Chapter 257: Alan Is Late
Alan has just arrived at a church Hamish allegedly used for a wedding procession. He immediately ran towards the church after contacting Alberto Miguel and telling him everything. He felt he could not find Irene in the city alone. He split up to find Irene and eventually Alberto's men contacted him to come to the place immediately.
When he was almost at the door of the church, he felt something strange. Next to the church was a loud noise.
"Aji, you go inside first. I want to check over there," Alan said.
The two eventually split up, Aji goes inside and Alan combs into the side foyer.
Alan saw several people running out through the side door. He followed them. Her net caught the figure of Irene who looked faint in the sling of a man.
"Irene!" shouted Alan.
He sped up to chase those people.
Alan's existence is based on Hamish. He didn't want to lose Irene. He quickly brought Irene into the car he had prepared.
"So far she!" hamish's orders to his other men.
"Irene! Irene!" Alan kept calling out Irene's name.
As he was about to get closer to the car, several people confronted him. Alan realizes that he must defeat them to save Irene, so he prepares himself to fight.
The three Hamish men stepped forward, ready to face Alan. They attempted to attack Alan in turn, but Alan easily dodged and countered their attacks with skillful martial techniques.
Meanwhile, Hamish watches from inside the car with Irene still fainted beside him, her smile teasing as she watches her men fight Alan. However, he felt worried as Alan began to take control of the fight.
"That damn guy finally got here too!" hamish said in an annoyed tone.
The three Hamish men continued to attack Alan, but Alan continued to fight vigorously. Alan manages to throw one of Hamish's men against the wall and sends the others tumbling to the floor.
"Aah!" squealed to Hamish's men who felt his bones breaking.
Only one of Hamish's men remains, and he continues to attack Alan with his skilled martial skills. Alan dodged every attack and quickly countered him with one powerful attack. Hamish's men were thrown to the floor, helpless.
Alan looked at Hamish with an angry look and walked over to their car.
"Run the car!" hamish's orders.
Realizing the car was starting to run, Alan ran after it. "Wait on! The irene! It´s me! Irene!"
Unfortunately, the running speed is not comparable to the speed of the car. Alan's breath was stingy because he tried to chase the car that took Irene away.
Not long after, Alberto and Alan's men came over.
"Irene has been taken away," Alan said in a disappointed tone.
"Hamish it really ...." Alberto clenched his own hand. Hamish's actions had infuriated him.
"Why did you just call me?" ask Alberto. He was also disappointed with Alan who was late to give his information. Had Alan told her early, she might have acted sooner.
"I'm sorry" Alan said, looking down. He also felt disappointed in himself.
"Yes already! There's no point in arguing either!" said Alberto. "We're just trying to find Irene again. They must still be in this country. I'll try tracking through the existing CCTV. We'd better split up again" suggested Alberto.
"Well, I'll follow what you're going to do. Thank you for helping me find Irene" Alan said
"It's not a favor, but it's an obligation. She is my daughter. His safety is also my responsibility" Alberto replied. "When my daughter said you were her lover, I didn't believe her at first. Irene is a very independent type of woman and likes almost no man. I have often introduced him to some people I think are suitable. Unfortunately, Irene had rejected everything. He said he was only interested in you" he continued.
Alan was thrilled to hear the story from Alberto. In the past, he thought Irene was too lucky to be able to enter his family. However, when he thought again, it turned out that he was lucky to have been loved by a reliable multitalented woman.
There are a lot of guys out there who are better than him, but Irene dropped the choice on him. Even when Irene used her disguise, there were so many people interested in Irene.
"So, are you guys really dating?" ask Alberto to make sure.
"We're not just dating, sir. The plan was that we would get married soon if this didn't happen" Alan said with a look on his shoulder.
Alberto patted Alan on the shoulder. "So a tough guy. Let's find Irene together again!" take Alberto at once to encourage.
Alan again managed to shake off his sense of despair. With the support of Alberto, he is confident he can find Irene back.
"What should we do with those who have been successfully arrested, sir?" ask one of Alberto's men.
"Call the police and let them take care of it!" Alberto's orders.
"Then, what about the Reverend?" ask the guy again.
Alberto frowned.
"That priest who has presided over the wedding of Mr. Hamish and Miss Irene. However, the priest claimed that he did not know that the woman was forced to marry. Are we going to sue him too?" ask the guy.
"of course! Take him to the police station for questioning!" Alberto's orders.
The man according. He returned to the building to check on the people who had been arrested.
Alan's down. He felt too late and failed. Irene is married to Hamish.
"Don't think!" reprimand Alberto. "Marriage based on a sense of compulsion cannot be recognized. Just focus on freeing Irene. I'm sure he doesn't want to experience this either" Alberto's eyes.
Alan smiled slightly. Although a little relieved, he still felt anxious if he could not find Irene.
They finally return to track down Irene. Along the way Alan continues to be pensive next to Aji who is his driver.
Every now and then Aji glanced to the side. He felt sorry for Alan who had been sleep deprived as well as fatigue. Moreover, for several days their work has not yet produced results.
He was disappointed with his trip this time. He had already imagined for a walk in the country casually. What was imagined before coming there was absolutely nothing materialized.
