It was 07:45 pm, dinner had just ended and now I was playing in my father's room with Carel.

After picking me up from school and playing music together, the boy clung to me more and continued to bully me.

"Carel?" I said while glancing at him who looks cool with the game on his phone.

"Hem?" He muttered with a faint smile with a focused look on the screen of his phone. Then I saw his right hand begin to touch a cake jar in his arms.

"Haah, forget it," I murmured after sighing tiredly with Carel's hand reaching for the pastry from inside the jar, then he quickly ate the cake in his hand and did not listen to my words.

He was always angry when I ignored him and focused on the book in my hand, but now he ignored me and focused on the game on his phone.

Continue reading it. My mind refocused on the book in my hand and went back to reading it.

"Hey Aster ...." Carel's voice I didn't listen to.

"Aster!" His words again began to act annoying.

Is he tired of playing games? My mind wondered as it took a quick glance and saw him sitting cross-legged watching me who was busy with the book in my hand.

Unknowingly I've been watching him secretly ....

"... Aster, you heard?" Ask to test my patience.

"If it were this way, you wouldn't stop bothering me until I let go of the book in my hands ...." I muttered while glancing at her who was already grinning, looking satisfied when I saw me give up on her.

"What's wrong?" I asked after a tired breath.

"Open your mouth, aaa ....." His words confused me as his right hand thrust the pastry close to my mouth.

"You always forget to eat when you focus on books, so let me treat you while you focus on reading." The next one sounds worried about me.

"But we had dinner last night, I wasn't hungry– either" I was obviously stopped by him who suddenly put the cake in his hand in my mouth.

"Dead of eating what's so hard?!" His grunt while putting the other cake into his mouth.

What the hell? My mind is confused by his behavior.

Shortly after I heard the sound of the door being knocked from outside, I saw it slowly opening and displaying the figures of Tomi's father, grandmother and uncle. They began to walk over to me and Carel was sitting next to each other on the floor.

I just wanted to refocus on reading the book .... My mind while glancing at the thick book in my hand after being satisfied to see Carel who suddenly snagged.

"Young master, it's time we go back–" said Uncle Tomi stopped when he saw the sharp glances from Carel.

"No way!" His words immediately hugged my body from the side, leaving me speechless so surprised at Carel's strange reaction that I had never seen before.

He was lashing out at me again, right? My inner being while watching Carel's irritated expression.

"Ta–but tuan–" said Tomi's uncle cut off.

"Haah... provided you know the boy, my grandson must rest on time–" continued grandmother looks upset after sighing heavily, especially when his words were cut by Carel.

"Bo–bocah?! Who are you calling old granny boy?" Screaming Carel could not accept being called a boy by grandma, he even called grandma as old grandmother and pointed his index finger at grandma.

Whereas previously Carel looked pale when meeting with grandma, but suddenly he became brave like this. Even Tomi's father and uncle look so surprised by Carel's words. Yeah, whatever .. I hope this kid lets go of his embrace immediately.

"Ne–granny old?!" Grandma's words with her thin smile made Carel's hands tighten her embrace even more, I saw her sharp gaze soften and glanced in every direction to avoid eye contact with grandma.

Looks like your courage just vanished after seeing Grandma's gaze. My mind can't tell Carel why I want to laugh now.

"Gt..." My words tried to hold back my laughter, I saw that everyone was already watching me with a confused expression.

"Why you?" Carel asked still hugging my body.

"Nothing." I answered while turning my eyes away from her, and met my father who was already smiling faintly at me.

"You can come back tomorrow Carel," said the father, glancing at Tomi's uncle with a loving expression, "your father has been calling Tomi since late afternoon, you have to go home now." Continue father.

"You don't want to see Tomi in trouble because of you, do you?" Ask grandma to talk.

"Young master ...." Said Tomi's uncle looking hard on the little boy next to me.

In this kind of situation Carel really looks like a child, whereas before he had never behaved like this if in the house of red uncle.

Strangely why did Tomi's uncle turn to Carel? Isn't that upside down?

"... don't want to go home, want to go with Aster!" His words solidly made my patience run out, especially when his cheeks came into contact with my cheeks.

"Go home! You're interrupting my reading time, I know!" I said while glancing at him in annoyance.

"No way!" Rigorously.

After returning from my mother's house, I intend to go to my study. But my steps stopped when I saw the figure of a woman sitting on my living room couch.

"Ah.. I remember!" I muttered as I remembered Hana calling me a few minutes ago.

But he didn't say Wanda was coming. I continued in my heart when I remembered Hana's words on the phone.

"You're home yet?" Said the woman when she saw me walking up to her who was sitting in her place, even the tea cup in her hand was directly placed on the table in front of her.

"Well, are you coming to my house at this hour?" I asked while sitting on the sofa facing him.

"That's .. I want to meet Aster, I heard he's going to move to Singapore with Ansel's sister. So I came here ...." It clearly sounded dubious, especially as he constantly avoided my gaze.

"Those nights?" My question made him a little surprised to see from the look in his eyes that I managed to see.

"It must be Eric who told you right .. yes, I was intent on bringing Aster to Singapore, but I never knew you were close to my niece until you had to come here to see her." I continued while leaning my body against the sofa behind me.

Of course I feel strange to this woman in front of me, however, Wanda never visited my house to meet Aster, unless I asked her to come to check on Aster's condition. He also never wanted to see me since he found out I was betrothed to that complainant woman.

"Huh ... got caught huh?" He muttered after sighing heavily.

"A–what?" I asked not to understand his gaze.

"Actually I came to see you, but I also wanted to meet Aster instead of a lie." It definitely made me gawk and create silence.

"Why do you want to see me?" I asked to break the silence that had filled the living room.

"I've already found the answer," he replied with a serious look, "more precisely, I'll give you my answer." The next thing makes me even more confused.

"Answer?" I ask that I really do not understand his words.

"Looks like you forgot ..," he murmured after sighing tiredly, "alright, I give you time to remember. If you remember, call me and meet me tomorrow at my usual place." Continue while grabbing his small sling bag tucked away on the table.

"A–what do you mean?" I asked along with his body that had risen from his seat.

"It looks like Aster isn't home huh, maybe he's at Aunt Marta's house or Ansel's?" He said with a thin smile at me.

What does he mean? I'm forgetting something? whahuh? what did I forget? what answer does Wanda mean? My mind wonders trying to remember all of my conversations with this woman before me.

"Then I go home now, don't forget! tomorrow at the usual place. Good night ...." It breaks down my daydreams.

"Tu–wait for Wanda!" I shouted unconcerned by her, the woman had already left before me.

"What does he really mean? he deliberately made me unable to sleep all night, huh?" I continued while scratching my head.
