"Thank you!" Alan accepted Sovia's gift with a cold face. He was just upset that people like Sovia could be so confident coming to his party like their relationship was still fine.
Almost Alan throws the gift Sovia gave him, but Ares comes to prevent it. Ares took the gift that Alan was about to throw away. "Don't be like this, brother," Ares said in a soft voice. He tries to show a smile to Sovia who came with her brother, Laga.
"Sister Sovia how are you? It's been a long time, too, we haven't met," Ares said.
She knew her sister Sovia was present. Being friendly to Sovia is limited to appreciating Laga who did get an invitation from her grandfather. They were in a group not far from them. If Sovia feels offended, Laga may get angry and make business relationships chaotic. Although Laga is not a high-class businessman, but his relations are important.
Alan was probably the one who didn't really care about such a trivial matter. Moreover, Alan is a person who relies more on logic than on the social side. As a sister who happened to see her brother's behavior, Ares tried to cover so that the brother did not get a bad stamp.
"I was busy with some shooting contracts, Ares. You're getting older, apparently. I heard you also started taking care of Grandpa Narendra's company?"
"Still learning, brother. My college isn't over either."
Alan looks careless with Ares's good treatment to Sovia. His sister continues to do well to the woman he really wants to kick into the sea. He turned his attention in the other direction until he found Irene who was walking not far from him.
"Irene!" call him.
Irene turned towards the voice that called out to her. He saw Alan waving a hand giving a code for him to approach. Irene walked over towards Alan, Ares, and Sovia.
"Why, Brother?" Irene asked with a plain face.
He glanced at Sovia, the woman showing a look of annoyance towards him. He was also upset about the incident at the shop this afternoon. If there was a boxing ring, maybe he would challenge Sovia to a duel with him so that everyone would watch their fights.
Alan pulled Irene's hand to get closer to him. Casually he embraced and rubbed Irene's head, leaving the woman stunned and widening her eyes.
"Thank you, yeah ... I really like it. Your taste is very good," praised Alan.
"I'm grateful that Brother likes my little gift" Irene said with a stiff smile.
"I'll wear it every day. You should also be the first one to help me wear it."
Irene did not expect that Alan had opened the card. He had deliberately placed a gift for Alan inside the man's room when the party was about to begin. Alan behaves as if he is familiar with her, deliberately to make Sovia jealous. Although feeling a little uncomfortable, Irene tried to compensate for the acting that Alan did in order to hit the stealth woman.
Their successful acting made Sovia furious. The woman chose to step aside to her brother who was still busy talking to his business partner.
"Even if you don't like Sis Sovia, it shouldn't be that Sis Alan is going frontal here" Ares said.
"She's the kind of woman who doesn't know herself and will never understand human sign language. You banish him blatantly he still cannot be sensitive to realize it" Alan grumbled.
"Somehow, why was he invited? I'm so lazy to join Brother's party" Irene protested.
"If you want to protest, tell Grandpa yourself. Sovia came with her sister" said Ares.
"Alright, ladies and gentlemen ... Tonight we are gathering single men and women. Do not let anyone who is married or married try to infiltrate in the following ways, yes!"
It sounded like the host was announcing something while standing in the middle of the area. The lights had turned dim, both young men and women wearing masks one by one entered the area.
"The dance is about to begin. Please see the card you have obtained randomly from the committee."
Irene became one of the participants there. He had put on the given mask and looked at the figures he had obtained. He got the number 9. If only grandfather hadn't forced her to come along, Irene might have preferred to go into the room. He doesn't like that kind of show.
"Please the participant who gets the number nine sequence go forward! You're gonna be the next dance couple."
Irene to the point of confusion as her number was called by the host. He advanced to the middle of approaching the host while carrying the sequence number he obtained. How shocked he was, when he realized that his dance partner that night was Alan. Both seem awkward.
Meanwhile, in another corner, Grandpa was smiling, happy to see the togetherness of Alan and Irene. He accidentally creates a dance show without Alan's knowledge, also pairing Alan and Irene as a couple. He wants to see their relationship progress further.
"Huh ... It was unexpected that I would pair up with Brother," Irene murmured.
"I didn't even know there would be an event like this" Alan lamented. His grandfather was very fad, liked to prank himself.
"I can't dance at all, sister," Irene said.
"Don't joke ... Aren't you a multitalented woman?"
"Seriously, Brother ...."
Music starts playing. The dance couples have danced together affectionately. Alan and Irene were still looking at the people around them.
"Get on my feet!" Alan Pinta.
Irene was stunned for a moment. Alan held onto Irene's hand so that the woman would not fall down while raising her foot on Alan's leg. One of Irene's hands held onto Alan's shoulder while the other was held by Alan.
Irene was so nervous. His position with Alan was so close that his heart was pounding. Their bodies were really tight, while Alan's footsteps carried him swaying to and fro with agility. He couldn't even concentrate when he inhaled the scent of perfume that Alan was wearing.
"Have you remembered his movements well?" alan asked as he continued to bring Irene to move according to the music.
"Not yet, sister," said Irene.
"Indeed it seems like this move is quite difficult for beginners." Alan stopped their movement. "We just hug while moving to the right and left" he asked.
Irene was stunned by Alan's will. Not yet had time to refuse, Alan had hugged him and began to invite him to move following the strains of the song. He was pounding more and more, afraid that Alan was aware of his nervousness.
Both are swept away in the atmosphere and music. The hugs they do look more romantic and flexible to make people who see it feel envious. Grandpa Narendra kept smiling watching the two of them from a distance.
