Chapters. 41 - Dinner Time

"The girl has white hair and always plays her zither when she sees her prey. You better stay away from that girl if you see her." That was the last time Cheng Xing Xian said it before he left together with the other troops to return to the palace and report the incident today.

Zhao Bingyan was still speechless at the same place and was thinking how to deal with all these problems. Hearing the word of the white-haired girl who always played her zither, made Zhao Bingyan feel a little reminded of her past when she was still studying at someone she did not know yet. However, until now Zhao Bingyan had been unable to remember who had once been her Master. All he had in his memory right now, was his past with Pei Zhuo acting as a substitute for his parents when they were busy taking care of the Sect.

"Why is the great teacher silent?" Asked Mu Chen Xiao who felt astonished with him because he had not spoken at all since earlier.

Zhao Bingyan flinched and immediately replied, "It's okay. I'm just thinking about the problem that's happening right now."

”What is the problem here? Isn't he strong enough to fight against a ghost whose abilities are nothing?” inner Mu Chen Xiao who was staring in wonder. "Great teacher Zhao said that tonight is the time for ghosts to find food? Why don't we walk too? How were the two sisters after they found out it was already night?"

Zhao Bingyan showed her gentle face and replied, "Xiao'er is right. Maybe they're in trouble. We're gonna walk now." He said as he pulled his horse back and walked quickly towards the ghost hunting arena.

The clattering footsteps of a dark horse that kept running past the huge trees that looked creepy. The young man who was currently riding on it, seemed to be completely unperturbed by the current scene. ”It's time for the ghosts to have dinner. However, not a single one appeared before me at this moment.” Inner Yan Fengying who had been since earlier riding her horse and surrounding the forest however, was, he had not met any of the ghosts there.

"Do they think I'm afraid of them?" Murmured Yan Fengying who heard the sound of his sighing from the right direction where it stood.

Not long after he heard the sigh, suddenly a huge tremor appeared before him, like a stone landing in front of him. The light of the full moon that had previously provided light for him, was as if it was covered by a large object that had currently stood before him. And as he was feeling curious, what kind of creature was actually currently standing before him, made Yan Fengying just instantly look towards this huge creature.

A body that is sturdy and will not be destroyed even though it has been hit by a sword many times. The flesh was as hard as a rock and the skin felt very rough like porcupine skin. He was a human who had a height of five times that of an adult human.

"I've heard about the story of a general who was killed by his own king. So, you're the one? General Sha Mo." Said Yan Fengying while looking coldly at General Sha Mo who had stood before him carrying a mace that was in his right hand.

"Ma~~ ka~~ nan. A~~ a ~~ by sa~~ ngat, la~par!" General Sha Mo said in a broken tone and then he shouted "I'm so hungry!" Raising his rock back and slamming it on the ground to make the ground shake.

"Ma~ka~nan!! Where'd it go!" Shouted General Sha Mo who was starting to lose control because of the hunger that possessed him.

”He has rock-hard meat and very rough skin! If you fight using a sword, it feels so free! What element can defeat a large piece of rock in a single strike?” thought Yan Fengying. ”... Also true! Lightning element! That would definitely kill him!”

”Ke~te~mu...” said general Sha Mo who suddenly stood next to Yan Fengying and managed to surprise him to let him off guard in one attack he did.

General Sha Mo who managed to find his prey, hit the ground again using his drum to make the big trees around him fall and hit everything below. Meanwhile, Yan Fengying managed to dodge the attack even though a lump of stone had struck his stomach.

”I must form a formation immediately! But it seems, this creature will not give me more time!” yan Fengying's inner self while holding onto her stomach that was slightly scratched due to the large piece of rock that had befallen her.

Seeing General Sha Mo walking back to him, made Yan Fengying even more vigilant and in the end, he began the first step to defeat General Sha Mo who was very difficult to defeat.

Yan Fengying moved quickly across several sturdy trees and placed a paper spell on the four trees that were still standing surrounding general Sha Mo.

Seeing Yan Fengying who just kept running around him, made general Sha Mo become very confused and very angry because he did not get his food. He finally hit the ground again to make a vibration that almost knocked down the four trees that had been installed a spell of his.

After he managed to finish it quickly, Yan Fengying stood back before General Sha Mo a considerable distance away from him. He patted both of his palms and tried to initiate a spell that would destroy his body in a single strike.

"An annoying old thing! Die quietly!" Yan Fengying shouted at him and instantly started a lightning spell that would destroy General Sha Mo's body in one strike even though this was a complete waste of his energy.

Thousands of lightning bolts emerged from each of the spells that had been cast on the four trees before. The lightning immediately grabbed General Sha Mo's body and made him scream in pain from the lightning that continued to burn him. And not long after, General Sha Mo's sturdy body finally shattered and turned into a pile of corpse ash that was immediately carried away by the wind.

”Huh,... He is still at the level of a level five Master and has already dared to go against me whose abilities are clearly higher than his. I did not expect, it is easy to defeat a creature like him who has a height of five times that of an adult human.” Yan Fengying murmured while kicking the ashes belonging to General Sha Mo to scattered everywhere.
