A Little Hope For Ashma
8. Asshma's husband

Ashma looked at the dim night sky with great admiration. He saw snow falling heavily, creating a beautiful scene. This kind of abundant snow is quite common in this red bear country.

"Subhanallah." Ashma was greatly amazed by his greatness.

"Destiny brought me to this place, it turns out that to what extent I planned, God had his choice." Ashma said, although she still feels anxious about things that lately disturb her mind but Ashma believes that God will never leave her alone.

Amidst his cool staring at the snowy sky suddenly Ashma's phone rang and Ashma was quite surprised to see the name of the doctor Halifa listed on his phone call, Ashma quickly raised a call from the doctor Halifa. Ashma had glanced at Adam who was focusing on his cellphone, he sat down with his henchman on the sofa because he was still waiting for an answer from Ashma about marriage after one week Ashma considered answering Adam's offer.

"Assalamualaikum, Doctor Halifa." said Ashma with gentleness.

"Guilandmausalam, Ashma. Sorry to interrupt your time. I want to talk seriously with you As." Ashma felt bad thinking because she heard the voice of the doctor Halifa vibrating.

"What's up, Doctor? Is there a problem?"

Doctor Halifa was heard sighing heavily, Ashma further strengthened her behavior. "Ashma please answer honestly," Halifa's doctor said in a trembling voice.

"Are you...I-I love Doctor Gilang?" Ashma had expected it, something must have gone wrong with Halifa's doctor. Ashma is confused as to how to explain to Halifa's doctor. On the other hand Ashma still put his heart on the doctor Gilang, but on the other hand he did not want to hurt the doctor Halifa. Also Ashma's head is very anxious because Adam messed with Ashma's thoughts about marriage.

"Ashma... Why are you silent? Is it really like that?"

Ashma could not tell the truth, because she was sure that Dr. Halifa would be even more hurt when she heard it. "Doctor why say such a thing?"

"Ashma...please answer me honestly, yes or no?!" Halifa's doctor demanded an answer while Ashma was distressed by the question.

Ashma carefully tried to answer him. "No doctor, I don't have any feelings for Doctor Gilang. This is my answer, but I also want to ask the doctor, why is the doctor asking me about something like this?"

"Ashma..." Doctor Halifa sobbed slowly. "Doctor Gilang this morning told me his true feelings that he had no feelings for Ashma...He frankly says that he loves you. My heart is broken and our marriage is just a few days away."

Ashma had expected it, then what should she say to Halifa's doctor. This is what Ashma feared. "Doctor Halifa, I don't know what to say" Ashma said in a trembling voice. "I really don't know how Dr. Gilang feels. I'm sorry if it's like this." Ashma again lies, but Ashma knows and hears herself that Gilang's doctor expressed his feelings last time by phone.

"I know it's because doctor Gilang also said it like that, but Ashma it feels like my heart is broken I'm really confused what to do, do I have to cancel my marriage with doctor Gilang?" Ashma really didn't want to hear that happen.

"No doctor, no. I beg you. Just Gini, I'll talk to doctor Gilang. Besides that..." Ashma turned and looked at Adam who was both looking at Ashma not far from his place, he pulled his eyebrows.

"You should also know that I am getting married soon, so I decided to resign and choose to settle in the land of people because I will soon marry the man I love." From there the doctor Halifa was surprised, it turns out this is the reason the beautiful nurse of Palestinian blood resigned from her job.

While Adam looked at him stunned with his hands that had crossed his chest. Ashma suddenly says she is going to marry the person she loves so Adam can come to the conclusion that Ashma agreed with the marriage offer Adam made to her.

"You're getting married?" Ask Halifa doctor once again to make sure.

"Yes doctor, I was very surprised to hear this news. I beg doctor Halifa please don't cancel your marriage just because of me."

"But she loves you Ashma, I can't hold back someone who feels for someone else." Ashma is very frustrated, Ashma does not want to ruin their marriage.

Doctor Halifa was still speechless, digesting Ashma's words. He knew that this situation was very difficult for Ashma as well. After a while, Halifa's doctor finally said in a weak voice, "Alright, Ashma."

Ashma was saddened to hear the suffering felt by Halifa's doctor. He felt guilty because he was the cause of doctor Halifa's suffering.

After Ashma ended her treatment with Halifa, she immediately sought contact with Gilang's doctor but an idea suddenly crossed her head. Although this idea is a form of agreement, Ashma will try to save the marriage that will be carried out by doctors Gilang and Halifa in a few days.

Adam, the man had gone up from earlier on the upper floor probably because Ashma who had a little chat with the doctor Halifa so it makes Adam tired of waiting for answers from him.

Ashma went out of the room to go to Adam's room, and now she's more careful that last night's events will repeat themselves.

"Adam..." Ashma called out to Adam after no response as she knocked on his door for several times. Not long after that Adam's bedroom door opened and the man's face looked sleepy.

"What's wrong?" Adam asked in a hoarse voice.

"Em-it... There's something I want to talk about." Adam scrunched up one eyebrow.

"I don't think you're going to give me the answer right now,"

Ashma twisted the tip of her hijab out of doubt as well. Adam sighed, and asked Ashma to speak in a more comfortable place.

To be honest Ashma was a little unfocused because the man was wearing a sleeping kimono, it made his good looks very much doubled and Ashma was hypocritical not to admit it, but the conscious Ashma quickly cut off his eye contact with Adam.

"Usually you cursing me fluently but why stutter now?" Ashma was so embarrassed, the man did not let her suck it up again.

"I received a marriage-related offer you made a week ago." Finally Ashma said it straightforwardly without stammering again. Adam expected it.

"Are you serious?" adam asked with an incredulous face.

Adam looked up at the ceiling of his mansion, he did that so as not to be enchanted at Ashma. Although it is very unlikely because of her feelings and love only for Lily.

"Explain specifically what is the reason behind this acceptance because I also think I don't want to force someone?"

Ashma admits that Adam is good at reading his gels. "It looks like you're a psychology graduate who's-you're good at reading people's minds."

Adam giggled amusedly, maybe Adam used to want to choose that department while in college, but it did not.

"Not necessarily majoring in psychology, I was born with this kind of talent." His words were still tickled.

"No more joking. Explain why!" Adam is serious.

"I want you to help me call someone and say you're my future husband. We're getting married soon."

Adam raised his eyebrows, look at Ashma to the point of asking him to do so and the reason was very unexpected but he did not care much.

"All right." Adam agreed.

Ashma looks for someone's contact and she contacts him, Ashma really doesn't think his call will be picked up as soon as it's picked up by Gilang's doctor.

"Assynogaic Ashma..." The voice of Doctor Gilang sounded very enthusiastic and honestly Ashma felt this way when he heard the voice of Doctor Gilang but remembering doctor Halifa made him remember his purpose again.

"Waalaikumsalam.. doctor may I speak with the doctor for a while?"

Returning to Ashma, she continued her conversation with doctor Gilang on the phone. "Of course Ashma." Doctor Gilang said from there.

Ashma was straightforward, she wanted Dr. Gilang to understand. "Doc...I just want to make it clear to the doctor that I don't have any feelings for the doctor. Please underline doc."

"And my question..why does the doctor hurt the feelings of Dr. Halifa?"

Doctor Gilang seemed silent for a moment, then he replied seriously, "Because I don't love Ashma, I can't lie to my feelings that would hurt her even more if not frankly."

"I understand that. But doctors not only hurt Halifa's feelings, they're going to hurt both sides' entire families." Ashma tried to give understanding to doctor Gilang.

"Then what about my feelings Ash?" There was a moment of silence in the middle of the phone.

"Dok, fix everything. One thing that doctor Gilang should know, I. will soon marry the man I love." Doctor Gilang was surprised, his heart was hurting. Adam shakes a little.

"You lied to Ashma" asked Dr Gilang to confirm.

"I'll prove it."

Ashma gave Adam a code to get closer to him.

"Please convince someone who's on this phone if we're getting married soon." Ashma whispers. Adam understood and he took the phone from Ashma's hand and brought it closer to his ear.

"Hallo.." Gilang's doctor fell silent as Ashma's voice changed with the heavy voice of a man.

"Who are you?" Ask Dr. Gilang from behind the phone.

"Ashma future husband," he said in English but after continuing in Indonesian, Adam was very fluent.

"Ashma told me to let you forget it."

Doctor Gilang tightened his jaw. "Why am I not sure Ashma loves you."

Adam smiled cynically. "I don't need your trust." Gilang's doctor disliked Adam's arrogant tone.

"I didn't expect Ashma to marry an arrogant man like you" said doctor Gilang sarcasm.

Adam again did not care about the words of Dr. Gilang. "And I don't care about your judgment either. I just want you to stop contacting my future wife, this is the first and last warning for you."

Adam immediately pressed the red button, he turned off the phone connection with the man who liked his future wife.

"Adam why is it shut down?" Ashma was a little dislikeful when Adam suddenly switched off his phone.

Adam looked at Ashma coldly. "Everything is clear, so why linger talking to the man who likes you." Adam rushes away after returning Ashma's phone, the man's look is somehow upset.

Ashma also later did not intend to contact Gilang again, but Gilang's doctor continued to call him. Ashma did not want to lift it again because she felt it was enough to explain to doctor Gilang. Ashma also hopes Gilang's doctor can understand and re-improve his relationship with Halifa's doctor.

Ashma also still did not expect to receive an offer of marriage from Adam, even though she had thought well and asked God for guidance in a third of the night, and he received Adam's proposal in response in the third of the night.

I don't know what makes his heart so sure but Ashma is more sure of God's destiny.
