Warrior (Shewolf)

Warrior (Shewolf)
Chapter 8: What a Day

The sun shone on Allana's face, who was still asleep. Slowly Allana opened her eyes. He looked straight up. The white of the clouds and the blue of the sky, that's what he saw. He also felt the wind blowing. Allana raised her head, looking around, right and left. He was confused and sat down immediately. He was in a pretty big meadow. Around the field there are many trees. Allana stood up slowly. He's still confused.

The sun is warm. The wind blows softly. But there's no one there. Only him. Just Allana.

Before long Allana heard a laugh. Allana tries to find the direction of the sound. He walked slowly towards the voice. At first the voice was barely audible but the more Allana followed suit, the more clear the laughter became. Allana stopped walking. He saw from a distance some girls, more or less old than him sitting on the grass with a thin cloth. There were four girls there. They wore long canal clothes, like ancient clothes, as the history teacher had explained.

Allana stepped back to get closer. Before long came two adult women came to the four girls. They speak in a language that Allana does not know. In the middle of them there are already various kinds of food and even fruit.

"Excuse me..." Allana started saying hello. But they didn't pay any heed to Allana. "Permi-"

Bukk!! Bukk!!

Some big wolves came suddenly and approached the girls and the woman. Allana panic.

"H-hey.. Watch out... Watch out...!!" peekik Allana's. But they are still interested in their respective activities. The wolves got closer and growled violently. Allana slowly backed off. One smiling woman saw some of the wolves and said something that Allana did not understand. The wolves turned into humans one by one. The smiling woman gave them clothes and joined the girls.

"Why do I still like to be surprised when I face a wolf." Allana sighed. Allana watched them. They look happy. "It seems they didn't hear me. Hey..huh...! Didn't you hear me?" peekik Allana's. But still. No one paid attention to Allana, as if Allana wasn't around. Allana snorted in annoyance and finally gave up.

Allana was confused but ended up walking away from them. Allana saw the hill not far there and decided to climb it. Before long Allana was shocked. He saw a sight that amazed him. Some houses are ancient and some look like castles, green land and beautiful nature. Everything looks so beautiful.

"I... Where is it?" finally murmured.

"Beautiful right?" someone made Allana flinch. He saw a middle-aged woman. She was dressed in light blue clothes and was carrying her hair and was given some flowers that were already in a special shape the size of her head. She was wearing light blue clothes and carrying her hair and was given some flowers that were already in a special shape the size of her head.

"Who are you?" Allana's confused. "Wait, can you see me? You can see me, right?!"

"If I can't see you, I won't talk to you" the woman replied gently.

"But.. But why don't they say it when I say hello?"

"Because they can't see you Allana. Only I can."

"But why?"

"Because this is my memory." replied the woman while looking straight ahead. Allana's surprised.

"Wait-what? Why me-"

"Did you see it? Beautiful isn't?" cut the woman. Allana saw what the woman saw. The village that Allana saw when she first reached the hill.

"Where is that?"

"A village where Allana came from. The Crysort pack moon."

"That's... Is..."

"really. The Pack Moon Crysort. It looks beautiful because all of its inhabitants are women. They take good care of everything."

"But... Isn't the Crysort's pack moon destroyed? I mean, that's what Gyria said."

"I told you, this is my memory. Not the time you were."

"Then... Who're you?"

"I am Brea. I was the witch as well as Shewolf and Luna in the Moon Crysort pack."

"Luna means..."

"really. Because we don't have a male werewolf that can be called an alpha, so we chose Luna."

"Why does this pack only contain a werewolf woman?"

"Because I want to protect and train them to be on par with the male werewolves. Ye know? The men asserted that we women could only stay at home, doing easy work. I made all this to prove to them that we're the same, that any woman can do it."

"Ah.." That's all Allana can say.

"Allana.." the woman faced Allana and looked at her. "This pack will not be like this anymore even disappear. Only one warrior can bring it back to how it was. This pack has been predicted to be destroyed and divided and has been predicted also one Warrior will be able to unite this pack again. And that warrior is you, Allana. You're the one who's gonna put this pack together. Only you can make this pack, go back to what you now see."

"But how can you be sure that I am that warrior? It could be someone else."

"I'm the witch Allana. My greatest strength is fortune telling. I saw how this pack was destroyed. And I saw you coming."

"While it's true, I don't know how. I don't know anything."

"There's an ancient prophecy from a witch of my kind and it's related to the prophecy I saw about our pack. Find Allana's prophecy, find the witch. That prophecy will lead you to something else that will resurrect our pack again."

"Where can I find him?! I still don't understand my current situation!" Allana. He closed his eyes. The woman walked over then held onto Allana's shoulder and looked at Allana gently. Allana looked at him too.

"Members of our pack are not weak packs. We're powerful. There will be a way to get you started. Follow your instincts, not your wolf instincts but your heart. And now you have to wake up Allana. Wake up.."

"I... I can't."

"You can Allana... Wake now!"

The woman pushed hard on Allana's body backwards. Allana fell off that hill. He yelled.

"Aaaakkkhhhh...!!!"

Allana. His body was wet with sweat. His breathing was quick and irregular. He saw his surroundings. She was in bed and covered in a warm blanket. Allana realized she was in her room. He was confused as to what was going on.

"What's this about? Is that a dream? But why is that... Real."

Allana's room door opens. His mother went into the room and immediately rushed to Allana.

"Allana.. Dear.. Are you conscious?"

Allana's mother sat on Allana's bedside.

"You're sweating. How are you doing?"

"Okay, like."

"Thank God. You're making me worry." Allana's mother breathed a sigh of relief. Allana just kept quiet again. "Do you want to eat? Drinkies? Or anything?"

"Allana's fine ma'am. Allana just wants to be alone."

Allana regained her senses and covered her with a blanket. His mother could only sigh back and smile.

"alright. Call me if you want something."

Allana closed her eyes. He just doesn't want to be disturbed right now. His mother walked out of the room. Allana opened her eyes again when her mother came out of her room. Allana again sat on her bed with the blanket still wrapped around her feet. He lowered his head, leaning his face against his embrace.

"Why did this have to happen to me? Why me?"

Yoke!

A small knocking sound was heard from the window of his room. Allana raised her face.

Yoke!

The voice is again. Allana got off her bed near the window. Allana's window is still closed. He tried to peek from far away but found nothing.

Yoke!

That voice again. Right in front of Allana. Allana knew what made that sound. Someone threw something in his window. Allana immediately opened her window and looked outside.

"For a long time" said Gyria softly but strangely Allana could hear it clearly. Allana just stared at Gyria without answering her. "Hey! Is your hearing getting in trouble?"

"What are you doing here?"

"We were waiting for you yesterday. Is there a problem?"

Allana. He remembered yesterday's incident. The fight, the bite and the scratch. Allana remembers everything.

"Hey...!! Allana....!!"'s chat....!!" call Gyria again.

"It looks like he's going crazy. I don't think she's gonna be able to hold back everything that's happened to her." Leysha added.

"Hey, I hear you and I'm not crazy." Allana protested. Gyria and Leysha laughed.

"Then come down! Come on..!!"

"Where? And how am I supposed to get down in a place this high? My room's on the second floor, you see?"

"I can see it's Allana. Jump."

"Are you crazy?!"

"No, we're not crazy. Let's jump!"

Allana. He began to assume the two people outside had already lost their wits.

"Oh come on Allana... Don't just stay there."

"Are you scared?"

"I didn't... Fear." answered Allana doubtfully.

"Hmm yeah, she's scared."

"Godnesses..." Gyria rolled her eyeballs and snorted in annoyance. "Allana.. Everything's gonna be fine. You will not be hurt or die. Just jump please!" Gyria was getting upset. "ah! Bring your bag, fill it with clothes. You'll need it later."

Allana grunts annoyed but still does what Gyria asks. Allana hung her backpack on her shoulder and took a deep breath. He started to climb up the window of his room and stepped out of the window of his room. Allana was already standing on the roof of her house. He glanced down. It's only two floors but for Allana it's too high. He must have died or at least broken a bone, that's what he had in mind.

"Why is it so long?! Jump up!!" Gyria and Leysha looked impatient. Allana still looks very nervous.

"Do we have to bring him the stairs?"

"Huft.it looks like."

"Where can we get the stairs?"

Bukk!!

"No need." Allana landed perfectly. "I'm already downstairs."

"Well.. Okay, fine. Let's go."

"Wait, where are we going?"

"Follow it, come on!"

"Hey did my mother not hear all the commotion earlier" Allana said as she continued to run.

"So, maybe he knows."

"Mom can nag so fiercely if she knows."

"Don't think about it. We'd better just change. It'll be faster."

Gyria turns into a wolf quickly, after Leysha.

"Hey, I haven't been able to - oh well, I tried."

Allana stopped her running and threw her bag. He is concentrating on changing. But strangely his body did not want to obey his wishes.

"Oh come.... Or I'll lose track of them."

Allana tried again. Transforms himself.

"Why is it so long?" gyria protests back because Allana did not run with him and Leysha.

"I'm trying!"

"Are you sure? You look like you're having a bowel movement." Leysha commented, making Gyria laugh out loud. Allana is surly.

"Not funny."

"No need to have that face. Just calm yourself down and order your inner soul to change."

"I know that!.. Theoretically. But it's hard to do. Huft!"

"Because you're not used to it. Come on quick."

"Yes, that's very chatty."

Gyria and Leysha turned back into wolves. Allana was still trying to make Gyria's wolf growl upset.

"Patience!!" peekik Allana's. Allana took her breath slowly.

"Change, please.. Let's change.. Changed.."

Soon there was a sound of bone breaking. Allana has changed. Allana bites her bag and runs with Gyrian and Leysha.

'In this way we'll be quick to.'

'Where are we going?'

'Training place.'

'But I don't want to practice'

'Allana you need practice, believe me. Especially when I see your face when I change your form.'

Allana growled furiously.

'Come on faster. Use your powers Allana.'

They're running faster. Allana initially often hit trees and shrubs but the more she ran the more she could control her body.

Not long before they get somewhere. It had been waiting for some wolves there and it was certain that Allana did not know them. Allana just paused for a moment and ran again. Now they are more than five, running farther and faster.

They stopped somewhere. There were a few tents. There were a few women there and all eyes were on Allana. Some were surprised and some were amazed. They stopped the work they were doing and looked at Allana.

"Hey All, change, we've arrived."

Allana obeys Gyria. He could change easily, unlike his change into a wolf. Everyone was still staring at him as Allana passed by them.

"Uhm.. What's wrong with them? Why are they looking at me like that?"

"I've told you, all that's left in this pack are those who believe your presence can unite and rebuild this pack."

"But I'm still sixteen! How can your pack put their hopes on me?"

"That's what we believe."

Allana grunts annoyed. He doesn't know what else to do.

Allana pov's

I got to the back of the tents and saw some people practicing. They do physical exercise, fighting each other using the form of humans and wolves.

"Beta." call Gyria.

"Are you guys here?" Beck walked up to them. "Hello Allana."

I just smiled and nodded. Very clumsy.

"Where's the trip? Is there a problem?"

"Not beta, all is well."

Beta Beck and Gyria were having a conversation and looked serious. I don't want to interfere. I started to walk slowly and stared around.

I guess with everyone considering them extinct, their numbers will be few. I don't know why I still doubt. They look so... Despondent. Is this their only member? And I'm the one they said could put this pack together? They seem to be desperate. Then what dream is that? Did I just ask? No, it's not better not. I don't want them to expect me more. Then what should I do? I can't possibly solve this myself. What am I supposed to do?

"It seems you've got too much in mind."

I looked over and found Beck standing behind me.

"I'm fine."

"really? Doesn't look good to me. If there may be something you ask, don't ask me. I'll answer everything."

I was silent not answering. I still doubt.

"I... Was fine.."

"All right, let's practice. You need to work all your muscles."

Beck turned and walked away.

"Actually." I said at last. I saw Beck stop his steps and turn to face me. Oh god, should I say it. I looked at Beck. I bit my lower lip. I saw Beck waiting for me to speak.

"I... Uhm.. Do you know someone named Bre... B-Brea..?"

"Brea? If the Brea you mean is the same Brea I thought, then he is the first Luna in this pack and also the one who created this pack. What happened to Luna Brea and how did you know about her?"

"Ahh that... I think I heard about Brea from.. Uhm..."

oh my God, what do I answer?

"Gyria. Aye! He mentioned his tent."

oh, my God, why would I say that.

I bow my head.

"Ahh okay. Gyria and Leysha love Brea luna. He was like their role model even though they had not met before. But you also need to know about Luna Brea. If you practice here again, I'll lend you a book about him. All right, enough talking. Now let's practice."

I nodded and fell in my place. This is my chance to know the real prophecy about me and what it really is. I just need to hold on until tomorrow. Yeah, I don't think it's too bad. What could happen? They can't kill me. So I guess everything's gonna be okay.

"Allen...!! Why stay there? Come here and practice!"

Author pov

Allana was lying on the ground helpless. He's already so exhausted. His breathing is irregular. His heart rate is fast.

"I really can't go on anymore. It's insane! I pulled my words earlier. It's worse than them killing me. Shit!!"

Allana rattled her hair in annoyance. He did not expect that his training would be this difficult.

"Hey! Are you gonna keep lying there? Stand up and do your job!"

Allana snorted in annoyance and moved irregularly on the ground. Allana adjusted her breathing and then immediately got up. Allana again raised a fairly large tree trunk.

"Come on Allana, don't be so slow. Hurry up." Gyria walked past Allana with two trees that were the same size as Allana. The two logs were on both shoulders.

"It's funny." Allana looked at Gyria annoyed. "Do we have to lift up all these tree trunks? To the ala of all these tree trunks?!"

"Eitherway. Want to sell?" gyria said casually then left Allana who was still dumbfounded. Allana snorted in annoyance once again.

"Of course, there are benefits" said Beck who had noticed Allana.

"It's just collecting tree trunks."

"I know but..." Beck took a wood that was almost the size of the wood that Allana brought and smashed it on Allana. Allana quickly parried with her hands. The wood broke when it hit Allana's hand. "... Enough to train your hand strength."

Allana bengong's. He didn't know if he could break the wood.

"But... How the... How come?"

"You're a rookie werewolf. You have just become a werewolf which means you need to train not only your way of fighting, but your strength and all your senses."

Allana was silent. He still looks at his hands.

"Well, let's cut down and pick up some more wood."

"Is this not enough? It's been a lot!"

"Still need more. C'mon fast! Don't be lazy!"

Allana's drowning.

Until when I'll be like this
