Zhao Bingyan Residence.

"How did you get something like this and how did Lu'er suddenly get a fever after coming home looking for you?” zhao Bingyan asked who was sitting on his chair that was shaped like a king's throne and before him, there was already Mu Chen Xiao with a look of puzzled face while sitting before Zhao Bingyan.

”I can't tell you that I bought the pills before to go to the girls' house and get drunk there. He would definitely scold me straight away and tell me to read a dozen more books!” inner Mu Chen Xiao while imagining his fate after this happened.

"You still don't want to answer? Should I force you?" Zhao Bingyan asked back in a killing tone.

"Ah—. The master teacher would definitely not believe that I used the pill to save a puppy from the top of a tree. Because the tree was too big and my body was too small so, I used the pill to climb the tree and save the puppy earlier." Clearly Mu Chen Xiao was very confident but his face looked terrified as he explained.

"How can a puppy be on a tree? They could have come down by jumping down. Is it hard to get that dog down?" Zhao Bingyan asked in a stern tone while keeping the form-changing pill behind her clothes.

”I've guessed he won't believe!” inner Mu Chen Xiao while trying to find an even more logical reason.

And not long after, he said again, "Great teacher Zhao doesn't understand! How could a newborn puppy jump from a tree that was almost the size of a palace gate?"

Zhao Bingyan did not want to lose and continued to ask, "There really is, a mother dog that gave birth to her cubs on a tree? You're equating dogs with birds, aren't you?"

Mu Chen Xiao who was initially lowered his head in trying to find an excuse, suddenly raised his head back while making a false cry for Zhao Bingyan to believe him.

"Great teacher Zhao! I don't want to be punished for reading books anymore. Trust me. There was a puppy stuck in a tree branch." He said in a heartfelt tone asking to be pitied.

Zhao Bingyan smirked and asked, "Really?" Before finally the sound of dog barking sounded from outside the room and managed to surprise Mu Chen Xiao who was currently sitting on the floor, facing Zhao Bingyan.

”Cih! Lothawat! Zhao Bingyan must have deliberately targeted my weakness!” inner Mu Chen Xiao slowly turned his head back with a face that looked frightened by what was behind him at this moment.

Then, when both of his eyes had already looked back completely. He was very surprised when he saw a fur ball, a large dog that had snow-white fur with a tongue that stuck out. The Zhao family apparently nurtured something like this…

”Mamp— is me,... Ha-ha-ha.” Inner Mu Chen Xiao while holding back his smiling face even though he was actually very frightened when he saw this white dog behind him.

"Xiao 'er! You must have not met him. Introduce, she is a Magical Beats belonging to the Zhao family her name is Baixue." Zhao Bingyan said cheerfully as soon as she learned of Mu Chen Xiao's weakness of being afraid of dogs.

Mu Chen Xiao turned his head back towards Zhao Bingyan and said with a forced smile, "A-ha-ha-ha, yes Great Master. Baixue looks so cute."

Zhao Bingyan smiled at the king and then he again said, "Baixue, why don't you shake his hand?"

As soon as he heard the threat, Mu Chen Xiao immediately took a cautious step by shifting away from Baixue little by little before finally, Baixue raised one of his legs!

"ARRGGGHHHH?!!!"

”Why can there be dogs here?! Animal handler or something! Catch this stray dog!” inner Mu Chen Xiao was trembling in fear as he continued to hold onto the backrest of the chair belonging to Zhao Bingyan.

Magical Beats dogs belonging to the Zhao family were indeed famous for their cleverness. Baixue looked sad as soon as he saw Mu Chen Xiao rushing away from him. His ears lowered and Baixue finally left the room.

"Oh duh,... You made her sad and left immediately. I want to play with him." Said Zhao Bingyan while trying to look towards Mu Chen Xiao who was behind his seat back.

”He must have done it on purpose! He knows I'm lying. Should I tell you the truth?” inner Mu Chen Xiao returned.

"You said earlier, you saved a puppy stuck in a tree?" Zhao Bingyan asked back in a sneering tone and tried to glance towards him.

"Big teacher don't look at me!” mu Chen Xiao said suddenly and made Zhao Bingyan instantly speechless. "I'm afraid of dogs not without reason. I was bitten once by a stray dog. And as a result, for a week I had such a high fever that I couldn't get out of bed."

"Have you heard of stray dogs, why are they still around?"

"I never approached him. All of a sudden he came up to me and bit my leg right away when I didn't know anything."

Zhao Bingyan slightly laughed then she looked up and said, "How are you? Baixue is a female dog. If she is already fruitful and about to give birth, do I have to tell her to give birth on the tree so that Xiao'er does not get scared?" He said in a joking tone.

”Tol— you Zhao Bingyan!” inner Mu Chen Xiao held back his regret at Zhao Bingyan who kept insinuating herself.

Zhao Bingyan stopped laughing and then she moved out of her chair with her left hand that she placed behind her back. "Then, you won't need these pills at the training ground later."

Mu Chen Xiao suddenly got excited and said, "Huh? The training ground? Am I allowed to practice swords?”

"Not practicing the sword but, building your cultivation starting point back after your spiritual flow exploded a few days ago."

”Eh? Shang Ren sia— it! Again he makes me miserable! Why would he put Liu's fire seal inside me?” inner Mu Chen Xiao who felt useless with his training all this time.

"Tomorrow come here. I'll train you here. However, if Your Majesty gives me an important assignment, I will be forced to train you out of college tomorrow."
