Faintly Ashma heard the voice of Adhan reverberating from his cell phone. The eyes are still heavy that now feel light because Ashma has been awakened from sleep, he tried to wake up but someone's hand feels on his stomach, Ashma, Ashma turned to her side and found Adam sleeping so peacefully.
Ashma was so amazed to see the handsome face of her husband, she did not expect to marry a stranger, bule anyway. Her plump eyelashes tempt Ashma to touch her but before that happens Ashma soon realizes. Better Ashma immediately rise from his sleep position and wake Adam to perform congregational prayers.
Adam had known Islam for a long time even the man had been good at reading prayers and movements, it seems like Adam learned a lot from Daniel about Islam. Yesterday at the time Maghrib Ashma felt disbelief Adam could simply and smoothly read short letters while performing the congregational Maghrib prayer.
Despite his admiration, Ashma prayed that Adam could always be more familiar with Islam, so that they could both learn to improve themselves and remind each other to reach his riddho.
Staring at the still slumbering Adam, Ashma scanned the soft arm of Adam on his belly, Ashma gently patted Adam's arm. “Adam wake up.. it's dawn, let's pray.” Adam squirmed small but did not wake him up. Ashma whispered in Adam's ear.
“Man Rabbuka?” Ashma deliberately changed her mana into a large round immediately Adam opened his eyelids slowly. The man looked around him while collecting his life. While Ashma giggled amusedly, Adam who realized it immediately pulled Ashma until he fell in Adam's arms.
“Adam what are you doing?” Ashma yelled small because she was surprised suddenly Adam pulled his arm and finally fell in his arms, Ashma more stubborn because Adam wrapped his body, he was above Ashma now.
“You pried me Ashma?” Adam asked in a typical male voice just waking up.
Ashma did not dare to look into Adam's intoxicating eyes.
“No, I just woke you up to pray.” Adam found Ashma's cheeks that met red.
“Really? Didn't you also try to tease me?” Ashma immediately shook her head, little she was now trying to rid herself of Adam's Shackles.
“Adam off..We must immediately perform dawn prayers!” Adam turned his head to the left and found a clock that showed five o'clock ten minutes later he immediately released Ashma. Ashma was able to calm down and breathe with relief as the man let go.
“You're the first to wash.” Adam said, Ashma nodded and rushed to ablution immediately. Adam waited for Ashma while standing by the door with his shoulders leaning, the man seemed to be waiting for his turn in public.
Adam felt Ashma not coming out after ten minutes and knocked on the bathroom door. “Ashma have you finished ablution?”
Ashma who heard Adam ask felt even more riled up, he was confused as to how to tell Adam that he had a moon guest and was confused as to how to ask Adam to bring him a pad in his little bag.
However Ashma had no other choice, by gathering Ashma's courage to slowly open the bathroom door, Ashma only opened it in half.
Adam found Ashma's face was still reddened, Adam was confused actually the woman why, did he have a fever? Adam was suddenly worried.
“What happened to you?”Adam asked, Ashma nodded slowly.
“A-Adam bo-let me ask for your help?” Ashma's great-grandson.
Adam immediately nodded, "Say Ashma what do you need help with?”
"That's-emh.Can you get me a sanitary pad in my little bag. I'm sorry Adam because I've suddenly had a moon guest and I can't get out with my condition,” Ashma said quickly. Adam for a while still digested Ashma's speech before he understood it.
“Ba-okay.”
The man immediately rushed to pick up a sanitary pad for Ashma and after being able he immediately gave it to Ashma. Ashma immediately took it with great embarrassment.
“Te-thanks Adam.” Adam just nodded.
“Then I will be sanctified elsewhere.” Ashma nodded and Adam immediately rushed out of his room. Ashma in the bathroom smacked her cheeks, how shy Ashma was, it felt like Ashma wanted to drown herself because she was so embarrassed if she had to see Adam again.
“I have to put what face on her? Hua.l..."
...•••...
In the morning, Ashma was in the kitchen preparing breakfast. Aunt Marianee who saw it immediately reprimanded Ashma because the service was in charge of preparing food.
"Ashma what are you doing?"
Ashma smiled slightly. "This is my duty Ma as a wife, I have to prepare breakfast for my husband." Ashma said as she continued her activities in the kitchen.
Aunt Marianee smiled gently. "Dear dear mama understand but how better you wait for mama to prepare breakfast." Ashma turned around and approached Aunt Marianee then she held her palm.
Aunt Marianee smiled warmly and felt touched by Ashma's words. She hugged Ashma affectionately.
"Ashma, you are a very good wife. I am proud to see you trying to carry out your duties and responsibilities lovingly with your husband. But remember that we are all here to help each other. I'll always be there to help you if you need it."
Ashma smiles and feels relieved to get support from aunt Marianee. They continued their breakfast preparation with happiness and familiarity. Ashma feels lucky to have aunt Marianee.
After her breakfast was finished, Ashma went upstairs to call Adam, Amith's grandmother and uncle. When he arrived at Adam's office, Ashma hesitated to knock on the door, she was still embarrassed by the incident at dawn but Ashma tried to gather courage and knocked on Adam's study.
Adam from inside who heard the sound of a knock then let someone in. Ashma opened the door slowly and found Adam, who was focusing on looking at his laptop screen, wearing glasses and looking masculine in Ashma's eyes.
“What's up?” Adam asked a glance at Ashma then his gaze was fixed on the laptop again.
“I've made breakfast for you, let's eat Together.”
Adam removed his glasses while closing the laptop. The man's gaze now became sharp. “Who allowed you to make breakfast for me?” Ashma scrunched her forehead feeling confused.
“What's wrong with me making you breakfast, I'm your wife Adam,” Adam rubbed his face rough.
“That's the duty of Ashma's servant, you don't bother to do such a thing!” Ashma was very unhappy when Adam said such a thing to her.
“Creating breakfast for husband himself is it the duty of the waiter, so your wife is me or the waiter?” Ashma protest is upset.
Adam took a breath. “As far as you are Ashma, we better get down.” Adam gave up, he did not want to argue with Ashma.
At the dinner table there were already Amith's grandmother and uncle waiting for Ashma and Adam to sit down at the dinner table.
Ashma scoops the fried rice into Adam's plate. Adam smiled faintly, it feels like he had not eaten fried rice for a long time when Adam had a job in Indonesia Adam would always eat fried rice as his favorite food there.
“My nephew is good at cooking, and uncle is lucky to be able to taste Indonesian cuisine again here, it is very tasty.” Uncle Amith said as he chewed his food.
Ashma smiled shyly as uncle Amith praised his cooking. “Ashma is still learning uncle, this is not as good as Mother.” Ashma said unconsciously and his face immediately turned sad, Adam saw the change in the look of Ashma's face. Adam thinks Ashma is missing her mother.
Grandma holds Ashma's shoulder. “Nah now Ashma should also eat.” Ashma nodded in understanding and she started to catch up with the others to eat her homemade fried rice.
After that there was only the sound of spoons clanking with plates, they focused on their respective food. Uncle Amith who had finished first then had something to talk about.
“Ashma, Adam.” Uncle Amith's daughter, they both turned.
“Overnight we have decided to immediately return to Palestine.” Ashma and Adam looked at each other after hearing the words of Amith's uncle.
Ashma understood the condition, so he had to give up his uncle and grandmother to return to Palestine even though it felt very heavy. But on the other hand Ashma was relieved to remember the danger that would come to him and Ashma did not want his grandmother and uncle involved, just Ashma who had been involved in Adam's problem.
“We understand that. I will also take you home to Palestine safely.” Adam said, uncle Amith shook his head slowly.
“No Adam, you better not take us all the way to Palestine. It's so far away and I don't want you to leave Ashma.” Refuse uncle Amith subtly.
Ashma directly chimed in gently. “No uncle. Adam was right, anyway Ashma wants you to go home with Adam.” Uncle Adam did not refuse anymore, Ashma heaved a sigh of relief.
One week is not enough time for Ashma to give up longing with her grandmother but what can be done if circumstances force them to separate again. Ashma always prayed for good, health, and safety for her grandmother and uncle in Palestine, hope always in the protection of Allah.
After they finished with breakfast Ashma rushed to clean the dining table but was stopped by Adam.
"Let the waiter go, you come with me upstairs." Adam said a little sternly, Amith's grandmother and uncle chuckled at him.
"Go Ashma with your husband, obey him." Grandma added, Ashma could only nod her head resignedly.
Grandma and uncle Amith also entered their rooms because they had to pack their belongings, this afternoon they will soon return to Palestine.
