Aster Veren
Episode 58's

- Ansel

"It looks like they're making another move." Victor's voice came back, but only a moment did I forget about my meeting with him yesterday and breathe fresh air this morning. But not for an hour, his voice again filled my head with another voice that made my head throb even more.

"... The kalea? She's still with me for now, but after the woman married Albert .. you know? He won't stay silent to take back custody." He continued along with Victor's serious face shadow.

"She's really married to a troublesome person" Arsel murmured as seriously as Victor.

Yeah, one year ago I heard the news about Claretta's marriage to Albert from my mom. Albert himself is a rich man who is able to rival the wealth of the Alterio family, even his reputation is also fairly good.

The man lived across the city and ran a big business in the harbor. Somehow his encounter with Claretta could have led to a marriage, but Victor's explanation seems to be that the woman is looking for an influential person to reclaim her daughter from Victor's hands. I don't know, I was just expecting it.

Surprisingly why didn't he do it all the time if he wanted his daughter back? After the wedding is over, she can take care of her custody transfer issues again right? But why has he been stalling all this time? My mind wondered as I recalled the issue of her marriage last year.

Besides it seems like the five of them are also aware of what I was thinking. Especially if it is not the involvement of the Claretta family with the accident experienced by the mother?

I can deduce from the investigation Eric conducted a few years ago when I heard footage of Claretta and her mother trying to get rid of my mother before dropping my family's good name. From there I can also see what is going to happen in the future. Damn I never thought that mom would ....

Maybe it is true that the child and mother who have a grudge against my family will return to act and disturb the peace of my family again, I don't intend to suspect them but I can't ignore it when all the evidence points to them. My inner being sighed heavily while recalling my mother's final condition.

Besides Rigel saying there was a point, I had to wait for Hans to wake up first to hear the real events before the accident happened, because he was the only one who went to Michelle's residence with mom.

"There's no point in me continuing to feel upset at Si*lan's son and mother." I muttered as I woke up from my daydream.

"We've reached Alterio's residence sir." Tomi said after stopping the speed of his car in front of the entrance to Alterio's house which was so luxurious and spacious. If allowed I want to bring my car as close as possible to the entrance of Ian's house, so I don't have to bother to waste my energy to walk from the yard to the door.

Yes, the page is much wider than mine. Likewise with a luxurious ash-painted house that stands firmly with concrete pillars lined all the way up to the entrance. Even the second floor terrace looks luxurious, if standing there it seems I can see a good view. My mind while watching the terrace above after getting out of my car.

"What do you see, sir? We have to hurry because Mr. Ian is waiting for the master in his room." Tomi's voice surprised me.

How soon did he come back? I muttered while glancing at my car that was parked in the special parking lot of guests.

After being greeted warmly by the housemaid and guided her to Ian's study. Tomi immediately left the Alterio residence with Carel, because the task of delivering me to Ian's residence was complete.

"In the morning he came to pick me up, unbelievable." I murmured while sighing tiredly considering Tomi's arrival this morning.

... It looks like the boy is troublemaking again and goes to the mother's place. My mind as I passed Carel in the living room a few minutes ago, thinking about what possibility could make him leave his house this early was none other than because of his father.

And again I heard him talking to Tomi to drive her to mom's house when we passed him.

"Sorry to make you wait a long time" Ian's voice along with the sound of the door opening displayed his figure walking lightly towards me who was already sitting on the sofa near his big window.

He came alone? Though I thought he was really waiting for me, it turned out that I should be waiting for him .... My mind remembers what Tomi said before I walked into Ian's house.

"Huh ...." I murmured with a heavy sigh, it felt hard to be okay in front of everyone.

My heart still feels sad, but I have to hide it from everyone. That way they won't worry about me anymore right?

"You made a little boy worry and almost cry you know." The next made me look at the teary-eyed Khael.

"Eh? Ma–forgive me, I didn't mean to make you play alone." I immediately crouched down before Khael with my guilt after releasing Carel's pinch on my cheek.

Lazily the boy shook his head while squeezing the end of his clothes with one of his hands, then the other hand he hid behind his body, "it's okay? Today my brother looks lethargic." She said with that adorable expression.

"Yes, even though this morning the lady looked excited. Is there anything that bothers you, miss?" Ask Brother Hana who just arrived with some cake in the shelter, even uncle Eric also helped her by bringing two cups of tea and a glass of milk for Khael.

"Are you tired of playing with Khael?" The question made me shake quickly.

"No, it's not like that. It's just–" Obviously I stopped when I felt Carel's palm landing on the top of my head to make me reflexively turn towards him who was standing next to me, then I saw the change in the eyes of Khael who returned cheerful and smiled widely at me.

"Then get excited, Khael give this beautiful flower to Brother Aster so that brother gets excited again." He said while showing a flower in his hand that he had hidden behind his tiny body.

"This?" My murmur received a beautiful flower from Khael's tiny hands along with a gust of wind that gently hit my body.

"Purple Aster flower." Carel continued with me and the sound of rustling tree leaves near Hana and Uncle Eric.

We were playing outside because we got tired of staying home. In addition, Khael also whines to play outside, so inevitably I follow his wishes when sister Hana went to the kitchen to bring us food.

"I heard that Madam has been caring for the purple Aster since she lived in Singapore. He asked the gardener to get rid of the rose plant and replace it with Aster flowers right on the lady's birthday. You could say the greenhouse in the backyard was a gift from the mistress for the missus." Obviously Hana made my tears spill.

So was it Khael who suddenly disappeared– went to the greenhouse in the backyard? My inner self wiped my tears and immediately smiled sweetly at Khael, "thank you Khael."

"Hhehe, Khael will bring more flowers so you have to be excited." It looks adorable.

"Thank God you have a brother as good as Khael," Carel said, making me nod in agreement.

Although Khael was a child, but he was very sensitive huh. My mind could not turn away from his handsome face while smiling broadly at me.

"Alright, because Hana has brought snacks for us, we should eat first. After that we play in the music room, how about?" Carel continued to give advice after sighing tiredly.

Look at her! though a few minutes ago he was nagging me for constantly sighing, but now? He did the same thing with me. If he was tired, he didn't have to come, right? Ocehku in heart.

"You! Khael wants to play music." Shouted Khael surprised me as he ran up to Brother Hana who had finished serving all the snacks on the table.

"Sorry ...." I muttered while rising from my crouching position.

"For?" Ask while glancing at me.

"I ... haven't been able to let go of grandma," I replied as I watched the Aster flower in my hand, "but now it's okay." Then I showed my best smile to Carel.

May grandma calm down there.

Thank you to Carel too, thanks to you I feel much better now. Your eyes say everything will be fine.
