Chapters. 29 - The Spirit of the Mountains

"So, you're a mountain spirit that lived for hundreds of years?" Mu Chen Xiao asked in surprise after these two female and male fish explained in detail.

These two fish then nodded their heads and hoped Mu Chen Xiao would understand what they meant. And not too long later, after Mu Chen Xiao tried to think clearly, he coughed softly and then laughed loosely when he finally realized that he had really been crazy all along.

"Haha!!! I must be crazy! Looks like it's because of the incense that's always been in college! Ahhaha!" Mu Chen Xiao's words were interspersed with his laughter while rolling on the ground as he imagined his current state.

"You think he's really crazy?" Ask the female fish next to her.

"Maybe,... So all this time, Yan'er was preoccupied with teaching a crazy disciple."

Not long after, Mu Chen Xiao finally stopped laughing and sat back down facing the two fish that were currently swimming above the water surface. His expression seemed to be still holding back his laughter and his mouth was unable to speak anymore because it was filled with his own laughter.

Mu Chen Xiao rubbed his watery eyes while trying to stop his laughter before he finally forced to say, "Please do it. What do you want to know, fish in the sea?"

Nan An along with the four other bodyguards, sat back down at their respective places. Their eyes stared incessantly at Zhao Bingyan until finally one of them took out a paper scroll containing the Emperor's order for now.

After he took it out, Nan An stood back up and delivered what was written in his letter, "Paduka conveyed about the events in the Dao Xun valley. Some merchants complained that they often heard and saw the ghosts of Xingyue's first King's army. They were like humans however, they did not have flesh and eyes. Their gaze was dark and filled with evil energy coming from the first King of Xingyue. His Majesty had sent down dozens of special forces to investigate the truth but, none of them had made it back to the palace safely. Therefore, His Majesty gave the order for each Sect to send two of its strongest men to complete the great task that pasu— could not accomplish"

"Stop!" Said Zhao Bingyan who suddenly dismissed Nan An who was reading the entire contents of his letter.

Nan An looked confusedly and asked, "What's the young master?"

"His Majesty ordered that each Sect launch two men to serve in this matter? Does that mean, Nian Gu Sect and Long Yu Mountain are also involved in this?" Zhao Bingyan asked in surprise and her face was like reluctant to believe.

Nan An replied, "Of course."

Zhao Bingyan rubbed the space between her eyebrows and said in her mind, ”What would happen if these two feuding Sects were reunited in the same place?
