Aster Veren
Episode 138's

- Kalea

My and Nadin's steps came to a halt right in front of the headmaster's room door. We stopped our steps when we heard the commotion inside.

I heard the voice of Father and Papa who were arguing violently with .. Grandfather?

"That ...," muttered Nadin glancing at me.

"Your daughter's fault is that it's been bothering my beloved granddaughter! And it's weird why the kid wasn't in suspension, too?"

"Well! You said what old grandpa? Are your eyes not working properly because of your age? It's clear that the video shows your grandson and his two friends harassing my daughter. How come my daughter is bothering your granddaughter huh?!" Said Dad sounding restraint.

"What video? It could be an edit, right?"

"Do you know what about edits? Obviously it's not an edit. A lot of people are looking too, still want to dodge?" This time I heard Papa's voice sounding so upset after hearing the sound of the table being violently kicked, making me an astonishment.

"Huhu, grandfather .. This hurts so much." Lusy's whining made me open the door in front of me immediately when I heard that annoying voice.

I quickly walked into the principal's room followed by Nadin. Everyone's attention was immediately drawn to our arrival, bringing their debate to a halt.

"Lea, Nadin please come in." Said Justin, whom I have not heard his voice since. I think he hasn't come yet, it turns out that he can't do anything in front of the owner of this academy huh?

My eyes sharpened when I saw Lusy's circus smile, and what was that wound on her cheek? But the next second I immediately understood my situation, even I could see the contents of the woman's head now. Whahuh? Especially if it's not a sneaky thought to trap me with his story.

So sucks!

- That's it

I think my head is going to break now! My mind is massaging my forehead and leaning my body against the back of the work chair I am sitting on right now.

I saw Tomi enter the room with regular steps and a steaming cup of tea in her hand, then put it on my desk.

"What about dad?" Tanyaku later.

"Master ... has calmed down more than ever," he replied sounding doubtful, making me think more.

"You can go." My words made him bow in salute before leaving from before me. And left without a word to say.

I took a deep breath recalling the phone I received from Ansel. He called me in a rage he couldn't hide, then asked me to hand over my phone to Dad.

How surprised I was to hear that person yelling and yelling at me over the phone. His voice was so loud that even I who was standing far away from my father could hear him.

The man shouted for an explanation from the actions of the blind father, turning a blind eye to all the problems his daughter Aster had received.

I've heard lately that the boy has been having a hard time because he continues to be bullied by the woman that the father has arranged for Carel. She must have been very upset that Carel had always been kind to Aster and vented her frustration at Aster.

"... but unfortunately not so. Because my father's position is under pressure. The old man had already made a deal with the father to match up his grandson with Carel and ask for special treatment. And if father doesn't grant it then they can't guarantee rumors about last year's tragedy remain covered ...," I murmured, rethinking my father's conversation with the academy's owner before Aster's birthday was celebrated.

Bringing to mind a year ago when Carel made a fuss by beating up some kids who had already hurt his friend. And dad, he's trying to protect his granddaughter in order to live a quiet life in the dorm. Lately she has also started to acknowledge her granddaughter's abilities.

My mind is completely branched, damn it! I continued in my heart, clucking annoyed at not being able to do anything. I really can't go against dad's decision.

I grabbed a cup of tea in front of me and drank it, hoping to ease my headache a little. But not working as I wanted, especially when I heard Ansel would come home to finish his business with my father.

"That madman won't destroy Alterio's residence right?" I muttered feeling anxious when I remembered his bad nature.

- Ansel

Brak!

I kicked the door of the former head of the Alterio family's study in front of me with all my might. I saw two pairs of eyes looking straight at me with enlarged pupils, looking very surprised by my presence.

Even though I had told my arrival by phone, why did they react like that? Is it because I came by kicking the door? My mind while glancing at the ill-fated door that had been the target of my sense of impiety.

"Ansel, you–" said Ian I don't care, I quickly stepped my two feet toward the old man who was sitting quietly in his chair after I brimmed my foolish thoughts at the fate of the door I kicked a moment ago.

"You want to be hostile to me, Grandpa?" I was full of emphasis, irritated by what I heard in the principal's room.

Old bang–I mean the old man said he had protection from the Alterio family, so he wasn't afraid of my threats that sounded playful in his ears.

His position is lower than mine, but he dared to be rude to me and my daughter just because the academy is famous for being good with its teachers who are famous for being geniuses and have various awards that make the academy even more famous. Then it happens that many outstanding children also choose to attend the academy, making his name even more fragrant.

... but can't you, Grandpa? You have to behave according to your position. Pampering your granddaughter by hiding her mistakes and protecting her two friends is a bad act. My mind remembered the old man's annoying expression.

"Te–calm down Ansel first, we'll talk about it carefully. Sit first!" Ian exclaimed as he grabbed onto my shoulder, making me shake his hand in annoyance.

"I'll explain everything to you, so sit down first." Then he again persuaded me.

"You should have explained it to me!" My grunts tried to hold back my turbulent emotions.

I don't know, I think my body feels really hot right now because it feels so upset and angry at the people who have been bothering my daughter, and I can't do anything as I please without Ian's permission as the current head of the Alterio family.

And this guy was trying to ease my emotions, my mind was meeting Ian.
