Chapters. 33 - King Xingyue's Army

"Xiao 'er! Away from her!" Said Zhao Bingyan who immediately pulled Mu Chen Xiao's hand as soon as she found out that someone had destroyed her spell.

Zhao Bingyan seemed to stare seriously at Shang Ren who was still unconscious before him after Mu Chen Xiao finished treating all the wounds on his body.

Shang Ren's current existence really had to be wary of given the recent attack they had made to destroy Hua Jian's sect, surely something big would happen here if the disciples here saw Shang Ren was in their territory.

"Why is he here?" murmured Zhao Bingyan who then glanced towards Mu Chen Xiao behind him.

He lowered his head and placed both hands on Mu Chen Xiao's shoulders before he asked, "Xiao'er, can you explain what happened here while I was away?" He said worriedly as he saw the numerous bruises growing on Mu Chen Xiao's face at this moment.

Mu Chen Xiao stared confusedly and glanced in the opposite direction. He knew that this should not be heard to the ears of the other disciples for fear of a clash between the two Sects. If only, there was one disciple who knew of this and told the other disciples, perhaps they would hold Shang Ren hostage as a ransom so that the Yin Lang Sect would give some of its land to them.

”Ironi terrible once!” inner Mu Chen Xiao who imagined it to the ends.

"Xiao 'er! What has he done to you? Explain what happened!" Zhao Bingyan said once again after she saw Mu Chen Xiao who did not also answer her question.

Mu Chen Xiao gasped in confusion and looked back at him with a surprised look. A moment Mu Chen Xiao glanced in another direction before he finally replied, "Great teacher Shang Ren is injured and I treat him here."

"Yan'er, we can explain it to you." Said a man who was currently standing behind Zhao Bingyan and they were Xiong Yu and Chi Yu who changed their form to human again, complete with armor they usually wear when fighting.

”Then, what were they naked for in front of me?!” inner Mu Chen Xiao while holding back his already overflowing emotions.

Zhao Bingyan turned around and greeted these two generals while saying, "Yan'er is greeting the two River ancestors." He said politely without demeaning himself and the two people currently before him.

Seeing the polite tatakrama shown by Zhao Bingyan, made Chi Yu feel astonished and whispered to Xiong Yu next to her, "His teacher is even better than his student tol—"

The wooden bucket that people used to take in water, was located just below the tree that was next to it. And as soon as he heard that he was being badly talked about by these two demons, Mu Chen Xiao exasperated and threw the wooden bucket towards Chi Yu's head to make blood come out of his head.

"Encestor Chi! Sorry, yes. Xiao'er accidentally dropped the bucket. He-he-he." Mu Chen Xiao said with a knotty smile after he was satisfied to beat up the face of someone who just kept on gossiping.

The look of killing began to be shown by Chi Yu who was completely unable to bear with what Mu Chen Xiao had been doing all this time to her. There had not been a day that he had met her and he had already begun to be irritated by her current nature.

"Should I drown him in the river?" Chi Yu asked while showing Mu Chen Xiao his killing aura with a cold expression and blazing eyes.

"Great teacher! This old grandma is going to kill me!" Mu Chen Xiao pretended to whine while running and took cover behind Zhao Bingyan as soon as he saw Chi Yu who seemed like she was really going to kill him.

Zhao Bingyan patted Mu Chen Xiao's shoulder and said to him, "Can Xiao'er calm down for a moment? I want to talk to the River ancestor." He said a little firmly to her.

Seeing her being firm towards him, made Mu Chen Xiao slightly depressed and showed her a parsimonious face to Zhao Bingyan who had already started to get annoyed at his behavior all along. Due to his regret, Zhao Bingyan was forced to have to carry Mu Chen Xiao in his arms. Because Mu Chen Xiao himself said that, he was already like a father to him, he was, Zhao Bingyan was forced to do this so that he would not create trouble in the Sect and become the culprit of the chaos they had been in all this time.

”Shame once!” inner Xiong Yu and Chi Yu were looking strangely at the two of them.

Trying to forget about this, Zhao Bingyan cleared her throat before she finally said calmly, "So, are ancestor Chi and ancestor Xiong going to tell me the reason? Why is the great master Shang Ren here?”

These two ancestors gasped in shock after the two noticed Zhao Bingyan who was carrying Mu Chen Xiao in her arms.

Xiong Yu and Chi Yu were trying to forget about it however, both of them could not help but laugh from the humiliating nature that Mu Chen Xiao had already put towards his own great master.

"Alright, alright. We might explain it. In fact, not far from here, the existence of the Xingyue Palace troops began to spread everywhere and regarding the great Master Shang Ren, he was injured while fighting with hundreds of Xingyue troops." Xiong Yu replied coldly while giving her a sharp look.

”This statement, same as what was said in the palace letter. But, what made them wake up again?” inner Zhao Bingyan then glanced towards Mu Chen Xiao who had fallen asleep while he was in his carriage! ”So, this is what he wanted since earlier?!”

Zhao Bingyan thought before she asked back, "Then, what did Master Shang Ren come here for and fight against the hundreds of ghosts that were about to attack the Hua Jian Sect? Aren't you able to let them attack the disciples of the Sect?"

”You who never understand, it's best to be quiet. I attacked the ghosts because of the duty of His Majesty.” replied Shang Ren who had secretly woken up from his sleep and surprised Xiong Yu and Chi Yu who did not know that he had been awake since.
