Hamzah bin Abdul Muttalib and Ali bin Abu Talib.
Because of the extraordinary courage he showed and deployed, the Muslims won victory in the battle of Badr.
There were many casualties on the part of the disbelievers of Quraysh during the battle of Badr.
Therefore, they felt they had to avenge the defeat that had occurred by gathering strength and preparing for the next war.
After the Battle of Badr, Hamzah Qattan ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ was again involved in the war between the Muslims and the infidels of the Quraysh, the battle of Uhud.
In this war, the Quraish who were determined to take revenge made the Prophet ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ and Hamzah bin Abdul Muttalib ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ as the main target.
In this battle, the Quraysh brought a total of more than 3,000 troops. The army included 700 camels, 200 cavalry, as well as archers and infantry.
While the total Muslim forces amounted to about 1000 combined people from the Muslims in Medina.
The Muslim army led directly by the Prophet Muhammad ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ This was met by the opposing forces near the jabal Uhud.
During the war, several Muslim armies led by Hamzah ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ were in the middle and attacked the enemy to the right and left.
When the victory was near, the Prophet ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ P.F.i.t ordered the archers to stay on the Mount Uhud.
But they did not obey him and came down to take the spoils of war and this became a turning point.
The Quraysh realized this loose defense and immediately counter-attacked by occupying the hill and launching an attack from the top of Uhud.
After that, Hamzah ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ harshly martyred in the battle of Uhud by a spear thrown by a slave named Wahshi.
The death of Hamzah bin Abdul Muttalib ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ What a legend.
There is a deep story behind the death of him ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ that later became one of the legends.
Because it has its own story behind its martyrdom, this is a summary of the events that led to the death of Hamzah ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ is remembered by so many Muslims.
This story begins during the war Badr, Hamzah ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ who was so brave and savage to fight the infidels of Quraysh when it managed to paralyze Thu’aimah bin Adi to death.
Meanwhile, Thu’aimah's death inflicts a deep wound on his nephew, Wahshi
Of course there are still many other Quraysh who died during the war, including Utbah bin Rabi’ah and Syaibah bin Rabi’ah who is the father and uncle of Hindun bint Utbah.
Al-Walid bin Utbah, the brother of Hind, also died in battle at the hands of Ali bin Abi Thalib.
It was the death of some of the Quraysh that created such grudges for some that they really wanted to kill Hamzah ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ for revenge.
Abu Sufyan ibn Harb, who was at that time leading the Quraish forces in the battle of Uhud, decided to make the women also participate in the war.
These women were made up of those who were hurt by the death of their families in the previous war, the battle of Badr.
As the Quraish troops were about to depart, Jubair told Wahshi that he would free him from slavery as long as he could kill Hamzah. With the assurance that this promise has been witnessed by many, Wahshi is increasingly determined to kill Hamzah.
Despite not having good enough fighting skills, Wahsyi was known to be very good at throwing javelins on target.
Therefore, Hindun put his hope in him and told Wahshi to heal their heart wounds for the departure of the family on the battlefield.
As the two sides met and fought, Wahshi carefully searched and targeted Hamzah.
It is not difficult to recognize it among many people because at the head of Hamzah ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ always attached ostrich feathers are usually a sign of heroism in Arabia at that time.
Wahshi who hid behind a rock saw Hamza so valiantly come forward and knock down his opponents by slashing a sword.
Meanwhile, suddenly a horseman named Siba’ bin Abdul Uzza challenged Hamzah ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ to allow Wahshi to attack him.
Of course Hamzah ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ welcomed Siba’ and immediately defeated him with a single slash. Even so the sacrifice of this Siba’ makes Hamzah position ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ affordable Wahsyi.
He immediately aimed his right spear at Hamzah ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ bottom until it penetrated forward.
When the war was over, Hindun went down to the battlefield and searched for the lifeless body of Hamzah bin Abdul Muttalib.
Because so hate, Hamzah heart taken ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ then chewed even though it was not swallowed and regurgitated.
The death of Hamza ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ) lowered his words in QS. An-Nahl verse 126 to perpetuate the death of the Apostle's uncle. Because of that courage, Hamzah ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ Allah' was also dubbed as 'Asadullah' or 'Lion of Allah'.
The sound of the Surah is as follows;
Latin: "Wa in 'aqabtum fa 'aqibekak bimieli ma'akqibtum bih, wa la`in isabartum lahuwa khairul li-sabirin."
It means: "And if you give a recompense, then recompense it with the same recompense as the torment inflicted upon you. But if you are patient, it is better for those who are patient."
