Chapters 104. Faya's vexation

Affan felt he had seen a woman very similar to him at a business banquet. He couldn't possibly be mistaken considering because his appearance and face weren't much different. It also happened not too long ago about a month ago.

"Already, Mas. Forget it I didn't take revenge on him. Everything he does will get his own payoff. God will not forget the vengeance on the slightest sin."

Aira's words made Affan feel touched. He shouldn't have taken revenge on the person who insulted Aira. Maybe if they meet again he will just warn him that what he did was not good.

"All right, sweetheart. Don't worry, I won't make a mistake. If I go back to insulting him it means I'll be the same as him" Affan said.

Aira smiled and felt calm. She was not worried that her husband would make a mistake. Even though he only returned insults but the possibility could add to the problem became even greater.

As with Affan, Faya also became more patient. Aira had taught him many things. He was very lucky because Aira's good nature slowly made him more mature.

The mood in the car was silent. They did not want to chat anymore and chose to enjoy the scenery outside through the car glass. The atmosphere of the city at night looks so beautiful even still very crowded like when during the day.

Aira remembered her conversation with Affan this afternoon. The real life of the portrait he saw was clearly displayed before him. Now he can see firsthand the portraits of disadvantaged children who scavenge for sustenance and live on the streets.

They look very patient even though their life cannot be said to be happy even far from that word. Maybe it was because Affan saw her every day that he couldn't help but care about them. All the time they live on the streets, sometimes there are no results they get or just enough to eat.

In contrast to Aira Faya is more interested in seeing buildings, shophouses and shops that have unique designs to attract visitors. Every time he saw a unique design he thought of making the same thing. Faya doesn't know if Aira has the ability to create designs that may be more unique than everything she sees. Her father had only known recently.

There are many projects that are helped because of the hobby of Aira. Whenever Affan recommended a design from her the clients immediately agreed to it and took the design from Aira. Affan told his client that the design was his wife who had made it. They think Affan's wife is a graduate of a top university. However, Affan refuted her and spoke honestly about Aira's education. This made them even more amazed at him.

"Do you want to buy something?" ask Affan to Aira and Faya.

"No, Mas. That you, Fay?" ask Aira.

"I don't want to buy anything either. Just seeing this traffic jam makes me dizzy. I want to hurry up to the house and sleep comfortably because tomorrow I have morning lecture." Faya looks very excited to go to college.

"Sweet child," praised Aira as she leaned her head on Faya's shoulder.

In front of her, Aira did not dare to be friendly with Affan even though she just put her head on her husband's arm. Until now Aira is still shy every time she is caught watching Affan in front of Faya.

The traffic jam was so boring that it made Aira and Faya sleepy. Affan who was tired of working all day also felt a tremendous drowsiness. The three of them finally fell asleep until they did not realize they had reached home.

Their bodies felt very sore when they woke up because they did not move at all when they were asleep. For a while they recovered their consciousness first before getting out of the car. When they are sleepy, they may fall while walking.

"Astaghfiullah!" affan exclaimed while dropping his body on the bed.

Finding a mattress when you are sleepy is an invaluable pleasure for him. Affan was already back asleep when Aira returned from the bathroom. Its enlarged content makes it often go back and forth to the bathroom.

Aira goes to the cupboard to pick up another blanket because the blanket is now overcame by Affan's body. He could not wake her up let alone lift her body. Aira patiently enveloped Affan's body then she lay down beside him.

Before Aira fell asleep, she kept looking at Affan's very calm face while asleep. There was no look of anger there as he had seen it a few hours ago. The charismatic man has made her fall in love.

'I feel like a wife and mother loved in this family. I never imagined I would marry my best friend's father. It all happened not because of our plans but because of the destiny that brought us together.' Aira smiled reminiscing piece by piece the fragment of the story she had been through.

Memories that sprung up and alternately drove him to dreamland. Aira's eyelids began to weigh and slowly clenched perfectly. His heart felt so peaceful even though it only remembered him.

That night, Aira slept soundly.

Morning, the morning,

Affan and Aira look fresh after the shower. This time they did not want to go for a walk outside. They just walk around the house and just to release sweat.

Faya wakes up and immediately prepares for college. Although he has never been punished, he does not want to come late to campus. It would be a shame if he came late.

If not on holiday, Faya has no chance to accompany Aira. He hopes this Saturday can wake up early so he can accompany him. Although there was his father accompanying, but he also wanted to take part.

Until Sarah and Faya finish breakfast, Affan and Aira have not yet come to the dinner table. Faya who felt very curious immediately moved from her seat and went to look for her. He brought his bags so that all farewell.

Aira was delighted to see the arrival of Faya who caught up with them at the back. He walked over to her so that Faya would not go too far when he wanted to reach her.

"Ma, Dad, I say goodbye first, yes," said Faya as she reached out her hand to take Affan and Aira's hand in turn.

"Yes, Honey. It's breakfast, right?" ask Affan.

"Already, yeah. Assalamu'alaikum" Faya said before leaving.

"Wa'alaikum salutations." Affan and answer simultaneously.

Both of them were unaware that the morning sun had crept up. Affan hasn't taken a shower and is getting ready to go to the office. However, he was a little late to his office.

"I take a shower, yeah, baby. Just wait for me in the dining room. You have prepared my clothes for today" Affan said with a smile.

"Yes, Mas. I'll wait for you at the dinner table." Aira returned Affan's smile with a smile that was no less sweet.

After Affan's departure, Aira went straight to the dining room and waited for Bi Sumi to warm up the food for her. He also asked for an omelet on his menu. Although the portion is small but Aira wants the contents more complete.

At about seven in the morning, Affan had come to the dinner table. Aira helped bring food for him. They both enjoyed the food.

At home feels lonely. Aira repels saturation by drawing a playroom for Sapphira. Affan's work is very much, he does not want to add to the burden he bears by asking for a place to play for Sapphira.

He was secretly planning to order a non-permanent barrier on a development expert. Aira will also use her personal money for this. However, before placing an order, he will also ask permission from Affan first.

Bi Sumi felt astonished because since morning Aira was in the room. After breakfast he went in and did not come out again. Feeling something strange, Bi Sumi intended to check it out. He wanted to see Aira's state and make sure she was okay.

"Mrs, ma'am, is Madam busy?" bi Sumi asked while knocking on Aira's room door.

"Yes, Bi. What's up?" ask Aira from her room.

"That-nothing, Madam. I just wanted to offer to make some juice" Bi Sumi said a little nervously. He was afraid that his arrival would interfere with Aira's activities.

"By, Bi. No need to add sugar, yes!" exciting Aira.

"Good, Non." Bi Sumi was relieved that her master was fine.

Then, he went to the dinner table to make Aira's favorite juice. Bi Sumi memorized what fruits Aira liked and disliked. He made the juice quickly and immediately took it to Aira's room.

Before entering, Bi Sumi knocked on Aira's room door first. It felt impolite if he went straight in with just a greeting from the front door.

"Come, Bi!" aira exclaimed after hearing Bi Sumi's voice had reached in front of her room.

Bi Sumi could now clearly see what Aira was doing in the room. He walked up to her carefully while looking at the floor. Paper that is stepped on can make it slam and fall.

"Where should I put it, ma'am?" asked Bi Sumi while continuing to be careful.

"On that table alone," point Aira at a table.

"May I help you with these papers, ma'am?" Bi Sumi did not want Aira to slip by the paper.

"By, Bi. I'm done too. Auntie threw away the paper. It's not used anymore." Aira took a glass of juice and sipped it slowly.

"Okay, Madam." Bi Sumi picked up the paper one by one and piled it up. He then said goodbye while carrying the trash paper so as not to fill Aira's room.

Aira looked so happy and smiled satisfied when she saw the design she had made. Although it looks simple but enough to make the empty space more useful. In the future, he also wants to create a special playroom for his son.

Drawing too long makes his back feel sore. Aira moved her body so as not to feel stiff. However, it did not seem to reduce his pagans, he finally chose to lie on the bed.

The cold air of the AC in his room made his eyes feel heavy. Slowly the drowsiness is not able to be held. Aira fell asleep in a dream that afternoon.

On campus,

Faya was again the center of attention when her senior sister talked about it in the cafeteria. He himself rarely went to the cafeteria but someone told him. It just so happened that his classmates were there when someone talked about it.

"Fay!" call Diana.

"Yes," replied Faya flatly.

"You're so relaxed being a person. Don't know what you're talking about a lot of people."

Diana's words made her look at him with a clueless look. Faya thinks that he's not making jokes or fuss in college. Then for what reason did his friends gossip him.

"I don't know. Let it! The important thing is that I didn't hear it" said Faya, who again sounded relaxed.

"Right you don't want to know? I was just kepo. Looks like someone saw you on a date yesterday." Diana continued to provoke Faya's curiosity.

Actually Faya did not want to know but over time he ended up also consumed by the words of Diana. All this time he did not have many friends so he never worried about being a gossip material. Only this time he became a talk among the students.

"It's up to you to tell the story or not. I don't want to bother with trivial matters like this." Faya refocused on the book she read.

Diana brought her mouth closer to Faya's ear. He did not want others to hear what he said to Faya. It seems that only a few people know about Faya's problem. Most of them did not care and did not want to interfere.

"Someone saw you were having a serious conversation with Mr. Rendi after college. Someone else said you were going on a date. I also don't know where this news came from, which is clear they have evidence of your meeting" Diana explained.

"Oh, that, yeah. They just misunderstood. I didn't plan a meeting with Mr. Rendi. We accidentally met in front of the campus gate while waiting for my slightly late pickup car. That's all, we're not just the two of us. There are several campus guards sitting near us" Faya explained.

"But where they believe. They think you guys must be nothing." Diana tried to draw a conclusion to this matter.

"That's their right. I don't want to bother about this. Hopefully they will soon realize that what they think is wrong." Faya got up from her seat and prepared to return to class the break would soon be over.

"Fay, wait!" diana exclaimed while running around chasing after the indifferent Faya

On the way to the classroom. The two happened to meet with Mr. Rendi who was walking in the opposite direction to them. Faya pretended not to see it and turned her face away as if they had never known each other.

Diana who was with him felt very confident that Faya did not have a relationship with Mr. Rendi. However, he was suspicious of Mr. Rendi's attitude which gave a different look to Faya. In conclusion, Diana suspects that Faya's crush is Mr. Rendi but Faya does not realize it.

"Fay," called Diana when they were already in the classroom.

"It looks like Mr. Rendi has a different attention for you, deh," said Diana with a very funny mimic.

"Then? Don't make new rumors. If that's true let it be his business and not mine. My goal here is to seek knowledge not to find a mate. I'm not getting married anytime soon so I don't care even if what you say is true." Faya answered Diana's conjecture firmly.

His words were not very loud but some people around him heard his words. Some are amazed by the personality of Faya, some think if he is lacking association. Not a few who say if Faya cupu.

Whatever it was, Faya did not care about it and chose to focus on her studies. He didn't want to waste his youth thinking about things he didn't deserve. If it was her way of getting married, Faya would only think of the man she wanted.

"You don't love to turn down a handsome and famous guy, Mr Rendi?" asked Diana who still did not believe Faya's answer.

"of course. Never mind, do not discuss Mr. Rendi continue. Not good as the others. Later I guess I have nothing really anymore. Soon the lecture will begin, we should be prepared," said Faya did not want to talk about Mr. Rendi again.

For the last hour lecture material, the lessons taught relate to the material taught by Mr. Rendi. The teaching lecturer today asked Mr. Rendi to prepare a copy of the material for the students in Faya's class. Because Mr. Rendi has come home today, he asked one of the students to go to his place and take the materials he asked for and copy a number of students in this class.

Either coincidentally or on purpose, he appoints Faya to perform this task. Faya tries to resist but the lecturer who teaches feels that only he is trusted. Finally inevitably Faya must accept it.

After college, Faya could not go straight home and went to Pak Rendi's contract. She invites Diana to accompany her but Diana refuses. Some of his classmates were also invited to go there but they also refused for various reasons. Faya had to go there on his own.

'I felt like I was being trapped by the circumstances. My refusal means nothing. Mr. Jaya still asked me to go to see Mr. Rendi and ask for a task from him. Ah, there is no point in me complaining, anyway the result will also remain the same.' Faya chose to be quiet.

During the lesson he did not concentrate and only thought about his embarrassment. When I met him, Faya threw away her face. And then suddenly he had to come to his contract for a purpose. Faya felt like she was being played with by the circumstances.

Time passed by so quickly, the school hours were over. All the students who had one class with him went back to their homes. Faya tried to ask one of them not to cause slander. He does not want to be gossiped about because he visited the place of Mr. Rendi.

Seeing his heart-wrenching face, there was finally a friend who was willing to accompany him. He was a student named Revelation. It doesn't matter to Faya that she wants to be the man or the woman that matters that she doesn't go there by herself.

In his car, Wahyu sat in front with Pak Toni while Faya sat in the back. This was the first time he had allowed a man to sit in his car. Before this, Faya had never left with a man.

"Your car is good too, Fay," said Wahyu while on his way.

"This is my father's car. Where do I get the money to buy a car. Neither has work," said Faya low.

Revelation nodded.

"But having parents is yours too" said Revelation.

"It could be so." Faya neither denied nor asserted.

At first Mr. Toni thought that the man was Faya's special friend but after hearing them chat, he knew that they were just ordinary friends. Pak Rendi's contract is approximately fifteen minutes from campus. They arrived there not long after the final question of Revelation.

"Right be here, Non, the place?" ask Mr. Toni when reading the big writing in front of Pak Rebdi's boarding house.

"Yes, right, sir. Wait here a minute." Faya opens her car door and asks Revelation to go with her.

They went to the security guard post in front of Pak Rendi's boarding house.

"Good afternoon, sir!" greet the Revelation at the guard.

"Good afternoon, Mom. Can I help you?" ask the security guard.

"We want to meet Mr. Rendi. We're her students. Does Mr Rendi exist, sir?" ask Revelation.

"It seems there is, Mas. I'll call you for a minute."

The security guard with the name of Edi went away from Faya and Revelation. He went into the ranks of the boarding houses who do not know how many in number. Revelation and Faya are waiting for him outside the fence because the door has not been opened. Looks like the security at this boarding house is tight enough that it doesn't let just anyone get in there.

After waiting for a while, Edi's security guard returned with Mr. Rendi who had brought a piece of paper. It seems that Jaya had contacted him before and informed them of their arrival. Faya was relieved because she did not need to linger there.

"This is the task that Mr. Jaya asked for. Do not forget in the coffee photo, yes," said Mr. Rendi gave a message to them.

"Good, sir." Revelation accepted the paper while Faya remained silent.

Mr. Rendi gave him a quick look. His gaze this time was slightly different from seeing Faya go with a man. He thinks that Revelation is his special friend.

"What do you want to go in first, go home?" ask Mr. Rendi while looking at Faya and Revelation alternately.

"How, Fay? I'm thirsty." Yeah." Revelation makes it happen.

"We'll just go home, sir. Thanks though. Assalamu'alaikum." Faya leaves Revelation that does not move from its place.

"Wa'alaikum greetings," replied Mr. Rendi.

Forced Revelation soon followed Faya because it did not want to be left here. They must go to the nearest coffee photo to copy the task that Revelation brings. Faya does not care about the pouting face of Revelation because she hastily invites him to go home.

"Later at the coffee spot I'll buy you a drink. Want the same refrigerator can also be," said Faya when they were in the car.

"The problem isn't that, Fay. I want to know what the cost of Rendi sir is. I think it's great. There's a girl, isn't there?" Revelation is getting more and more out.

Faya shakes.

Mr. Toni stopped the car they were driving in front of a sizable coffee photo kiosk in the area. Wahyu and Faya get out of his car and go in line. As promised, Faya asks Revelation to take as many drinks as she wants.

This opportunity is not wasted by Revelation. He actually took as many drinks and ice cream as he wanted. However, that was no problem for Faya.

"You pay for the coffee pictures. Here'smoney. I'll just wait in the car." Faya gave out several sheets of money hundreds of thousands. It was more than enough to pay all the bills.

The Revelation is glad to see a lot of money from Faya. He just found out that Faya is actually very rich. During this time he and his friends were fooled by the appearance of Faya who looked very simple.

"It's over, Nope?" ask Mr. Toni to Faya.

"No, Sir. I told my waiting friends. I'm lazy to sit there with a lot of people." Faya chose to wait in the car while sitting down to relax.

Not long after, Revelation came and handed over the task to Faya.

"You used the change to take the ojek. I'm gonna rush home. Thanks for the nemenin." Faya doesn't want to take Revelation home to her house somewhere. This alone he would already be very late arriving at his house.

"Ready, Boss! Thanks aye!" Revelation looked very happy because the change from the coffee photo was more than what was used to pay. The house is not too far from the place and it only takes ten thousand to ride a motorcycle.

"Together." Faya immediately closed the windshield and asked Mr. Toni to run it immediately.

In Affan's office, by,

After lunchtime, Affan and Bimo must attend the inauguration of his best friend's multipurpose building that has been completed. They are present as important invited guests who are specially invited. Affan could not refuse the invitation and was willing to shift another schedule for the sake of Mr. Aan, his best friend.

"Hopefully we can get there in time" Affan said as he was en route.

"It can, Boss. After hours of rest the road does not get stuck. We can get there in less than thirty minutes" Bimo thought.

"Hopefully."

The car they were driving did go smoothly to the location. Exactly as Bimo expected, they were up to less than half an hour. The event has not yet begun but there are many important guests who visit there.

Mr. Aan asked Affan and Bimo to sit in the front seat. They sat down together with the mayor and several other dignitaries. Soon the event will start so that Affan does not talk much anymore.

Affan opened the message on his phone. He received several important files and messages from clients. Because too focused on his phone dis did not see when Pak Aan came to him with his only daughter puppet.

Bimo pats Affan's arm slowly to tell about the arrival of Pak Aan and his daughter to Affan. Affan immediately saved his phone and looked at Mr. Aan. He was very surprised when he saw the woman who was walking with his business partner.

Not only Affan, the woman was surprised to find out that the man she met last night was her father's business partner. He looked very embarrassed and tried to hide his face. However, Affan already recognized him as a person who had insulted his wife.

"Sorry, Mr. Aan I suddenly have a sudden interest. I'm sorry I can't keep up with this show until it's over" Affan said, holding back from emotions.

"Kog, all of a sudden, sir?" asked Mr. Aan looked confused.

Bimo felt that something was wrong with his Boss. Previously he was so excited to come to this event but suddenly he wanted to leave as soon as possible. He then observes the circumstances around him and looks for the cause of Affan's sudden strangeness.

"Didn't you like Mr. Aan's daughter, Boss?" whispered Bimo as Pak Aan was answering another guest's question.

"Can say that. He's very disrespectful. Last night he insulted my wife" Affan explained and left.

Bimo is not tasty and has no other reason to go from there. He had to stay and attend the event until it was over. She looks like a chick who lost her mother when Affan left first.

'Huft! I don't know what to do. Never mind, I just enjoy the show.' Bimo does not want to bother anymore with the departure of Affan. He also attended the inauguration ceremony until it was finished.

"Wait, Mr Bimo! There's something I want to ask you after this," said Mr. Aan when he saw that Bimo was leaving with other guests.

"Good, sir." Bimo sat back down.

After Mr. Aan finished driving his guests home, he came to Bimo. His face looks serious. He has been friends with Affan for so long that he knows a lot about his qualities.

"Sir Bimo, please answer honestly. Do you know what caused Mr. Affan to suddenly walk away from this event?" ask Mr. Aan.

Bimo looks confused to answer what. On one hand he wanted to be honest with Mr. Aan but on the other he was afraid that his words would offend him. He seemed misbehaved and confused as to what to say.

"Sorry, Sir. I hope you're not offended if I tell you what I know. I don't mean to offend you, really." Bimo still hesitates to tell the reason Affan suddenly left from there.

"No, Sir. I-i promise. I will not offend or blame anyone. I have been friends with Mr. Affan for a long time. I don't want to lose a business partner as good as him" said Mr. Aan.

Bimo nodded while adjusting his breath before telling a story.

"Look sir, it's about your daughter, Laura. Last night he met Mr. Affan and his family. Sorry, yes, sir, I'm so sorry. Mr. Affan said that Mr. Aan's daughter had insulted his wife." Bimo was doubtful whether Mr. Aan would abuse his daughter or scold her.

Mr. Aan was quite shocked by the news given by Bimo. He looks like he's weighing. It was hard to believe that her beloved daughter did that. But he also knew that Affan was also unlikely to make it up.
