Aster Veren

Aster Veren
Episode 145's

- Carel

"Stop following me!" My exclaim stopped Lusy's footsteps who had been following me since morning.

"I'm just–"

"You want to come in too?" Cut me while glancing at the male toilet door beside me made it freeze on the spot.

"I want–"

"waiting me? Are you crazy?" Cut me up a little bit and raise my voice, "can't you go with your girlfriends? Don't you have any friends? Nah! I think you have two girlfriends, right? Those who hurt Aster, where are they?" I continued to remember the two female figures who were always with Lusy.

"They're still on stand." The answer looks gloomy.

"Then go and help them!" I said as I left her and immediately went into the toilet.

I let out my tired breath when I got away from that woman. I quickly walked to the window and noticed the crowd down there.

The atmosphere of the festival is getting crowded as the day gets darker and the fireworks launch will start right at 08:00 p.m. after all the students and schoolgirls clean up the academy environment. The annual school festival at the academy always lasts for one full day.

Should I jump out? My mind noticed a fairly sturdy tree branch in front of the toilet window.

I don't know, what I'm thinking right now is only apart from that woman. I want to breathe a little relief while going around enjoying the festival which since this morning has been unpleasant.

"... Is it because I'm not with Aster?" I muttered, imagining her cherry figure while touring the festival.

Just now that I was talking, my eyes had already caught his laughing figure walking side by side with the boy. Wh who? Who else if not Sean.

They look happy, don't they? Did the kid not think about my feelings in the least? Does he have no intention of apologizing to me? My mind was wondering again.

Then without wasting any more time, I opened the window before I actually jumped out and hung on the tree branch. Fortunately I was not on the top floor, so my life would not be threatened if I really fell from this height.

"Hap!" Excited reflexes on successfully landing safely using both of my footings.

I trim my slightly tangled clothes and I wipe off a little dust that sticks to my shoulder.

"Where did the boy go?" I said as I watched all the places from where I was standing right now.

I saw that everyone was getting busy with their things when they realized that the time was 07:00 p.m. They look so rushed because they want to immediately go to a place that can see fireworks with a beautiful view.

"It looks like the roof of the academy building and sports field will be filled by them ..," I muttered watching the group of students and schoolgirls who were fixing their belongings.

I felt someone's clap on my shoulder, making me look at him. "Oh!" My grunts when I realize someone who is already standing next to me with a smile sucks him.

"Why are you here?" I immediately pulled his hand off my shoulder.

"Come on, don't be so cold to your brother." His words made me grumble.

"I'm leaving!" I said I intended to leave him and go near Aster who was standing near the bonfire in the middle of the sports field.

"Wait!" Stopped my steps.

"Dad asked you to come back home as soon as possible."

"Tomorrow I'll be home."

"No! You should go home tonight!" His tricks made me frown confused when I saw his serious gaze.

"Is there a problem?" I asked then after sighing.

"Let's go!" I immediately turned the direction towards my dorm building. Don't want to waste time.

"The parking lot is right over there!" Shouting Dwi made me look back at him and I saw that he had pointed at the parking lot not far from where we were standing.

"You're stupid, huh? I had to pack my things first," I said again continuing my steps and left him there.

Mom .. I hope you're okay, my mind continues to convince me that you're going to be okay.

The time has shown at 08:00 pm right, the sound of fireworks began to earthy in the sky. Show their beauty as they erupt with a wide variety of colors and shapes above the sky.

Everyone seemed to be swept away in the beautiful scenery tonight, let alone the atmosphere this evening was very supportive with the stars twinkling beautifully adorning the sky.

Carel ..., my inner self, suddenly misses the child terribly.

I saw the figure of Lusy who was standing not far from where I was standing, he looked gloomy alone. There was no Carel beside him, "where did the boy go? Why leave Lusy alone?"

"It's really beautiful yeah ...,"

"I hope next year's festival will be as beautiful as this year too."

The sound of some people standing in front of me, and then I heard the sound of piano music that began to air evoked my memory when I played the piano with Carel first.

As I quickly approached the source of the sound, I saw Kalea playing the piano on a small stage in the southern part of the sports field.

I didn't even know the school was providing a small stage for tonight's closing session, did they want to facilitate their students to showcase their talents?

"The game changed yeah ..," said Teo who was standing next to me, making me a little surprised by his arrival.

"Changed?" I was confused.

"More tender and hearty." Clearly smiling thinly at me.

I listened carefully to Kalea's play, and what Teo said was true. The game is softer and more hearty. The last time I heard Kalea play the piano was when we were in elementary school, and the game wasn't like tonight.

"By the way Teo, have you seen Carel?" I asked for a reflex, somehow my curiosity increased when I saw Lusy had joined the friends in his class. And again my eyes did not find the figure of Carel anywhere.

"The boy has returned to Alterio's residence."

"Eh? When?"

"An hour ago, Dwi picked her up. I accidentally bumped into Carel at the gate of the dormitory. And he said he should go home soon."

Is there a problem going on?

"No problem, tomorrow the day after tomorrow we can also return to each other's homes because the school holidays have already begun." Teo said as he grabbed the top of my head with his right hand, I somehow feel like he knows my thoughts now.

"... yes," I briefly felt uninspired when I realized that Arsel's uncle, Khael and Aunt Wanda were not in the country. Not to mention, dad recently flew again to Singapore to take care of his company there. And me? I'm going through my vacation alone because Carel and I are still alive.

Can I imagine how bored I am this year's holiday, and again I'm really alone this time ...,
