Chapter 269: Black Shadow

"Get me your arm!" Alan Pinta.

Irene was astonished to hear Alan say that to her. Unexpectedly, it turns out that Alan saw the gunshot scars Irene had felt. Irene hastily brushed Alan's hand away from him and went back to hiding the scar.

"So you were there?" alan asked with a face full of regret.

Irene did not understand what Alan said. He just looked at the man.

"You're the one wearing the fox mask? Time to face Big-O?" Alan confirmed the question.

"Where do you know?" now it was Irene's turn to be curious.

Alan remained silent.

"Don't tell me Alan's brother is from Black Shadow" Irene said.

"I was helping you at the time. With motor!" firmly Alan. It was time to say everything openly.

For a while Irene felt weak to know. "Sister, that's right. That's ...."

"I knew. My organization has always been the essence of the state, as well as foreign parties. That's what you're going to talk about" Alan said.

Irene rubbed her forehead. He took a breath and exhaled it roughly. He did not expect Alan to be part of Black Shadow.

"Trust me, my organization isn't that bad" Alan said. "I've also been planning to divert my men to get a decent and better job."

Black Shadow is always looking for potential news or disgrace of influential figures in a country that can be quite a big impact if revealed. Every time they found evidence of misappropriation, they would terrorize the party with the spread of news.

They would ask for a huge reward if they did not want the news to be revealed. During this time Black Shadow earned a lot of income from it.

"For as long as I believe that it is not a crime to rob the wealth of criminals. I just make money from their fears" Alan said.

"That's the same as helping cover up their crimes, brother. It should have been reported to the authorities to have their assets returned to the state" Irene said. He also felt guilty apparently during this one of the clients he protected doing such a thing.

Alan laughed faintly at Irene's opinion. "It's just that most of what I rob are them, honey. Then, where else do I have to report because most of them are already dilapidated?" tanyakanya.

"Trust me, there must still be honest people" Irene said.

"I knew. But, instead of seeing their case stalled without continuation and the state money runs out for certain circles, I deliberately play cat-and-mouse with the government first. Once everything is clear, I'll open them one by one."

Alan patted the top of Irene's head which still looked dumbfounded hearing her honesty.

"That's very risky, brother. If it's found out ...." Irene expressed her concern.

Alan smiled a smile. "I have you I can count on" he said.

Irene looked into Alan's eyes deeply. "The security system I've built isn't always safe, brother. That time was caught by Big-O."

Alan took Irene's hand and kissed her. "After falling in love with you, I want to have an ordinary and simple life. Maybe like your grandparents who live in the village."

Irene felt melted. He rested his head spoiled on Alan's shoulder. "Talking about grandparents, I haven't had time to visit them after coming back."

"You take it easy, I've put my men to look after them."

Irene re-strengthened her body. He looked at Alan seriously. "Don't Alan know they were being watched by Kak Hamish's men?" tanyanya curious

Alan nodded. "Actually I told my men to investigate about you. When I came to your place, Ron told me about Hamish."

"I went to my grandparents, asked about you. He said you were probably taken to a rural area. I looked for you for a few days and found nothing. After meeting Mr. Alberto, then there is a bright spot about your existence" said Alan.

Irene wiped her tears. He recalled the sad event he had experienced. She hugged Alan.

"I'm sorry, yes," he said.

Alan rubbed Irene's head. "Why should I apologize? There's nothing wrong. I'm sure it's not your will either" he said trying to calm down.

"Sister Hamish is actually a good person, don't hate him" Irene said.

Alan seemed to be breathing. "I knew. He's your cousin anyway. But I still can't forgive him for kidnapping my future wife" he said.

"But at that time I was just you kicked out" Irene said.

"Ah, yes, I also made a mistake back then. I'm sorry." Alan could not escape Irene's words.

The giant wheel they climbed stopped. Their time there is up. Alan took Irene by the hand and took her down from there to take turns with other visitors.

"You still want to try another ride?" ask Alan.

Irene looked uninspired next to him from crying. "We go home, I'm tired" Irene said.

"Well, this weekend we're going to grandpa and grandma's. They must be glad you're back" Alan suggested.

"Yes" replied Irene.

He recalled that they were not his real grandparents. That fact made him sad. Although they never treated her badly, their closeness was no longer the same.

"What if our marriage is accelerated?" ask Alan.

"Are our wedding plans still lacking fast? Your mother even told me to fit in the wedding dress" Irene said.

"A month two for me is a long time. If we could get married this week. I'll try to discuss it with your grandparents" Alan said.

Irene could only shake her head at Alan's words. The man seemed very relaxed in talking about their marriage. In fact, Alan's parents wanted a big wedding party.
