Chapters. 130 - Shadow of the Woman

2 Years later.

The training ground of the disciples, Zhao Bingyan's Residence. There were some disciples lined up and practicing swords. There were also some new disciples there but, all of them had never received more attention than their own Master. And on top of a big rock that was behind the field, Ying Tian sat down with a white cloth bundle containing Mu Chen Xiao's Lingxue sword that he had collected two years ago while in the Gobi desert. He actually wanted to give it to Zhao Bingyan but, Zhao Bingyan did not think of Mu Chen Xiao even though he had given the sword himself.

"Huh,... How am I supposed to say it again? Why could Master Zhao forget his nephew, Mu Chen Xiao? Should I throw it away now?" Ying Tian muttered that noticed the sword fragment.

Not long after he was pensive in silence, Li Chu Yi came over and asked, "What are you doing here?"

The sudden arrival of Li Chu Yi, made Ying Tian extremely shocked and wrapped back the Lingxue sword shards before he saw it.

"Master Chu Yi! I'm not doing anything." He replied awkwardly after he saw Li Chu Yi standing next to him.

"What are you holding on to?" Li Chu Yi asked as she pointed towards the parcel that Ying Tian was holding.

Ying Tian was stunned and immediately looked at the cloth package. "... Actually, what happened to Master Zhao? Why did he forget his own disciple, Mu Chen Xiao?" Ask a moment later.

Li Chu Yi folded her hands and sighed. "... Haaah. I don't know either. It's been two years that she's forgotten about it and she's finally back to how she was." His reply which made Ying Tian directly stare towards him. "... He was actually a Teacher who did not care about his student. I've warned him not to be too hard on his own disciple but, he remains stubborn. I think something's been bothering her mind."

Ying Tian was speechless. He opened the white cloth and showed the Lingxue sword fragment to Li Chu Yi who was still standing next to him.

"Actually I was at a loss to do what to this sword because Master Zhao had already rejected it repeatedly." He said while showing the fragments.

Li Chu Yi who saw him thought before replying, "That fragment you keep. Give it to Master Zhao if he asks for it back."

Ying Tian was pensive and his gaze stared at the surrounding land. "... This has been happening for two years. Is Master Zhao able to recall it?"

At the same time when Zhao Bingyan was still in her room in the Yu'an pavilion. Right now, things are quite confusing. He was always angry and did not care about his own students. Every day he always complained of headaches and gave up all his duties to the other Great Master including Zhao Yuan who was still their Sect Patriarch.

"Stop haunting me!" Shouted Zhao Bingyan who immediately spilled all the objects on his desk.

For the past two years, Zhao Bingyan had always been haunted by a woman she did not know. After the memory of Mu Chen Xiao was erased in his head, there was a woman who always haunted his mind. The woman always appears in her dreams and her voice is heard whenever she is in a dark room.

A moment after Zhao Bingyan shouted inside her room, Zhao Yuan caught up and directly entered her room in a frenzy as she heard the noise here.

Zhao Yuan's expression was shocked as he looked at Zhao Bingyan who had fallen while continuing to hold her head that seemed to want to explode. His shout was getting louder along with the sound of a woman's voice that always echoed in his ears.

"Yan! Be calm! Yan'er!" Zhao Yuan exclaimed as he tried to pacify Zhao Bingyan who just kept shouting because of the whisper of the woman echoing in his ear.

Not long after, Zhao Bingyan's screams slowly disappeared and the voice of the woman who continued to echo in her ear also disappeared as she stopped her screams.

"Yan! You why? The female ghost still continued to whisper her sentence?" Zhao Yuan asked after he saw Zhao Bingyan's face that had returned to its original state even though she looked cold sweaty with her eyes still widened.

Zhao Bingyan fell silent and her gaze continued to point forward. He was traumatized with both hands shaking as he lowered them back down.

"Master Yuan! You're saying I saved the life of a boy named Mu Chen Xiao?" Zhao Bingyan asked with the same expression as she watched her hands continue to tremble.

Zhao Yuan was stunned and asked, "Has your memory returned?"

Zhao Bingyan fell silent and lowered her head for a while. He stood back up and hardened his fists and stared coldly at the object in front of him.

"I'll kill the kid!"

”Mu Chou Ran sucks! Why does he always keep me from leaving Qianlu town?! Uhh! If only that person had indeed died and this system had not told me to return to your residence, I might have grasped this world!” mu Chen Xiao muttered in annoyance as he was in a forest and sitting on a large branch of an apple tree.

While eating an apple that had just been picked by him, Mu Chen Xiao's gaze immediately noticed the surroundings that looked quiet and silent. Not a single city crowd could be heard in his ears and even the sound of the whirring of the wind could be heard very clearly.

"It's been two years that I've been here but, not a single Sect disciple has come to me to destroy my entire training lest I betray them. Could it be because of Zhao Bingyan who doesn't remember me?"

"Young master! I've been looking for you everywhere. It turns out you're here!" Said Xing Ruo who came suddenly and approached him when at that time he did not hear the sound of the stomping of the legs of someone who came to him.

"Who told you to come here? Didn't I tell you that I didn't want to go home before that guy unsealed his barrier?" Chirp Mu Chen Xiao as he looked at Xing Ruo who was standing under his tree.

Xing Ruo was stunned when he heard that. "Great master told you to go home— immediately"

"No! Tell him I'm not coming home until he sets me free to go out!" Mu Chen Xiao replied who stopped Xing Ruo's words.

"But, young master!"

"No! I don't want to go home! I have to say how many times until you understand?!" Mu Chen Xiao chirped in annoyance as he looked at Xing Ruo who was so stubborn and against all his words.

"Xiao Xiao's! You sure you don't want to go home?" Asked a large white snake that appeared suddenly before him with both eyeballs emitting a fiery red light.
