Aster Veren

Aster Veren
Episode 172

- Kalea

The time was 09:40 by the time I reached the Veren residence. I came to see Aster after a long time we didn't meet. The other reason, was because my father invited me to lunch together. I came too early for lunch. And I purposely, because I want to talk to Aster a lot before I meet him.

I also plan to take Aster on vacation with me, Teo, Carel, Nadin and Tia. Because we had just finished the class exam, and we decided to go on vacation, to clear up the already complicated thoughts of being used to think hard in the exam for the past week.

Brak!

The sound of the desk being kicked down loud enough to catch my attention, I turned my head towards the door of my father's study slightly open.

Is dad at work? Inner wondering.

"Don't I tell you to keep your tattoos?" Aster's voice sounded intimidating, leaving me a little surprised and goosebumps as I peeked at my father's study from behind the door.

"You do realize where you are right now, right?" Next, I saw the purple bead staring intently at a woman standing firmly before him. Looks full of confidence.

Then I saw Aster's right hand grabbing a cup beside him and gripping it firmly, as seen from the veins of his hand that began to arise. Actually what are they discussing until Aster ride black like that? My mind was wondering again.

"And again, where's Hans? Isn't he usually always wandering around Aster? Why doesn't he exist now?" Continue muttering.

"You're really pathetic, Aster? It must be very tiring to be strong-witted alone .. would I help you? You can overthrow your father's position if you want, let alone his condition now–"

"Shut your mouth!" Aster cried along with the teacup that broke from the clutches of Aster's hand, and it shocked me half to death when he saw the fragments of the cup spilling hot water that was still billowing into his right hand, the hand that had gripped the cup with all its strength.

I saw a red liquid flowing out of his clenched hands, there seemed to be a shard of cup he was holding. I quickly entered my father's office and ran to Aster when the woman in front of Aster was still in his place.

"What are you doing?" I asked immediately to grab her right hand, "your hand is bleeding, you're not aware of what you just did? Why–" I continued really panicked to get rid of sharp shards on Aster's hand.

"Why are you here?" Ask Aster cut my babble, made me meet the bead of his chant. I don't know why I saw that there was anger in his gaze, and it made me speechless.

"... hee, is that right?" The girl who knows who caught my attention.

"It seems that my guess is right." Continue before showing her a sarcastic smile.

"What's? What you guys–" I asked confused and back cut by Aster.

"You can go now. Let's just say I forgive you,"

"Why suddenly throw me out? Is it because there is him? What's-her-name? Le–le ... The kalea? Yeah, is it because there's Kalea?" The question makes me even more confused with my current situation.

"Let him hear, ah! Don't you think he doesn't know about your dad, right? So he wandered around the Veren residence without knowing anything?" The next made me frown in confusion as he looked at me with a sarcasm, then smiled thinly as if mocking me.

Aster? What exactly is going on? My mind can't say anything, and then I bow my head looking back at Aster's wounded hand. I quickly shook my head to shake off all my curiosity.

The most important thing right now is not what Aster hides from me, but the wound in Aster's hand that must be dealt immediately. His blood is still flowing .. I have to quickly treat him if I don't want his wound to be infected. Ocehku in heart.

"Are you conscious too? If your influence is nothing since Mr. Ansel actually returned from Singapore. The position you're in right now, looks fragile. Ah yes, right. You're just a temporary replacement, so sooner or later, Mr. Ansel will get you out of your current position, right?" Ocehnya increasingly become, somehow I became upset to hear it.

What is wrong if Aster is only a temporary replacement? After all someday Aster will really be the successor to the Veren family right? And that's for sure.

"... fragile huh? I don't really think about my influence in the position of replacing my father. As long as I'm a substitute for you, I'm free to do whatever I can to your business associates." Aster said after a short sigh while brushing his hair back with his left hand.

I saw the woman's face turned more upset, when I had seen her calm and confident in her words before. But now?

"E–no, we'll see." He said a little.

"Hah~ I'm really upset right now. Maybe you barged in when I was busy with my work. Then rambled on insignificant matters to the point of trying to incite me to betray my father, do you have no brains?" Aster continued to look back at the woman with his purple bead.

This time Aster walked up to the woman and held her shoulder with his left hand, "should I cancel the Ellene family's cooperation with our company?" The question surprised me when Aster mentioned the name Aunt Ellene.

Aunt Ellene is a good friend of mother, but I haven't heard her name in a long time because I heard Aunt Ellene was busy taking care of her boutique abroad. But today, I heard the name of Aunt Ellene again, and it was from Aster's mouth.

I looked at the woman standing before Aster carefully, guessing who he was? And what's he got to do with Aunt Ellene?

"You!" He was furious, "you want to threaten me?" He then brushed Aster's hand off his shoulder.

"No, I'm really going to break off our cooperation. Please explain to the meeting yes, and please explain correctly. Don't let me hear things that aren't right out there."

Eh? Aunty? So this woman in front of me is Aunt Ellene's niece she's always been proud of?

"Ap–"

"Why? You're not sure about the influence I have? Weak and fragile as you say. I can still destroy your family class. So be careful in speaking." Cut Aster was still staring at the woman sharply, but his lips were pulled up and showed a sarcastic smile.
