Ashma is fascinated to see the grandeur of Adam's mansion which looks like a palace. He never expected Adam to be so rich. However, even so, Ashma still felt uncomfortable. His mind was only on his desire to go home and meet his grandmother in Palestine. She feels trapped in a foreign country with a man she doesn't know.
Adam orders his assistant to drive Ashma into the mansion while Adam has to rush off again to clear up a crucial problem.
"Go inside and get some rest, if you need help, just call aunt Marianee her my mom,"
"Then you're going again?" Adam nodded. Ashma did not stop thinking, the man seemed to have a lot of stamina when they had just arrived from a long journey. This adds to the mystery behind Adam.
As Adam left quickly with his two bodyguards, Ashma was worried. Ashma does not know exactly who Adam is and what is going on around him. His mind was filled with possibilities, ranging from Adam as a criminal, mobster, or even worse. This uncertainty makes Ashma's head feel like it wants to explode just by thinking about it.
Ashma feels trapped in a cycle of uncertainty and anxiety. He hopes to find answers soon and solve his problems, so that he can return to Palestine and meet his grandmother.
A middle-aged woman came to Ashma, the woman looked coldly seen, Ashma smiled faintly.
"Good day Miss. Introduce me Marianee, well please come in." He introduced himself very kindly to little smiling Ashma, so she referred to Adam as her mother.
"Good day aunt Marianee, ah no need to call me Miss. You're Adam's mother, I'm being disrespectful." Obviously Ashma, he felt bad.
"I'm Ashma em-it's Adam's friend." As she continued, Ashma hesitated to say that Adam was her friend.
Aunt Marianne smiled warmly. "For God's sake you're so beautiful as well as someone's," Ashma chuckled lightly, she felt ashamed that aunt Marianne praised her.
"Thank bi. Aunt Anne's so funny I remember my grandmother."
"You miss him so much, don't you?" Aunt Anne seems sensitive to Ashma who is missing her grandmother.
"Very."
"Hopefully you can immediately let go of longing with your grandmother, beautiful girl." Ashma.
"Well now I'll take you to rest."
Ashma nodded, following Aunt Marianee towards the room she had prepared for her. The room was comfortable and warm, making her feel at home. Aunt Marianee deftly arranged the bed.
"Now, you can rest for a while, Ashma. If there's anything you need, don't hesitate to call me," aunt Marianee said with a smile.
"Thank you, aunt. I will rest for a while," Ashma said with a sigh of relief. After a short talk with aunt Marianee, her awkwardness was slightly lost.
Ashma sat on the edge of the bed, staring at the window that gave a beautiful view to the back garden. He thought back to his grandmother, who always gave affection and valuable lessons in his life. Her grandmother was the one she had missed so much since the passing of her Father and Mother.
In the silence of the room, Ashma muses about the togetherness they spent together. Sweet memories and valuable lessons from her grandmother make Ashma feel a little better. He hopes to meet her again someday.
...•••...
The sound of gunfire was so loud that inside an uninhabited old building, Adam chased after two men who had fled. He tried to chase them quickly through the dark and dusty passageways. Darkness covered every corner of the building. Only the faint light from the moonlight that entered through the broken windows was visible.
With steady strides and steady hands, Adam continued to chase after the two men running in front of him. Despite the darkness surrounding the building, Adam was used to this kind of situation. He is a person who is trained in dealing with challenges and is not easily affected by fear.
With each step he took, the dust flew into the air, creating a trail of fog that lifted up from the dirty floor. Adam continued to move forward, with his gaze remaining focused on his target. The sound of their footsteps filled the dark silence in the building.
Amidst the tension hanging in the air, Adam tried to maintain his composure. His mind focused on pursuit strategy and how he could approach his target quickly. At the same time, he hoped that the faint glow from the moonlight would help him track their movements.
Instantly, another shot rang out from a distance, giving the certainty that Adam was getting closer to them. It tightens its pace, getting closer to its prey. His sinister presence and not showing the look of a frightened face exuded an intimidating aura.
Finally, Adam saw the two men stopping at the end of the hall. They were trapped, like rats that had entered into a trap. Adam calmly approached them, catching their thumping breath with a sharp gaze.
"Your show ends here" he sighed in a low voice, indicating that he was a merciless predator.
Adam felt relieved after successfully getting the flash. With an excited heart, Adam stepped away from the scene.
However, even though he was pleased with this achievement, there was a slight discomfort haunting him. The violent actions he committed against the two men showed his dark side. Adam realized that he had taken their lives without mercy.
But Adam could not think clearly when he remembered his partner more precisely Adam's comrade who was killed so cruelly.
Adam immediately rushed to return to the mansion. He stepped quickly towards his car and quickly entered the vehicle.
When he arrived at the mansion, Adam saw a bright light from the windows indicating that many people were still awake in it. He opened the entrance carefully and entered the mansion. The calm and luxurious atmosphere within the mansion was different from the unease he felt.
Adam slowly climbed the stairs one by one. His body feels sore and he wants to immediately soak in warm water. When Adam was about to climb the last steps suddenly Ashma who came out of the room was stunned to see Adam's messy state. The man's shirt bled with blood Ashma immediately approached Adam.
"What happened to Adam? Why is your shirt bleeding?" Ashma asked worriedly.
Adam let out a rough sigh, he just remembered that there was a very chatty woman inside his mansion right now.
"I don't seem to have to answer."
Ashma was tired of hearing Adam's answer that always upset her, when what was difficult to stay answered.
"Oh-yeah I forgot you're the one who gets involved with bad people, of course every day you come home with this situation."
"It's a noisy woman"
"His son is a noisy woman, I have a name yes sir remember my name is Ashma."
"Whatever."
Ashma felt like he wanted to make Adam's arrogant face but he tried to stay calm. "Give me your left hand" Even though Ashma was upset half to death but she couldn't see anyone getting hurt in front of her eyes.
Adam looked at Ashma with an indifferent expression, but he stretched out his hand lazily. Ashma took a sterile bandage from the medical bag available in her room and gently wrapped the bloody wound in Adam's hand.
"I'm just trying to help" Ashma said in a soft voice. "I know we don't always agree with each other, but I don't want to see you get hurt."
Adam just nodded but he realized what Ashma had just said. "You mean, don't want to see me hurt?"
Ashma only realized because she was speaking wrongly. "I mean as a nurse I should have the initiative if someone gets hurt in front of my eyes." Adam did not answer again.
Ashma felt a tremor of silence around them, but she decided not to heed it.
Adam, who was amazed by the woman, unconsciously rubbed Ashma's cheeks, as Ashma moved away from her.
"You-What are you doing?" ashma was surprised by Adam's actions.
Adam knew it and was very stupid. He tried to explain with his sudden movement rubbing the woman's cheeks. "I'm sorry, I just thought of my girlfriend who looks a little like you,"
"I didn't mean it that way." Adam continued after that he rushed to his room leaving Ashma confused and worried.
In Adam's room he cursed Ashma. But Adam could not lie, Ashma was indeed very beautiful woman had a different charm that no other woman even by her late lover.
"Stupid. You shouldn't have done such a shameful thing!" Adam hit the wall, his hand hurt and he didn't care. It's just that he's attracted to Ashma because the woman's face is at first glance similar to the person in her past.
