Chapters. 142 - Conference of the Seven Families II

When the warning bell has sounded. A man stands on a stone platform holding a scroll containing the rules at this year's Nanming conference.

"The test of survival will begin shortly. The participants will be assigned to kill the magical beats that are inside a forbidden forest. Each kill one magical beat, the participant would earn one point. For anyone who manages to collect the most points he is the winner. However, no participant is allowed to kill the other participants. If that happens then, all of you will be disqualified and not allowed to attend the conference forever. The exam will be divided into three stages leaving one family member remaining. The test of survival in the forbidden forest will last for five days."

As soon as the palace officials said the rules, a group of people appeared to be standing in a circular shape in their midst and began a ritual to open the gate to the forbidden forest. Not long after, a large circle that emitted a light appeared after they finished chanting the spell.

"Teleportation spell? Do I have seven people to do it?" Mu Chen Xiao muttered who was watching him.

A higher-up who had previously read out his rules, turned his head towards his Emperor. Not long after he said again, "The test of survival from now on!"

After the official said his sentence, the entire family immediately entered into the gap of the circle of light.

The moment they entered it, Mu Chen Xiao was a little confused and horrified if only he entered the circle unprepared. There may be a chasm ready to destroy it or a shark eating it when it has just entered the circle.

Xing Ruo who was feeling worried, fell silent for a while before he finally said back, "But, big master. For now I have a bad feeling about this. Does the great sir really not want to involve me?" It was her question that made Mu Chou Ran feel annoyed at continuing to hear him speak.

”They came from the same direction but, no one knew about it. Where is everyone's attention now? Hm, um,... My feelings are really bad. Should I chase them?” inner Zhao Bingyan thought about it.

Seeing Zhao Bingyan who entered the circle, made the entire family higher-ups very surprised even astonished when they saw her. If Zhao Bingyan were to become one of the participants of this conference then, who would take her place as the higher-ups of the Zhao family?

”What is he thinking right now? Does he want to disturb those who are hunting there?!”

"What's going on here? Why did the two people casually enter a place devoted to the participants alone? Are they possessed of something?" Asked the head of the Yun Family with an arrogant face and did not care about what would happen in the forbidden forest.

"What's wrong with them? Aren't the two men also assigned to watch over his family members?" Said the Head of the Li family after he heard the sentence.

Suddenly Li Chu Yi's expression changed! He felt a little scared because of the bad feelings that came to him. His mind told him that this conference would not go smoothly! There are some traitors who will mess things up and kill everyone in the forest!

"Great master!" Exclaimed Li Chu Yi who immediately knelt before the head of the Li family. "... Allow me to take part in this match!" His words that managed to make the head of the Li family feel shocked upon hearing that.

The Li family head felt irritated after seeing Li Chu Yi's attitude lately. "... Why do you want to go there? Your age is not enough. After all, the participant limit is only until the age of 20." He answered nonchalantly to her.

Li Chu Yi who heard him was a little disappointed that he kept lowering his gaze before the head of his own family. And not long after, he finally fought all the words of this old man! Li Chu Yi immediately came out and entered the circle towards the forbidden forest.

The entire higher-ups were finally pushed out and ordered all of them to immediately close the array. However, a number of arrows had suddenly landed under the feet of the Li family head and as it turned out, the attack came from Xing Ruo who was staring at him coldly.

"I said stop! Are you blind because you didn't see any intruders entering the arena?!" Xing Ruo said coldly and his remark referred to everyone there including their Emperor.

The Li family head growled in annoyance and said loudly, "External! Catch this kid!" His impact invited several troops to immediately capture him.

But before he was caught. Xing Ruo immediately jumped up and entered the circle of light that had yet to close. The higher-ups became very confused due to the actions of the four of them. Or maybe, what Xing Ruo said was right that made them all enter this circle because there were some small intruders coming inside.
