Chapter 258: Escape
Irene woke up with a dizzy head and an unpleasant feeling. He felt lying in an unfamiliar place and there was a noise around him. Irene took a moment to adjust her gaze and realized that she was in a room very different from the one she had previously occupied.
As Irene's memories returned, she recalled the incident that left her lying in this unfamiliar room. Irene recalls how she was forced to marry Hamish, a man she did not love. The wedding dress, the priestess, the sacred promise, and the kiss she did were still clearly imagined. Irene was frustrated and did not know what to do.
Suddenly, Irene heard someone's voice outside the room. He slowly got up from his bed and slipped into the door to listen to what the person was talking about. Apparently, it was Hamish who was talking to his men.
"They are gone, we can't count on them anymore" Hamish said in a threatening voice.
"Do we need to send people there again?" ask Hamish's men.
"No need! Irene is now mine. So, even though grandfather and grandmother had nothing to look after anymore, it did not matter. Don't tell Irene this!"
"Good, Sir."
After hearing the conversation, Irene felt annoyed and wanted to escape immediately. He felt that there was nothing more that could be used to threaten him. His grandparents were already free from Hamish's pressure. However, as she was about to sneak away, Irene was caught by Hamish.
"Irene, where are you going?" hamish asked in a rude voice.
"I want to get out of here" Irene replied in a stern voice mixed with anger.
"It will never happen. You are mine now, we are officially married" Hamish replied in a hoarse voice.
Irene shook her head. "But you know that I never agreed to marry you. You forced and manipulated me into marrying you!" irene's frustration grew.
Hamish grinned. "That's past, Irene. You are now my wife and I am your husband. You must fulfill your duty as my wife. There's no other reason."
"But how can you demand that I be your wife? You know how unhappy I am and don't want to marry you. I'll never admit that we're actually married!" Irene raised her sharp gaze.
"Whatever it is, the point is we're married, Irene. We've been through the wedding ceremony and have signed the marriage certificate."
"That all happened because you forced me to sign the marriage license. I never wanted to marry you, and you know it!" Irene remained adamant on her opinion.
Hamish approached Irene and held her hand tightly. "But you're married to me, Irene. You can't just run away and leave me. We have to solve this problem together."
"I'll never admit to our marriage, brother. I'm gonna run away from here and figure out a way to end this. I don't want to be the wife of someone I don't love!"

Hamish gave a slap across Irene's face. He was upset that the woman continued to argue with him.
"You need to stay with me. You can't just leave me. We have to find a way to live our marriage happily" Hamish said.
Their debate grew heated and Irene did not know what to do. He felt trapped in a situation he did not want and felt there was no way out.
"Hamish!" shout Virgo. "You've ruined my life and now you have to pay the price!" objurgation.
Hamish and Irene are shocked to see Virgo enter their room. Hamish immediately realized that the situation was very dangerous and he had to act immediately.
"That's it, Virgo," he said as he stood up. "We can talk about this matter calmly. There's no need for bloodshed here." Hamis tried to settle the matter peacefully. He didn't want Irene in danger.
"No, Hamish!" answer Virgo firmly. "You have to feel what I feel. You have to pay for all your mistakes!"
The three of them were in a tense state, and before long, a great battle broke out. Hamish struggles with the remnants of his abilities, but the number of people who come with Virgo is overwhelming. Irene also helped overcome one by one of them with Hamish.
"Irene, don't get hurt!" hamish.
Although both are hostile, they are compact in facing opponents. One by one their enemies beat them.
The battle was fierce and inevitable. There were loud clashing sounds, screaming sounds, and also the sound of leg stomps that showed that Virgo people were looking for people in the house. Hamish fights his way up against Virgo and members of his organization. He continued to fight and showed his toughness, even though in his heart he was very afraid of losing Irene.
After a while, they finally managed to defeat Virgo and the members of his organization who came with him. But, they could not linger in the room. They had to flee immediately before anyone else came.
"Irene, we have to go now!"
Hamish orders Irene to leave immediately and tells her bodyguards to provide a car so they can get away from the place quickly. After waiting for a few minutes, his escort car arrived. Hamish and Irene immediately ran to the car and escaped from the place.
They don't know where to go. Hamish wants to take Irene to safety. He felt that he could not allow Irene to be in danger again after the incident that had just happened.
Finally, they decided to go to the hideout that Hamish had prepared beforehand. Even so, Irene was still very scared and worried that this matter was not over and would continue to haunt them in the future.
On the way to the hideout that Hamish had prepared, the car that took them was suddenly chased by some of Virgo's men who had not been defeated. The car continued to be chased until finally hit by gunfire and stopped.
"Ah, fuck!" pekik Hamish is upset.
Hamish and Irene who were still in the car were shocked and panicked. They know that this is a very dangerous time. Hamish immediately pulled out the weapons he was carrying and tried to defend himself from the attacks of Virgo's men.
"Can you use a gun?" hamish asked Irene.
Without saying much, Irene snatched the gun from Hamish's hand. Meanwhile, Hamish takes out another weapon.
There was a very fierce firefight between Hamish and the Virgo men. Irene could only hide in the car and pray that Hamish could survive the battle. However, in the midst of the battle, Hamish was suddenly pierced by a bullet in his chest.
"Aah!" peekit Hamish's.
"Sister Hamish!" scream Irene.
