"Alex, you're crazy, yeah! Unhand me!" erika Pinta.
Alex did not speak to Erika. He kept the woman running with him. Until he arrived at the parking lot, he forced Erika into his car. He immediately started the car engine and drove it.
"Alex, put me down!" erika Pinta. He saw Edward who had arrived there but was too late.
"I need to talk to you alone" Alex said as he continued to focus on his drive.
Erika really could not understand the man's attitude. He fell silent and leaned his body against the car seat.
In the darkness of the night that enveloped the deserted beach, Alex pulled over his car by the side of the road. The calm waves struck the shore in a soft voice, creating an atmosphere that seemed to depict the silence of his heart. In a burning unease, he felt a newness within him.
Erika sat beside him, her face filled with anger and dissatisfaction. He looked at Alex with a sharp look, demanding an explanation that he could not seem to accept.
"Why did you bring me here? I have to get back to Edward! I'm not happy to leave my future husband like this!" his weakness.
Alex gulped, feeling the pressure in his chest grow bigger. He clasped the wheel tightly, seeking the courage to express his feelings.
"Erika, I love you."
Erika was silent for a moment, her eyes looking at Alex in astonishment. He could not believe what he had just heard. A small laugh tickled his lips, revealing how absurd the statement was.
"Haha! You're kidding, right? Since when have we become more than friends?"
The incident this afternoon still stuck in Erika's heart. He had even cried because of his love that was clapped one hand by the man.
Alex looked at Erika with eyes full of sincerity. He felt the courage that grew inside him, not wanting to keep the secret of his pent-up feelings for so long.
"Maybe I've always thought of you as a friend, but my feelings have grown to be more than that. I realized how much you mean to me. I love you, Erika."
Erika was still shocked, trying to digest everything she had just heard. Surprise and doubt played on his face. He gazed towards the dark ocean, pondering the words Alex had spoken. It was as if the man had played with his heart. It was so easy for the man to destroy himself who was trying to move on from his feelings.
"I don't know what to say. You are really outrageous" said Erika.
"I'm sorry, I'm late to realize it" Alex said with a hopeful look.
Erika takes Alex's hand off him. He was already disappointed, but he felt an unexpected tremor within him. His heart was pounding, facing new feelings and changing everything.
"Erika ..." call Alex.
"I've given you opportunities many times, Lex. Last day I told you that. I want to marry Edward" Erika said firmly.
Alex's blood is getting hotter. Suddenly he pulled Erika's hand and grabbed her nape. He kissed the woman by force.
Erika tries to escape, but Alex kisses her aggressively. Somehow he gradually softened and also returned the kiss.
Her tears were dripping as their lips met. Erika did not understand her own feelings at this moment.
Both cuddle. Erika was crying. "Alex, why are you so evil!" the upset.
"I'm sorry" Alex said. That's all he can say.
Alex always felt his feelings. He considers their relationship to be just friends. However, when he saw Erika's closeness to another man, he felt very unwilling.
The two got out of the car, sitting next to each other on the sand of the beach looking at the dark ocean. There was only the light of the street lights. The atmosphere is very quiet. Erika rests her head on Alex's shoulder.
"How am I supposed to account for all this?" ask Erika. He was confused to explain it to Edward.
"Let me face it. I'll see your parents and your fiancee if I have to" Alex said calmly. He was ready to be a shield for Erika.
"You'll be scolded all out, Alex. My marriage is ready and it is still being done" said Erika.
"That's not what you need to think about. I'll take it all."
Alex grabs Erika's face at him. He looked at the figure who had meant so much to him. Romantically, he kissed Erika's lips again. He really cannot lose himself.
