After I finished preparing, I immediately went to the courtyard of the house because the others were already waiting for me there. Even Arsel's uncle and father had already joined them.

I heard that my father had just returned from Mr. Alterio's residence, and immediately joined together with Carel and the others when he saw the tent set up in the courtyard of the house. As for Arsel's uncle, he came to pick up Khael who had been staying at my father's house for a long time. But since Khael was not willing to go home yet, so uncle decided to join before bringing Khael back.

"By the way Lea?" I asked because I wanted to make sure of something when I remembered Dean's remark this afternoon.

"Yes?" He answered while glancing at me.

"Did Carel not invite his lover?" Then I did not meet new people around me. Isn't it weird that Carel is planning tonight's event without her lover?

Supposedly in an event like this he also invited his lover to be introduced to friends right? But why didn't I see her with that girl?

"Uhuk! Uhuk uhuk, what are you saying?" Tia asked coughed as she drank the water in her glass, looking so shocked that she was willing.

"Ekhem! that ...," I immediately cleared my throat and tried to find an excuse to answer Tia's question as she felt a cold sweat on my nape.

"I'm sure he's not in a relationship with anyone, it's weird. Is the child secretly in a relationship with someone?" Kalea immediately noticed Carel's figure who looked annoyed along with Teo and Uncle Arsel. As for father, he was already sitting sweetly at the spot that Carel had provided this afternoon while checking his phone screen.

"really? Though I saw him very seriously with his phone this afternoon. Doesn't that mean he's exchanging messages with someone? And again, Dean said Carel needed time to be alone with his girlfriend this afternoon." I again feel confused considering Dean's words, especially when his facial expression is again clearly drawn in my mind.

"He said that?" Tia asked again making me nod steadily.

"Did she say it when she was with you too?" He continued to think hard while watching the meat roasted while Kalea fanned the meat.

"Yes." Yeah." My reply again made her exchange eyes with Kalea, then a smile that I did not know the meaning of was suddenly emanated on the faces of the two of them. I who saw it could only stare at confusion. Looks like something's gonna happen?

"Let me take care of it. You wait here okay." Tia's words made Kalea nod her head with a faint smile, then turned to pay attention to Carel's figure again before she left before me and Kalea.

"What are you guys thinking?" Manya surprised.

Then I turned my head towards Tia who had joined Dean and Sarah. I couldn't hear them because of the laughter of Khael and Yuna. But judging from his expression and atmosphere, it seemed like they were talking seriously? But they also seem to enjoy it, don't I misunderstand?

Did I mistake it? But Dean said it ....

"Calm down, everything's gonna be okay." Say Kalea again while gently grabbing my shoulder and then giving the plate filled with meat to my hand. Is he entertaining me?

"It's ripe, you can eat it with your father there. Isn't this a good chance to get closer to her again?" The next made me look towards the father who was still sitting alone in his place with his blank look. Apparently dad's not playing his phone anymore.

"Must to bother?" I mumbled not understanding his words at all.

"Ekhem, so look ... are you ready to listen to me?" He continued while folding both his hands over his chest with his wide smile before looking at me seriously.

"I've been ready since. Say it!" My grunts started to get upset because Tia kept stalling for time.

"Haha, alright. Here let me whisper something interesting." His words made me shorten the distance between us so that I could hear his whispers more clearly.
