Chapter 52: Suspicion

"Sir Alan ...." Irene was stunned to learn the man she accidentally bumped into was Alan.

Alan took a moment. He rubbed his eyes to make sure what he saw was not a hallucination. "Miss A?" tanyanya.

Irene had forgotten that she was wearing her original appearance. He already called Alan's name and had to pretend to be a figure that Alan knew.

"Oh. Hi.." - He smiled broadly.

Alan immediately pulled the hand of the beautiful ghost into a deserted place. He kept making sure that the woman before him was truly Miss A. "You're lying, right .. You're definitely not a ghost. It seems like everyone can see you too."

"Don't I ever tell you I'm half a ghost? They can see me at night. I'm a ghost but like a human." Irene tried to dodge.

Alan's mind that was initially confused with Sovia is now focused on thinking about who Miss A really is. The ghostly figure had not appeared in his house for a long time but was suddenly in such a crowded place.

"You're lying, right?" ask Alan again.

Irene sighed. "What good is it to lie to you. Nevermind! I want to go enjoy the time of being able to live among humans. You don't have to interfere in my business, okay?" He intended to leave only to avoid questions Alan suspected of. Unexpectedly, Alan restrained his hand from leaving.

"As much as you're a ghost or not, I'm happy to see you here." Alan said with a stern look of his eyes made Irene give in and sit back down.

The two sat next to each other in silence while looking at the crowd in the night market area. Sometimes Alan steals a glance at a woman who makes him very curious. She was sure that the woman was not a ghost. One thing that makes him confused, why the woman is often seen in his house. He once asked several servants but no one knew who the woman really was. Or did he have something to do with Irene.

Irene. The woman that Grandfather chose also made him curious. He was trying to figure out the identity of Irene Abraham. However, there was not the slightest bit of information he had, not even about the family of Abraham himself. Grandpa didn't tell me anything.

"Why you?" asked Irene who had been feeling noticed since.

"No... Why me?"

"Since I've been looking at me. Is there anything strange?" Irene gave her sharp glances.

Alan shook his head. "Now you're moving here?" tanyakanya.

"You must be missing, right? Must've found me at your house ...," Irene's lead. "Lonely would it be if you hadn't met me?"

Alan smiled. "really. I was so lonely as long as you weren't there. About, how do I get you home?"

Irene did not expect Alan to give such an answer. He starts to think that Alan is becoming interested in him. "Don't tell me you like me."

"What if it is?" Alan said without any doubt.

Irene blinked as if in disbelief. "Haha .. so funny. Does anyone like ghosts like me?"

"If the ghost is as pretty as you are, everyone will love it too." Alan showed his seriousness. He was indeed interested in the figure of Miss A who he met in the garden of his home.

"Oh, huh? So, what about that woman? I already know that you have a boyfriend named Sovia." Irene was very curious about Alan's reaction if she discussed Sovia. Is it true that the man could lose his mind because of a ghost?

Alan was silent for a moment hearing the name he had already scratched in his memory. Just now he got a betrayal from that selfless woman.

Drrt ... Drrt ....

Suddenly Irene's phone rang. He immediately checked his phone. The number of one of his grandfather's men. "Sorry, I have to go now!"

Irene hurriedly ran away leaving Alan. He was looking for a safe place to talk to Ron.

"Well!" it was Alan who was annoyed at losing track of Irene.

Irene who had managed to escape from Alan went into the public toilet. He dialed Ron's number back because his phone line was cut off.

"Hello, Ron ... What's wrong?" ask Irene.

"Miss, Mr. Hamish has returned."

Irene felt astonished at the information she had just received. "What if Hamish goes home? I miss him too much. Where's grandpa?"

"Mr Hamish kept him at home and wouldn't let him go out or call anyone."

Irene wondered, why did her cousin sister have to hold their grandfather? What Ron said made him even more confused.

"It seems I will also find it difficult to contact you, Miss. Message from your grandfather, lest Mr. Hamish find you."

Irene was confused and wanted to laugh. "Why should I hide from my brother?"

"Mr Hamish wants to marry you, Miss. He was Mr. Abraham arrested just for not agreeing to it."

"Sister Hamish wants to marry me? It doesn't make sense. Our relationship is like a sister. You don't make it up, Ron!" Irene wanted to laugh more and more with the story Ron told.

"If I lie, there's no way I'll let go of contact with you, Miss."

What Ron said made sense. Ron had not contacted or replied to his message for a long time.

"The situation is too complicated to give an explanation to Miss. Clearly, Mr. Abraham asked you to hide for a while from Mr. Hamish."

"Hm, okay." Irene was not very understanding of the situation. Ron could not lie.

"Miss also needs to be careful with Mr. Alan."

"Why is he too?" Irene asked curiously.

"Mr Alan seems to be getting curious about you."

"But, all the digital traces related to me you've removed, right?" Irene asked to make sure.

"Already, Miss."

Irene breathed a sigh of relief. "Don't tell this to Grandpa. I will try to settle my affairs here as soon as possible."

"Good, Miss."

Irene hung up from Ron. There are a lot of questions in his brain. The news he had just been with still confused him. He didn't believe Hamish could do that to Grandpa. Wanna marry her? That doesn't make any sense. Their age is quite far and Hamish is like his own brother.

In addition to the affairs with her cousin, Irene also had to think about her disguise. He had too often revealed his true face to make Alan more curious. Ares has also seen.

Alan watched as he pulled out his phone. He will definitely be suspicious of her. Where there are ghosts who have cell phones all. Irene patted her own head feeling like she had done something stupid.
