Chapter 42. Saddening Event

Aira sat on the porch of her house while waiting for Affan's return. That afternoon the weather was pretty clear. The pink style she wore made her look very beautiful.

"Ma! Mama!" call Faya from the house.

From his voice he walked from the direction of Aira's room then walked into the living room.

Aira got up from her seat and walked towards the door.

"I'm here, Faya," replied Aira.

After hearing Aira's voice, Faya immediately approached her. He stepped in with a half tiptoed while smiling. Her round eyes twitched making her look so adorable.

"My feeling is bad, yeah. Usually if your attitude is strange like this there must be a desire," said Aira pretending to frown.

"Hahaha .. mama memorized it right, anyway, um, yes, I have a wish. But relax .. I just want to ask for your help, Ma." Faya grimaced to show off her white teeth.

The clock on Aira's phone shows three o'clock over forty-five minutes. Usually Affan comes home around four in the afternoon. If they leave now, Aira can't welcome Affan home.

Every day she always welcomes him at home and does her routine as a wife. However, Aira also could not ignore Faya's request. He did not want to disappoint the daughter and her best friend.

"I know you'll be home soon, I'll just ask you a little while ahead. At least ten minutes. Promise!" Faya raised her hand and showed her two fingers.

Aira shook her head and looked at Faya anxiously.

"Alright, come!" Aira finally followed Faya's will.

"Yee! Thank you, Mama. I love you!" Faya gave a kiss on Aira's cheek and then put her hand on her shoulder.

Bi Sumi who saw the familiarity of the two also felt his happiness. Before Aira was there, she always saw Faya was always moody and lonely. Affan loves him very much but his great responsibility makes him have to work and cannot always give his time to Faya.

The atmosphere in the house became increasingly colorful and harmonious with the existence of Aira. Bi Sumi was grateful because what her master married was not Amanda who looked good but had a judes face.

The security guard at Affan's house opened the gate for his two employers and closed it again after the two left. In his heart he wondered what they were for. Usually Faya would ask him to do something.

"What's up, Faya? Tumben you're taking me for a walk out of the house?" ask Aira.

The feeling is not good. No matter what he was thinking, he felt uncomfortable being outside the house without Affan.

"Yes, Mang Ujang same Bi Sumi where know about fern plants." Aira followed Faya who was crouched pulling out the nail plants in between the rocks.

Faya felt very happy because he finally got the task he had to carry tomorrow. The two then walked towards the gate of their house. Aira was relieved that Affan had not yet returned home.

As the two were about to reach the fence suddenly a car stopped near them. Without feeling suspicious Aira and Faya stopped and waited for the owner of the car to come out. They think the car owner wants to ask for the home address.

One of the passengers opened the phone and looked at each other and nodded. They then push Faya's body down and forcefully pull Aira and bring her into the car.

Aira couldn't scream because her mouth was fixed. Only Faya screamed for help while crying in fear.

The security guard at his house ran out and walked up to him. He tried to chase the car but of course lost quickly. Mang Udin, the security guard finally gave up and stopped while holding his knee.

From the opposite direction Affan's car came and stopped when he saw Mang Udin there.

Affan opened his window glass and looked in wonder at his house security guard who looked as if running away was walking towards him.

"Assalamu'alaikum, Mang Udin" Affan said.

"Wa'alaikum greetings, sir. Nawat, Mister, drugging. Madam Aira, Mister," said Mang Udin with a gasping breath.

Affan's face immediately became pias when he saw the panic on Mang Udin's face. Moreover, he mentioned the name of Aira in his words.

"Please say it clearly, Mang!" affan's exclaim calmed Mang Udin down to speak clearly.

The driver who took Affan's car down from his seat then came to Mang Udin and gave him a bottle of mineral water.

In the distance, Faya runs crying to her father's car. His clothes looked very dirty from falling on the ground when pushed by the man who kidnapped Aira.

Affan got out of his car and waited for his daughter to arrive.

'Astaghfirullah! What happened to Aira, O God. Please protect him, O Allah.' Affan tried to calm down even though his mind was in a mess.
