Leysha would change her mind.

"Come on! Go awayl. Through the back of the pack, you'll be safe."

Gyria nodded and ran away. The longer the power comes back. The potion worked. Gyria ran towards the back of the pack. When he had passed the border pack, he turned into a wolf and ran quickly away from the pack. But soon his steps stopped. Suddenly a fog appeared out of nowhere. The longer it gets thicker, making him have to use his gamma eyes.

Gyria continued to run but her steps came to a halt again. He saw someone fighting from a distance. He approached slowly.

"Allana?" Gyria saw one man who was on the back of one wolf. "What's Allana doing here?"

Gyria saw that the wolf on Allana's back had brought down one wolf. Gyria was sure they didn't have much time. Gyria stepped up wanting to help, but she finally stopped again. He remembered his mother.

"No, Leysha said the mother is safe, even if only temporarily, but the mother is safe. Mama can wait. Now my powers are back to normal. I have to help Allana. Yeah, I can wait, Allana can't."

Gyria ran towards Allana and hit one wolf that jumped high to attack Allana.

"Beta, go. Get Allana out of here. I'll take care of them."

"Are you sure you can face them yourself?"

"Related beta. I can fight them. Don't worry and leave! You don't have much time."

Gyria saw Ian turn around and leave.

"If you want to go after him, you're gonna have to get past me first."
