Chapter 13: She is Mine!

Allana ran down the school corridor. He looks so exhausted. He had been running for quite a while but somehow the school corridor had no end. Door after door he opened, but there was always a corridor behind the door.

Allana's breath is heavy. He stopped and adjusted his breathing. He looked around him.

"I was right at school, it's school, but.. Why is there only a corridor? Where's class? And why is it so dark?"

Allana started to panic. He doesn't know what to do. Allana took a breath and prepared to run. But he had not stepped up, he was already surprised. There was one person standing a short distance away from where he was standing. Allana could not see clearly who it was because it was dark. Lighting only from street lights outside.

"Hallo's? Who's there?"

There's no answer. Someone in front of him just stood still. Allana slowly approached.

"Uhm.. Is this in school? Can you tell me what this is?"

Stay silent. Allana stopped her steps. He knew the man was a woman because of his long hair. Suddenly the sound of a wolf howl. That howl was pretty loud. Allana looked around. He tried to find the direction of the howling sound.

The sound of that voice sounded again. This time closer, no, very close. But he found no one but...

"Egdh.."

The woman was already standing right in front of Allana and strangled her. Allana tried to thrash but somehow she could not escape. The woman is strong. Suddenly the woman pushed hard on Allana's body while continuing to choke her until she touched the wall. Allana is getting more rebellious but her efforts remain in vain.

"You..."

The woman made her voice. Allana was shocked and silent. The woman's voice was husky and deep.

"You shouldn't exist, you shouldn't have been born."

"W-what... Whatchu mean?"

"I've made you not to be born. I did that already!! Butwhy.. Why are you still born!!"

Allana looked confused. He's very confused.

"You will cause the destruction of your own people. A warrior who will destroy his wolves. I told you, I've stopped your birth."

"No!! You must be wrong!"

The woman smiled and laughed. His loud and sinister voice of laughter echoed in that corridor.

"I'm never wrong, my predictions are never wrong. Beware warriors. Now no one will be able to protect you. Just you."

The woman smiled and raised one hand upwards then stabbed Allana in the chest firmly using a dagger blade.

"Aaaakkkkkkhhh....!!!"

Allana's awake. Breath fast. He held onto his chest which was still hurting.

"Miss Layford."

Allana looked ahead. There was already his teacher standing with his hands folded in front of his chest. Now Allana realizes she is still in school even in her class.

"I know my lessons may be boring but at least appreciate me here." The teacher seemed annoyed.

"Sorry.." Allana. He was still holding his pierced chest earlier. All his classmates looked at him.

"Don't mind him. We go back to our lesson." the teacher goes back to explaining the material.

Allana. I don't know what he's going through. Who'sis that? Shouldn't I have been born? Butwhy? It was just a dream but why did the knife hurt so much?

Allana walked out of her class. He was still confused by the dream he had. I don't know what that means. Is it true or just a dream?

"Allana." Erica aligned her path with Allana. "What's wrong with you? Why are you yelling?"

"I was just dreaming, I guess."

"You sure? It's not like you sleeping in class."

"Eitherway. I think I'm just tired. You know, practice being a werewolf."

"Did they treat you well?"

"Of course, they're all good. It's just that you know I'm not a woman who likes sports, so practice depletes me quite a bit."

"Hmm yes. Allana who always got reprimanded during sports lessons and is now the most powerful warrior. It's really unexpected."

"Well..Even dreaming of being a warrior never."

Erica and Allana smiled.

"I.." Gyria ran towards Allana.

"I'm Al first, don't forget Hope's school tomorrow. Don't let him know about our dispute."

"Yes, I know."

Erica walked quickly away from Allana.

"Why? is he bothering you?" ask Gyria. 

"No, we were classmates in the lesson."

"Oh.. Let's just go. It was beta mindlink said we should go, now."

"Not a two-hour workout yet?"

"Well yeah I know, but I'm juxtaposing it. We'd better go."

Gyria pulls Allana's hand and leaves the school. In silence Erica watched them.

In the training ground is not as usual. The practice was much harder than usual and there was no smile or reprimand from Beck. Even Beck stayed away from him. But Allana didn't really question him. He just wanted to quickly finish his training session.

"That's tired. What's with the training today?" Leysha began to complain as they took a break.

"Something out, it looks like the beta is different today."

Everyone looked at Beck talking to Mel.

"I guess I'll." muttered Allana.

"There's something, I'm sure of it. Beta always is if there's something."

"Is it because of the meeting?"

"Maybe.."

"What meeting?" ask Allana.

"There was a meeting a while ago. From that moment on, the beta looked different and... Looks like they're talking about you Al."

"Me?"

"Yes you. Maybe it's because you're a warrior who's predicted to put our pack together again."

"Why are your packs?"

"Our pack of peaceful packs, forests, nature all grow side by side in harmony. Witches even druids all coexist. We're nicknamed the peace pack. At least that's what I've heard from my mother and grandmother."

"Then.. Why is your pack destroyed?"

"Darkness."

"Darkness? Who's that?"

"She's a witch, a very powerful black witch. He can conquer all supernatural beings in this world, even the chosen one dies."

"The chosen one?"

"Yes, the chosen one. The seven strongest white witches. They died at the hands of Darkness. Only one left his descendants and is now the chosen one as well. But now only one is chosen."

"And Darkness is alone?"

"Alone, cruel and very strong."

"Why is he so strong?"

"Let's not know. I don't understand magic. Obviously, because of Darkness our pack collapsed. Our pack refused to join Darkness. If I think, of course I refuse. Darkness was ruthless, he did not hesitate to torture and even kill. After Darkness killed luna, they also killed the entire pack member. I heard the remaining ones chose to hide. That's why we never open our self pack. We let them all consider us extinct, for our good. That's why I understand if your mother moved Allana's pack. Maybe she wants the best for her kids."

Allana. Did ya?

A loud voice sounded suddenly. Allana, Gyria and Leysha simultaneously turned their heads. They've got some werewolves. Men of course, that's what makes them a little boisterous. Of the men, there were two who Allana knew.

"All, your mate." whispered Gyria.

"Sstt... She's not my matre." said Allana quickly.

"Are you crazy? He stated you were his mate back then, don't you remember?"

"I remember." Lesyha answered.

"Of course I remember! It's just that he's not my mate. I don't feel a thing!"

"Al, we're werewolves. It's supposed that if the opposite sex wolf declares us his mate, we also feel he's our mate."

"That's the problem! I don't feel anything. Even a little."

"So you mean.... She lying?"

"I didn't say that. I'm just saying I don't feel anything about mate."

Gyria and Leysha stared at each other for a moment and then turned to Allana. Allana looked at Arthur who was talking to Beck and Melisa. Arthur glimpsed at Allana, making Allana surprised and immediately turned his face away. Now his face is red. He was caught staring at Arthur silently.

"Did you realize he was handsome?" ledek Gyria also caught him. Allana rolled her eyeballs.

"I also know he's handsome. I do not have feelings about mate but my eyes and judgment are not blind." Allana said indifferently and then immediately left. Gyria soon followed.

"So... You're going to be with him, right?"

"Geez Gyria..."

"What's? He's handsome, he's alpha and he's your mate."

"I told you she's not-" Allana fell silent. He saw a single figure that made him stop his words then turned around and left the confused Gyria. Gyria wants to chase after Allana but her steps are stopped when she sees Arthur has preceded her.

"Are you avoiding me?" arthur asked when he was right behind Allana. Allana stopped her steps. Allana took a breath and turned around. Arthur was looking at her waiting for an answer.

"I'm not avoiding anyone."

"really?"

"really. I'm just, uhm, busy, with my practice."

"You can greet me."

"Do I have to? I don't even know you."

"You don't know me.. Do you?"

"Sure." Allana replied definitely. 'This girl is weird' Arthur thought.

"We've met Allana, remember?"

"Of course I remember. I recognize you, you. are the alpha in ..uhm." Allana forgot the name of Arthur's pack so she could only say that pack.

"Then why do you say you don't know me?"

"Because I don't know you, alpha sir" Allana said quickly to make Arthur frown. "Yes, I know, complicated. But that's how it is."

Allana turns around and leaves Arthur, still confused by Allana's behavior, while Allana walks faster and further away from Arthur and hides behind a tree to calm herself. Even now Allana was far from where they were training.

"Why did I say that strange thing? I'm getting crazy." Allana began to regret her stupid words. "Is he really my mate? that arrogant guy? then why don't I feel anything? Is he lying or am I weird? no, no, no. He couldn't possibly lie. Why he lied. He's alpha, handsome and he has everything, even though he's arrogant. So there's no way he's lying, he has no reason to. Is it because I'm a warrior? but I was supposed to save Gyria's pack, not the alpha pack. Thenwhat? i'm weird?"

Allana muttered to herself. He also felt astonished why he did not feel things about Mate and so on.

"Is it possible that I've just become a werewolf so I don't understand mate? but Derek says if we feel the presence of mate we'll go a little crazy, will fall in love and? to that arrogant guy? ughhh is impossible! I don't want to. Huft!! and I can make sure I don't fall in love with her! it's impossible."

"What is impossible?"

"Ahh sorry. I didn't mean to."

"Why come quietly like that?"

"Hurriedly? me? no. I didn't come quietly. You were the one who had been silent here and muttered indistinctly."

"A-i? I'm not mumbling indistinctly."

"really? You didn't even realize my arrival."

"You alone have not spoken."

"Then can you explain them?" Renald pointed at some of his pack members who were standing not far away from them. Allana's surprised. "I don't walk alone. I'm with them that I can make sure is very noisy and you don't hear them coming either."

Allana stuffed her lips into her mouth then immediately smiled awkwardly.

"You're not even aware of our arrival, which means you're thinking of something interesting."

"interesting? no, very unattractive." replied Allana quickly. "What are you doing here? this forest is very dangerous."

"Whoaa. Just bring yourself, miss. What's a girl standing here all alone?"

"I-it's none of your business. I can take care of myself."

"Sure, I don't doubt that." Renald tried to believe that because the last time he met Allana, Allana almost died at the hands of the rogues.

"Then I'll just go. You go too, you can eat wolves here" Allana said as if to make Renald smile amusedly.

"Just relax, before they eat me I'll eat them first."

"Ahh right, you are a werewolf too."

"Yup!" Renald nodded in.

"What are you really doing here? I mean in this town."

"I'm an exchange student, don't you know?"

"Are you sure of that?"

Renald laughed amusedly. "of course. You think I'd be willing to leave my pack just like that? If it wasn't for this stupid student exchange I wouldn't have left."

"True miss, this alpha one's crazy work and training on the pack, so he's not leaving." Ted, who was standing next to Renald, spoke. Renald rolled his eyes at Ted's words.

"the alpha? he's alpha?"

"Yes, sure."

"He doesn't look like an alpha to me." said Allana. Ted and all the gamma start to hold back their laughter while Renald is surly-faced.

"Then what do I look like to you?" asked Renald in a annoyed tone.

"Uhmm. Let me think." Allana was silent for a moment and seemed to think. "mega?"

"Om-om-- what?!" peekik Renald could not believe it.

"Bwahahahaha!!!" everyone who was holding back his laughter started to let out their laughter sounds. They even laughed quite loudly. Renald looked at everyone with a very annoyed look that made them all again hold back their laughter and bowed.

"Are you crazy?" asked Renald slowly and firmly.

"I? no, I'm not crazy."

"I'm omega? even that's lower than Gamma!"

"Well at least omega isn't the lowest among werewolves."

"Ap-you're crazy."

"Hey! not polite. I'm not crazy! just look at your body."

"What's wrong with my body?"

"Not like alpha's body most."

"What does alpha body look like?"

"High, muscular, stocky and has a distinctive charisma like a leader" said Allana. He saw the bodies of alpha Dwaine and alpha Arthur as he mentioned but not Renald's body.

Renald looked at Allana in disbelief. Yeah, he's not like alpha Dwaine or Arthur. His body was tall and muscular but not as big as Arthur. His body is high proportion. But not as bold as Arthur who looks big muscles even though he is wearing clothes. Renald's body is more like Kei, high proportional but does not look muscular if wearing clothes.

"Allen....!!" a scream danced the name of Allana. Allana's surprised.

"They're looking for me. I need to get back soon. You better get out of here if you don't want to get in trouble. There's a pretty strong alpha in there." Allana walked away from them. "See you omega and go quickly." Allana running.

"mega? he called me-aakhhhhh sucks!!"

Ted laughed again while the gammas just smiled a little as they still held back their laughter. They were afraid that if they laughed, Renald would get even more angry. Maybe Renald's body isn't as strong as Arthur's but Renald's alpha is very strong, especially if he's angry. Renald started walking in the opposite direction from where Allana was training, of course with a sour face. Ted was unceasingly laughing, making Renald fed up.

"Stop that ugly laugh of yours!" peekik Renald's.

"Oh come on Ren, this is so funny!" Ted laughed again. "Imagine, you're told you're an omega because you're not tall, muscular, stocky and you don't even have charisma as a leader. That swahahahah is funny. Even our omega's only big muscle."

"Akkhh shut up!!"

"Maybe you need to enlarge your muscle alpha, maybe that way you look like alpha" suggests Immanuel. Renald looked at Immanuel annoyed and made Ted laugh even more amusedly.

"It turns out your own gamma thinks you don't have Ren's muscles, not burly! oh, my God, this is so funny!!" Ted laughed again. Renald is getting upset.

"YOU..." Renald appointed Immanuel. Immanuel was surprised and lowered his head while cursing himself. Ted grabbed Renald's shoulder.

"Have not been angry. They're just kidding."

"Not funny!" Renald took Ted's hand off his shoulder.

"Oh come on. We need some entertainment, we've walked all the way in this forest, but at least we need a little entertainment. Well, that wasn't a little but it was amazing." Ted chuckled again.

"But it's not funny. How can my alphabets be questioned?"

"He just doesn't know Ren."

"Yes, yeah whatever." Renald is still upset. Ted smiled amusedly.

"But by the way, until when do we keep going? my leg is already hurting. We won't have time to practice if we keep going."

"This forest looks good for alpha training." Immanuel, one of the gammas begins to speak when they reach the other side of the forest.

"Because we're here? find a training ground. Is that okay, alpha? this means that here is neutral territory but there are still many other werewolves like that. They must be practicing, too." 

"Maybe but we're at least looking for it. I don't care, even if we're here we're still training. Don't be lazy!"

"Have you forgotten if our alpha one's this crazy workout? even though he's not muscular and burly, he's the craziest at training." whispered Ted. 

"I heard that!" they go deeper into the forest.  

"What if it's here?" Ted advises. Renald went around before deciding.

"alright. Let's practice."

Everyone began to prepare and undress.

"Ahh shit!" one of the gamma.

"What's up Rodge?"

"food."

"Don't tell me you left her."

"Hmmm..."

"Ahh shit you Rodg! why is it so important to be left behind?"

"Hehehe sorry..."

"Then what do you want us to eat?"

"How do we beat Rodge's wolf and bake it together" Brody suggested.

"Ahhh no, the meat is not tasty, bitter! huweek.."

"Stop joking. Rodge come back and get our food."

"But I don't even memorize the way back alpha."

"You've only got half an hour." Renald threatened.

"Oh shit, we're just going for an hour" Rodge said slowly.

"Because you'd better leave now."

"Ba-good alpha."

Everyone smiled happily at Rodge's misery.

"Stop smiling and let's practice."

"Well. wow. look who is here."

A voice stopped their training. Everyone look over.

"I didn't know I'd see you here."

"Arthur." Renald just stared for a moment and pulled his face.

"What are you doing here? far from home?"

"It's none of your business."

"Ahh has a boy like you failed to lead your pack? it's so sorry."

"Then what are you doing here? trying to find protection against all the attacks that happened in almost the entire pack?"

"Well!" Arthur laughs. "My pack is big you know, even my army is bigger than the girls." Arthur pointed to Renald's gamma.

"What did he say? girls?" Immanuel is getting upset.

"Hey, hey.he's the alpha." Brody tried to calm him down.

"What do you want Arthur?"

"Just say hello to the girls."

"I don't want to deal with you."

"I don't want to either, I don't want to. But I'm your reminder. Never go near that girl."

"Girl? what girl?"

"You know whose girl. Looks like you guys are close." Arthur watched them as they spoke. He hid and listened in silence from then on and followed Renald. Renald looked at Arthur for a moment and then finally understood who Arthur was talking about.

"Ahhh... Then what is your business if I know him? just take care of your attacked pack, do not like to interfere in other people's business and go! this is where we train and we'll practice."

Arthur smiled cynically.

"Remember this, if you approach her it will be my business, if you talk to her it will be my business and if you touch her just a little bit, it will also be my business, you understand?"

Arthur stared hard at Renald. Renald recognized Arthur's gaze. He knows Arthur's not kidding.

"Why is that your business?"

"Because she's mine."
