"Young master! Run!" Xing Ruo's words directly pulled Mu Chen Xiao away from the room towards the exit not far from them.

Mu Chen Xiao who saw him, could only stare confusedly at once he felt curious how Xing Ruo knew where he was at the moment.

Not long after they passed through several doors made of wood and iron, they finally arrived outside. His gaze was immediately diverted to the atmosphere of Jiangyan city which was now quiet at night.

”How am I in a place so far away from the Sect?” mu Chen Xiao's mind was confused when he realized that he was now close to Jinya Mountain.

"Young master, are you okay?" Xing Ruo asked who was paying attention.

Mu Chen Xiao was startled at a loss when he heard his voice and instead asked "Eee,... Who is gege?"

Xing Ruo was stunned and replied a moment later, "... I am Xing Ruo, one of the disciples of the Hua Jian Sect. You must be Mu Chen Xiao, right?"

"It seems like no one is chasing. We better get out of this place, too." Xing Ruo said as he pulled Mu Chen Xiao away from where he was before.

"Huhuh? Where are you going? Isn't it quite a distance away from the Sect?" Mu Chen Xiao asked as he felt relieved after he saw Xing Ruo was on his side. If only Xing Ruo had not stopped him, it was possible that bad things would have happened to him.

"Your Residence! The ghosts still roam around here. That's why we'll stay safe there." Replied Xing Ruo who was watching around.

”Eh? Your Residence? Wasn't it destroyed three years ago?” inner Mu Chen Xiao was recalling the incident three years ago when he first met Zhang Xiuzhen.

The building of Mu's residence, which had been destroyed three years ago, left only the only large building in the middle. And inside the building, there was a fire that was burning and warmed up everyone around him when the snow fell back that night.

After Mu Chen Xiao noticed the fire that Xing Ruo had just ignited, his gaze was instantly sidetracked to him who had now been sitting before him.

Xing Ruo's words made Mu Chen Xiao instantly notice his right leg which was spitting blood again after they tried to leave from that strange place earlier.

Spontaneously, Xing Ruo instantly tore off a portion of his robe and wrapped it around Mu Chen Xiao's injured leg and spit blood again.

"Someone once told me that we should protect each other in the hardest of times. The young master could not allow such a wound. Your legs will be deformed forever." Xing Ruo said as he was tying his piece of cloth to the injured part of the leg.

”He must be a person who easily believes in the words of others. If only the person who said that instead attacked back at you, you might be surprised because everything he said was just nonsense.” Inner Mu Chen Xiao who noticed Xing Ruo who had wrapped his legs back very well.

"What have you done for me?" Asked the man coldly and with a threatening look.

Xing Ruo, who was kneeling before him, was silent for a while and replied, "I did what you told me to do. Now he's safe enough here."

The man smirked and he rubbed Xing Ruo's head and said, "Good. Take care of my treasure with your life."
