Chapters. 111 - Yong Qi

Western region, the borders of Yong Fei State.

A camp of soldiers had been prepared for the soldiers of Yong Fei Palace to fight against some of the rebels coming from Luoyang city. Unable to continue serving the Yong Fei state, they eventually declared war and for anyone who lost then, the territory would be burned down including the inhabitants.

When he was in his tent, Du Yang was watching the movements of the opponents who might just attack them from an unexpected direction and he only had three thousand elite troops to fight against the Luoyang city people who were arming themselves with magical beats they had.

"Hm, um,... If it had been like this at last then, each army would have been divided into seven ranks that would have fortified seven different directions. But, there will be a reduction in the number of troops that should be. If it is divided into seven ranks then, there are only 400 troops." Du Yang muttered as he thought about it himself.

"Empress Yong Qi! What did Your Majesty come here for?" Du Yang asked with a surprised expression after he saw Yong Qi had stood before him.

"General Du Yang! I'm the one who's gonna lead the next army!" Said Yong Qi firmly as he walked towards the table that had attached a map of Yong Fei and Luoyang region.

"But, Empress! What about Yong Fei's country? If no one leads, what will be the fate of the people who are still there." Du Yang asked as he felt panicked after seeing Yong Qi was not on his throne.

"There's been the first advisor to take care of them." Yong Qi replied as he watched the map that was under his hand.

"Empress! Please come back soon. His Majesty had no idea how worried the people of Yong Fei were right now." Said one of the soldiers who had previously entered Du Yang's tent.

"Don't order me! Only I deserve to rule here!" The yang Yong Qi that managed to make the soldier was silent for a moment.

"Why did His Majesty come here?" Ask Du Yang.

"You think I'm gonna let my whole army go to war without eating and drinking while I'm in the palace served by a thousand of my servants?" Yong Qi replied firmly.

Du Yang fell silent in surprise after hearing the answer. He bowed his body and said, "I'm sorry for my talk. Your Majesty has been very attentive to us." Speak with a low tone.

They were silent for a while as they waited for a question from Yong Qi who was still paying attention to the entire contents of the map. He knew all the moves Du Yang had made to protect his country including about the shadow troops he sent to spy on opponents.

"General Du Yang! Do you intend to divide the entire army into seven groups?" Yong Qi asked after he noticed the map.

Humble, Du Yang replied, "Yes, Your Majesty. Based on the written report, the rebels will come through seven different directions."

"Would that mean, there would only be 400 troops who would fight in their respective territories? Didn't the General think of the existence of magical beats that were on Luoyang's side?" Yong Qi asked as he folded his hands.

"About that, I've thought about it carefully. We are here very short of troops whose numbers are very different from those of the rebels." Replied Du Yang who was unceasingly bowing his head along with some troops behind him.

"Around 7000 troops."

Yong Qi put on a surprised expression and immediately threw the entire map attached on his desk.

"How can you make 400 soldiers to fight against 1000 soldiers?!" Yong Qi was furious after he heard that.

"Sorry Your Majesty! But, this was the only way to fight them. We're short on troops and the rebels will attack simultaneously from seven different directions." Du Yang replied tremblingly after he saw the angry face of Yong Qi on him.

Yong Qi gritted his teeth as soon as he heard the answer. He was annoyed because he suspected that Luoyang City had collaborated with the other two regions.

”Lianyu Region and Chuye region are definitely cooperating with Luoyang city to rebel our troops! It seemed, I had failed to become their leader.” Inner Yong Qi who felt inferior once he finally admitted that this war was caused by him.

"Your Majesty! General Du Yang! A group of troops estimated at 4000 are heading this way!" Said one of the soldiers who came to them and broke the silence there.

"Where did that army come from?" Asked Yong Qi who seemed to be starting to get annoyed with the circumstances that were happening now.

The soldier who had previously said that was only silent until he finally caught up with another soldier who came to say something new.

"Your Majesty! General Du Yang! The reinforcements have come! They were a group of troops that came from Zhang Palace and were led directly by General Cheng Xing."

"Before you sent a letter to Emperor Zhang if you ask for help fighting against the city of Luoyang." It was clear that Cheng Xing Xian had arrived at Du Yang's tent and handed over a letter of proof from their Emperor.

"So your country has been betrayed by them? Who started this war first? Why do the rebels want to go to war with you?" Cheng Xing Xian asked after he noticed the current situation.

"Our emperor died three years ago and now we are led by an Empress. Maybe that's why the rebels are trying to fight with us because Yong Fei's country is currently under the Empress's lead." It was clearly Du Yang who answered Cheng Xing Xian's entire question.

Cheng Xing Xian thought before asking, "Then will they attack?"

"The highlight is at midnight. They'll all start when the sun goes down." Answer Du Yang.

"Then, since the entire army is currently seven thousand, it is best that each region has a thousand troops. Regarding the magical beats that were with them, among us there were some sky level Cultivators who had spirit swords. Perhaps it would give a slight chance of victory to Yong Fei's side." Cheng Xing Xian.

Yong Qi fell silent after he heard the explanation. He held a serious expression before he finally replied, "Alright. We will follow your strategy. I will lead the western army and the others will be led by the Cultivators you mentioned earlier. This afternoon, we'll move!"
