Chapter 20: The New Savior Or New Crush?

"I can't even help at all" Allana lamented.

"No problem. We'll try to avoid it." replied Will.

"I'll just be your burden."

"Hey, Allana, focus! If you don't want to be a burden, focus! Move as we move." Will insisted. He didn't want Allana to be weak at times like this. "Jim! Make protection! I'll divert them."

Will walked a little away. Some witches started attacking him. Even some wolves were preparing to attack. Jim started to cast a spell.

"Come on, let's change." Allana kept asking herself to turn into a serial. "I beg you to change." But his body will not obey his will. Allana grunts annoyed. Suddenly he was silent. He was surprised to see one person standing in the distance. He recognized that figure. Beck's.

"They... They pack Crysort."

Brak!!

Jim crashes and hits a tree, followed by Will. Even one wolf had already jumped high on Will. But not yet to Will, another wolf attacked the wolf. Will's surprised. From behind him appeared several other wolves and attacked the Crysort wolf one by one. Realizing the wolves that had just come to their aid, Jim immediately stood up to attack while running towards Allana but Jim's steps quickly came to a halt. In front of him was a witch who confronted him.

"Keep away." said Jim coldly. But the witch in front of Jim just grinned. The witch suddenly cast a spell that shocked Jim. But Jim could hold him back until he took a few steps back. Jim attacked back. The witch tried to hold back but she was a little off guard. Jim quickly attacked, pushed the witch's body firmly into the tree and tied it to the tree root.

Jim ran back to Allana and pulled his hand. They ran and hid behind a big tree.

"Are you okay?"

"Looks."

"I know how you are. So you better stay close to me."

"They... They know I'm leaving."

"That was predicted. They must be watching you closely."

"Gyria, it must be him again."

"Not necessarily."

"What do you mean?"

"While it is true that he was ordered to follow you, it does not rule out the possibility of them sending another without your friend's knowledge."

"So you mean..."

"They don't believe it."

Allana. But what Jim said was a big possibility. Gyria showed nothing but regret in her eyes. Butwhy?

"So you don't know them?" Allana's surprised. Jim shook his head. "Then... Who the hell are they?"

Allana looked at the wolf who was fighting a bit away from her hiding. Suddenly one wolf in white brown fur lunged at another wolf and tore the wolf's body. Allana jerks. The white brown-haired wolf looked familiar. The renald?

The white-brown wolf came to Allana and Jim. Jim quickly stood before Allana.

"Are you on our side?" ask Jim. The wolf stopped and lowered his head. "What does that mean?" muttered Jim. He did not understand the body language of the wolf.

"He's on our side." replied Allana. Jim looked at Allana for a moment then turned to the wolf.

"Then help me hold them off while my friend seeks help. They have witches, we have to seek the witch's help too."

As if understanding what Jim said, the wolf turned around and began to stand by. Jim's looking for Will's whereabouts. Will was lying on the ground with a wolf on top of him who wanted to tear his body apart.

"Electrico!!"

The wolf's body trembled violently and fell right on Will. Will removes the wolf's body and runs towards Jim.

"Will, get to a safe location and get help."

"Whatchu mean? I won't leave you, I'm your partner!"

"I know Will, but this is the only way. I don't know if a summoning spell can be done here or not. But with us not even being able to teleport, I think they are already wary of that. So go, run as far away as possible. When you can teleport, go to Disprea, send Knirer here."

"But..."

"Will, hurry! We depend on you!"

"All right."

Will immediately ran away. He's got one wolf. But another wolf attacked the wolf. Will is running back.

"Allana, stay behind me. We have to hold on until Will returns."

"There are some wolves that help, isn't that enough? Do I need a witch?"

"I know werewolves are strong, I never underestimate them but witches are pretty much Allana. I was quite surprised by the magicians they had. Moreover, they were powerful witches. Their strength is on par with young and middle elders, so we cannot underestimate them. We have to be aware of the worst."

Jim returned to cast a spell. They tried to keep running until the end of the forest but they kept on crashing. Even Jim's spells don't sometimes hit the wolves because they run so fast.

"You seek shelter." said Renald, who had transformed himself into a man.

"I know it's you." said Allana enthusiastically.

"Yeah, sure. You've seen me change."

"But how-"

"I'll explain later. We should be able to avoid them. Witches and werewolves are a terrible combination. Stay behind us and run as far as you can."

"But you can be fucked."

"Allana, don't underestimate us." Renald smiled and changed himself and went back to fighting. Jim pulled out Allana's hand which was still staring at Renald.

"I know you're worried about your girlfriend but we have to go."

"He's not-"

"Your lover? Yeah, we'll see."

Jim kept running.

Booms!!

An explosion was near them. Jim and Allana are down. Jim tried to get up but still rained glints of spells. Jim snuggled in his place. While Allana shouted out loudly.

"PLEase...!!!"

Some people pulled Allana away.

"Damn!!"

Jim cast a spell while trying to stand up. Jim cast a spell in all directions. He's really angry right now. Some were struck by Jim's spell.

"Winhale Maximo!!"

The wind blows strong.

"Winhale Exgra Maximo!!"

Jim cast another spell. This time the wind was stronger than before. Some people even started to fall far away. Allana crashes but Jim quickly catches Allana's hand and pulls her into his embrace. The wind stopped. Some bodies were already lying quite far away from Jim and Allana. From far away there was a beautiful grey-haired wolf. The wolf's body was bigger than the other wolves. The tail is longer and the hair is thicker.

"Do you know the wolf?" asked Jim who was also staring at the wolf.

"I don't know but obviously, he's the alpha." Allana was still staring at the red-eyed wolf.

"Luna."

"How's Beck? Is there progress?"

"Allana is not alone luna. He's with a witch and some wolves."

"Wolf brother?"

"Not Luna, I don't think so. Even the alphabets are here."

"the alpha? And they're protecting Allana?"

"Yes Luna."

"intriguing. Do you know which pack?"

"We still don't know Luna. Not from here we think, because we've never seen them before."

"Squeaky. What does this have to do with Allana? Doesn't matter. Keep attacking them. Don't let them get away. Kill it if you have to."

"But Luna..."

"Don't start flaccid again Beck. This is not the time to doubt. Kill everyone but Allana. Don't let him get killed. She's mine."

"Good luna."

"Luna." one wolf appeared again after walking a long way.

"Luna, one witch has escaped."

"Damn! Can't you guys work properly?! Brand only two witches and a small pack of werewolves!! Quickly kill them all and take Allana away!! Do all that before the runaway brought his friends. I'm sure he'll call his witch army. Do now!!"

"Good Luna."

Everyone hastened away. Only Beck looks reluctant. He disagrees with everything that happened. Starting from luna Chloe took the soul of the wolf Allana until now. But what can he do? She's beta Luna Chloe. Inevitably he had to obey the words of luna. Beta has a binding relationship with alpha/luna. Beck runs towards Jim and Allana.

"May one day you forgive me Allana."

Beck's running faster and bruk! Ted bumps into Beck's body until it rolls over together. Ted and Beck both immediately got up and growled violently.

"Who are you?! Don't interfere in our affairs! You're gonna get hurt!"

"Open? Hmh! I'm not scared. Who are you anyway? Why are you attacking humans?! We werewolves are forbidden to hurt humans, you know. That's our law!"

"You don't understand! It's not what you imagined."

"Not as I imagined? You must be kidding."

Ted runs fast and attacks Beck. Beck avoids Ted and continues to evade Ted's attacks.

Even so, he knew he could not continue to dodge. Beck was crashing rough on the ground.

"He's... Strong."

Beck immediately got up and prepared to receive an attack. They roll back. Ted tried to bite Beck. But Beck manages to hold and kick Ted's body away. Ted immediately got up, growled loudly and then ran crashing. Ted's body instantly squeezed hard on the ground. There's another wolf coming. The wolf growled furiously at Beck's wolf.

"He's just a kid."

"Therefore. He's just a kid, but how come you can't beat him Beck. Don't make it an excuse that makes you weak!!"

Melisa stared intently at Beck and immediately ran to attack Ted.

Meanwhile Allana..

Jim kept trying to protect Allana. Allana was silently trying to change herself.

"Stop trying to change yourself. I know you want to change that day." Jim looked at Allana and touched her shoulder. Allana just stared at Jim. "I read in one of the books about werewolves and asked who knew about your people. Same result. It takes a full wolf soul to change. You'll hurt yourself if you do."

Allana. He felt so useless.

"Don't give up. Look at me and the werewolves fighting for your safety. Don't make this fight go to waste." Jim tried to convince Allana.

Jim stretched out his right hand in front while his left hand still hugged Allana tightly. Jim managed to hit several wolves that approached but not with one wolf. Chloe Luna. Several times Jim cast a spell but the spell was like not hitting Luna in the least. Jim pulls Allana into hiding behind him while he tries to fight the wolf in front of him.

Luna growled furiously. One gamma from Renald's pack tried to attack him but quickly luna bit and tore the wolf's shoulder. The wolf slammed down and lay weakly on the ground. Jim surprised. Now the body of the wolf luna was surrounded by the wind, like there was magic that did that. Luna did not stop. He continued walking towards Allana and Jim.

"Al, if anything happens to me, go. Run as quietly as you can."

"But..."

"Nothing but Allana. Promise me."

"I'm..."

Luna Chloe is getting closer. Jim touched his Elder bracelet and changed his clothes using the Elder's clothes, a long dark blue robe. Allana was surprised to see the change.

"I'm Jim Mayhthem. I won't let you touch it. If you still dare to step up, I will face you as an Elder and a Knirer."

Luna just growled at hearing that. Jim declared war. He knew he was going to be in big trouble because of that, but Jim didn't care. Luna Chloe still stepped up. Jim swung both of his hands and cast a spell. Luna Chloe's steps stopped and her steps suddenly retreated backwards. Luna growls in anger and tries to break Jim's spell. Jim tried to hold back but he lost. Luna managed to escape from Jim's spell and ran fast and jumped high, right towards Jim.

"Dipercantian!!"

Luna's body crashed a bit far away but she was able to balance her body so that when her feet touched the ground, she could instantly stand up and run. Jim cast a spell for a strong wind, the roots of the tree moving, but nothing stopped Chloe's luna. Luna turns herself into a human being when she is near Jim. Jim surprised. Luna walked on both of her human legs. Her hair was let loose and she did not wear a single garment.

"You're just a lowly witch" Luna said as she shook her hand. Some leaves and roots flew and began to form something. "Middle elder? Dare to fight me?" Luna Chloe sneered. The roots and leaves had already formed a long dress and enveloped the luna's body. "I'm from the Crysort pack, I'm also a witch. I'm curious, do witches like you know that werewolves, especially luna, are powerful witches, too, a deadly combination? And you, the middle elder, dare to fight me? You even wear your big shirt. Do you know what that means?"

Jim just shut up. She didn't answer Chloe Luna. But Jim knew he wouldn't win against Chloe's luna. Luna smiled mockingly. He quickly attacked Jim. Jim quickly also deflected but not for long. His body was blown away.

"Jim!!" peekik Allana's.

"Allana, RUN!!" Jim tries to block Chloe's luna from trying to reach Allana. Luna Chloe manages to touch Allana but is released due to Jim's spell. Luna Chloe groaned furiously. Then blindly attack Jim.

"Oh no... Jim.." Allana's steps stopped seeing Jim hit by some spell.

Renald suddenly jumped high, even he passed Allana's head. But before landing on Chloe's luna's body, Renald was held up in midair. Apparently luna already knew Renald was coming. Renald floated in the air with his neck choked with still a wolf.

"I'm no ordinary witch. I'm a Psythic witch." luna Chloe smiled broadly. His right hand choked Renald while his left hand let out an electric current to shock Jim.

"No! STOP THAT!!! stop all this. I beg. I'll go with you wherever you go. But please, don't hurt them. I beg you." Allana's pinta. Allana is standing in front of Chloe's luna.

"really?" luna Chloe crashes into Renald and releases a spell from Jim.

"Ti-tida-a-k.. A-All-Will.." Jim stammered. He felt pain all over his body. I can barely even breathe.

"All right then. Let's." luna Chloe put her hand out. "Come, welcome my hand. We get out of here and I'll let your friends live."

"No Allana!! Don't believe. He--akhh!!" Luna electrocuted Jim again.

"No! Don'tdon't. Stop it, I beg you..."

Luna Chloe stopped the spell and smiled at Allana.

"Shall we?" take Luna. Allana reached out her hand to welcome Luna's helping hand.

Booms!!

Dar!!

There were some sounds of explosions. Some witches started appearing in some places. Jim limped over and pulled Allana's hand away from Luna Chloe. Luna Chloe shouted furiously.

"Jim!! I'm not being delayed?" will helped Jim. Jim shook his head.

"No, good job Will." Jim smiled and patted Will on the shoulder. Jim looked at Allana. "You... All right?"

"Why ask me that? Just ask yourself that." said Allana. Jim laughed when he heard it.

'He... How handsome.' Allana shook her head quickly, overcoming her admiration for Jim.

"Jim!" one Elder, Augys, called him.

"Mr Harris."

"You're fine."

"No problem."

"Berteleport. Go straight to Lykort. I've overcome the barrier spell."

"good. Thank you Mr. Harris."

"But.why are you wearing that robe?" The Augys were puzzled to see Jim wearing his Elder oversized robe, as the robe could not be carelessly used even in battle.

"Yah!! I just realized it." cried Will.

"Uhm.. I'm.."

"Oh, forget. We will discuss later. Most importantly, this kid first." Augustus pointed at Allana. "Now go."

"Wait, what about the other wolves? They're friends! I'm not leaving without them!!" allana said quickly. He's worried about Renald and his pack.

"Another wolf?"

"Not all those wolves attacked us, Mr. Harris. Some helped us even save us."

"But how to distinguish them all if they are still wolves?"

"All the wolves that attacked us were women and saved us were men" Allana explained.

"You sure?"

"Positive."

Dar!!

I heard the explosion back.

"Go Jim, Will. Hurry along!! Let me and the knirers handle this."

Jim nodded and looked at Allana.

"You ready?" ask Jim. Allana nodded slowly. Whether there is a magnet in Jim's eyes makes him quickly agree to it when he was reluctant to leave because of Renald and his Pack. Jim and Will hold Allana and teleport.

Within seconds, their feet hit the ground again. They reached the forest again.

"God, can't we teleport anymore? Why the forest again?" Will started to panic.

"I don't think Will. This forest... Different than before."

Jim still holds Allana's hand which is now as red as a tomato. Jim stepped out of the woods.

"You sure Jim?"

"I'm sure. This forest is different." Jim's still researching the woods.

"Uhm.. Jim... I think you're wrong."

"really?"

"That-that's.." Will pointed at the pack of wolves before him. The wolves spread out and surrounded them. "I told you, right? It's the same forest!" whispered Will.

"But.. I think it's different."

"Why are you so stubborn! Just look at us being surrounded by angry wolves again. They even look creepy from before."

Jim and Will prepare if they're attacked. Allana was already standing in the middle of Jim and Will.

"Stop!!" one man ran over and came to them. Some wolves were still growling furiously. "Hey, I said stop it! Are you going to argue with me?"

All the wolves bowed obediently and began to move away.

"I'm sorry for them. They are just guarding this territory." said the man with a smile. But Jim, Allana and Will still look alert. "Ahh don't be afraid, I won't hurt you."

"We're not afraid."

"Well.yeah, I mean like that. Which one is Jim? Jim Mayhthem?"

Jim frowned. "I."

"We are waiting for your arrival. That girl must be the warrior, right? And the other one.... Wait, I forgot. Uhh!! William!"

"Yes, that's us."

"My name is Ian, I'm beta here. Come with me, the king is waiting." Ian smiled and led their way. "Is there a problem? Because you're so late, it worries us."

"There's a little problem."

"Slightly said Jim? Nope, no.. That's lies. Big deal! We're surrounded!"

"In the siege? Really true?" Ian stopped his steps and looked at Will and Jim.

"Uhm.. But we can handle it, don't worry."

"Good then." Ian walked back. "Your decision is right to come here and involve us."

"Is my sister there?"

"There was. We were waiting for you guys earlier."

"Dian?"

"Dian? No, he doesn't exist." said Ian

Jim's face changed.

"Calm down Jim, you'll meet him next time." Will patted Jim on the shoulder.

"Stop that." Jim looks uncomfortable.

"What... You have a relationship with Bian?"

"Uhm.. No, no.."

"I think they're lovers." Will said at will.

"really?" Ian looked surprised.

"Ah no, no... That's not true. You're this." Jim looked in anger. Ian just chuckled amusedly. Allana just quietly listened. Bian's? Who her? Jim already has a girlfriend?

"Hey, why are you quiet?" ask Jim to Allana.

"Ah... No. gabe. I'm just tired." Allana wasn't completely lying. He was indeed tired but what made him moody was only disappointment in his heart.

"Just relax, you'll rest once you get to the castle."

"Do you really live in a castle?" will asked enthusiastically.

"Kei is the king, king of Lycanthrope, certainly lives in the castle."

"Is the castle big?"

"You can see for yourself." Ian pointed at one magnificent building and looked old but still stood firmly.

"Whooa...."

"Welcome to the kingdom of Lykort."
