"... Actually, what purpose did Master Shang Ren aim to make it difficult for me to cultivate? Why did the great master put that terrible seal on me?" Mu Chen Xiao asked with a serious face asking him.

Seeing Mu Chen Xiao who was looking at him seriously, made Shang Ren speechless. He watched her however, he could not answer what she really wanted to know. In the end, Shang Ren simply replied, "I, I,... Can't say it now."

He then took out a paper scroll and some blank spell paper which was directly given to Mu Chen Xiao.

He turned back and said, "Read everything in the scroll and practice it on the spell paper in your hand. It will help you complete this easy task."

Mu Chen Xiao was speechless expressionless as he continued to pay attention to the piece of spell paper that Shang Ren had given him before he finally completely went from before him and unleashed the barrier spell that had previously made all people were confused to find him in the Luobing river.

After that, the sound of grass rustling and wind coming from behind appeared. Then a young man's voice asked, "Xiao'er, is that you?" His words immediately made Mu Chen Xiao look back.

As soon as he looked back, the young man immediately touched both of his shoulders with a hand trembling in fear. "Xiao 'er! You're all right, right? Did someone intentionally meet you?" Asked the young man which made Mu Chen Xiao even more confused.

He looked towards the young man and it turned out that this person was Zhao Bingyan who had been busy looking for him since earlier along with Hao Shu who was waiting for him behind. ”He looks scared. Has he been looking for me like this?”

"What's really going on? Why does Great Master Zhao look this scared?" Asked Mu Chen Xiao who felt strange with Zhao Bingyan's current worried expression.

"Xiao 'er! Just answer my question. Did someone meet you on purpose?" Zhao Bingyan asked back.

"So, man,... Master Shang Ren came here to see me. He just spoke to me and gave me this scroll and also blank spell paper." Mu Chen Xiao replied a moment later while showing the items Shang Ren had given him.

Zhao Bingyan took the two items and examined them well. There was nothing to suspect until now as no one could prove that Shang Ren had malicious intentions on him. The spell paper he had in his hand was completely empty spell paper and the thick paper scroll held by him was a scroll that a disciple would normally learn if he wanted to cast a spell.

”Am I overreacting to think about this? Could it be that Shang Ren is just trying to help her?” inner Zhao Bingyan who felt all this was already overkill for him.

"Hey! What kind of boy are you? Why would anyone else do this to you?" Hao Shu asked after he understood what was happening here.

"Don't you always tell me I'm a boy to lol?" Mu Chen Xiao said after he recalled the thing that happened a few days ago.

"Oh, so you admit it?" Said Hao Shu with his cold face.

Not long after, Zhao Bingyan gave back the items to Mu Chen Xiao and said, "I don't know what purpose Shang Ren cares about you so much. But, you need to be a little careful with him. I cannot protect you at all times because tomorrow I have already returned to the Sect. Next time you see her again, stay away from her and try not to talk to her."

Mu Chen Xiao was speechless and just looked at him in confusion. He could not decipher everything Zhao Bingyan said to him. But, it seemed that Zhao Bingyan was trying to protect her even though she could actually take care of it herself.

Meanwhile, in an old house that was in Jiangyan city and used to be the meeting place between Shang Ren and a broken-faced man.

Shang Ren who was meeting him in a feeling of anger immediately said, "What are you doing it for? Do you intend to kill him again?" Asked Shang Ren who was angry and overflowing with his own emotions.

For now, Shang Ren was just speechless as he continued to look at her hatefully. He really does not like it if he is arranged by someone who is not necessarily close to him. He hardened his fists and wished he could pull the words back.

”Huh! Eight more years, huh? You think I can't do anything to you? In a moment, this charade was about to end.” Inner Shang Ren was secretly staring at him coldly and planning something for the following years.
