Chapters. 05 - Old Grandpa With Naughty Boy

Two hours had Mu Chen Xiao kept waiting for Zhao Bingyan at the same place and she did not come at all either. In fact, he himself said to come early but, why until now he did not also go to see him?

I'm still not allowed to destroy anything here. After all Zhao Bingyan was too kind and believed in the person she had just met. He did not suspect at all whether I would destroy it or not. Anyway, my goal remains the same. Destroying the sect that has betrayed me includes Zhao Bingyan.

The old man with his wooden stick and his long white beard dangling to the chest. His eyes were myopic because they were covered by his elongated eyebrows. He already had many wrinkles all over his body so, not allowing him to be able to move as fast as when he was young.

"D...!!! Old bangka! What are you doing?!" Shouted Mu Chen Xiao while trying to release the hand of Zhao Yuan who was trying to remove his earlobe.

"What do you call me? 'Two bangka'? You're so disrespectful to old people!" Snapped Zhao Yuan at Mu Chen Xiao while hardening his pull.

"Olders of ancient times were always disobedient towards their own children! What kind of grandfather are you?!" Shouted Mu Chen Xiao back.

Suddenly, Zhao Yuan paused for a moment because he heard what Mu Chen Xiao had told him. He thought and slowly let go of his hand after he continued to pull Mu Chen Xiao's ear because of his mischievous deeds.

After lingering for a long time he endured the pain after his ears were pulled by this Old Bangka, he said, Mu Chen Xiao finally managed to rid himself of the ruthless hands of Zhao Yuan who did not stop lecturing him through the violence that he did.

"Why not do it since?! I almost lost my hearing!" Said Mu Chen Xiao loudly while stroking his earlobes that began to redden.

Zhao Yuan suddenly flinched and immediately said back, "You're a bad boy! I'm not finished with you yet! Comehere! I'll punish you for collecting firewood!" He said as he chased after Mu Chen Xiao who was trying to run away from him when Zhao Yuan called him a brat.

Even though he was just a grandfather, why would he continue to pursue me if in the end he would do violence to me?! It is very different from modern times. If this had happened in modern times, I might have killed my grandfather sadistically!

"Hey! Bad boy! How dare you be with the old man! Back!" Zhao Yuan said back in a tone that was starting to get exhausted from continuing to chase Mu Chen Xiao who was running faster than him.

"Two bangka! You won't be able to chase me! Self-conscious!" Mu Chen Xiao shouted from a distance while turning his head towards Zhao Yuan who started to stop chasing after him due to exhaustion.

Mu Chen Xiao continued to run away from Zhao Yuan who had stopped chasing him. Every now and then he turned his head towards Zhao Yuan who still looked exhausted behind him and without him noticing, Mu Chen Xiao crashed into an extremely solid foundation and did not fall when struck by it.

Instantly he fell down and stroked his forehead which hit the hard part of the foundation that had stood before him.

In his mind he said, "Who put a wall in the field like this?!” and without him knowing, the thing in front of him is not a wall or large rocks. He was a man named Zhao Bingyan who was walking towards his meeting place with Mu Chen Xiao before finally, Mu Chen Xiao himself came to him.

'This is a golden opportunity!'

Seeing Zhao Bingyan's character who was so affectionate towards Mu Chen Xiao when he was a child, made him finally plan something to make use of it.

Mu Chen Xiao instantly made a fake cry and hugged Zhao Bingyan's leg tightly while whining, "Teacher! The old grandfather had pulled Xiao'er's ear! It hurts the teacher!" He said in tears and pointed towards Zhao Yuan who had just appeared before them.

Zhao Bingyan was stunned and immediately turned her head towards Zhao Yuan who was pointed at by Mu Chen Xiao.

Once he found out that the person whom Mu Chen Xiao had appointed was his own father, making Zhao Bingyan bewildered to stand up for who was at fault at the moment. Zhao Yuan who pulled the ear of Mu Chen Xiao or Mu Chen Xiao who called this Zhao Yuan was a jack old man.

"You better tell me the truth, what happened." Zhao Bingyan said lethargicly while covering her face for not wanting to dirty her eyes just because an old geezer was fighting with a small child.

With a parched face and teary eyes, Mu Chen Xiao's lips instantly trembled as he raised his head back and looked towards Zhao Bingyan.

Mu Chen Xiao increasingly hugged Zhao Bingyan's right leg tightly and said, "Great teacher Zhao! I am a small village boy. How am I supposed to know the manners and rules that are here?"

In front of them, Zhao Yuan suddenly just raised his head back and pointed towards the two of them in annoyance.

One was a bad boy and the other was his own son who had never taught this bad boy any kindness.

"Zhao Bingyan! You're the one who brought this bad boy and didn't teach him manners at all!" Zhao Yuan snapped at the two of them.

Zhao Bingyan then bowed and saluted Zhao Yuan before she admitted her mistake, "Sorry Father. Yan'er didn't teach ethics to the kid yesterday afternoon."

Looking at Zhao Bingyan who had just humbled herself and admitted her mistake, made Mu Chen Xiao instantly feel guilty and unable to say anything to her.

'Ouch,... I really didn't expect it to be like this!'

Mu Chen Xiao slowly pulled Zhao Bingyan's long clothes and said, "The big teacher need not apologize. This was all Xiao'er's fault for calling him an old man. After all, Xiao'er was used to living in the village and Xiao'er still needed guidance to live in the sect environment." He said as he glazed over to Zhao Bingyan.

'Pufftt, ' Zhao Bingyan suddenly held back her laughter when Mu Chen Xiao called Zhao Yuan 'paired old man' was a little funny yet, understandable.

"Xiao'er is still a child and he is not used to his new life yet. He also came from a remote village. So, I better just forgive him." Zhao Bingyan said softly and wisely.

Zhao Yuan folded his hands and looked towards Mu Chen Xiao with annoyance and restraint.

The gaze given by Zhao Yuan, for some reason it made Mu Chen Xiao feel that Zhao Yuan would eat him alive and give his bones away to give to the stray dogs that were out there.

'Basic old grandpa! My mother never punished myself for continuing to play the game and you just got angry just because I was rude to you?!' inner Mu Chen Xiao while staring exasperatedly at Zhao Yuan.

Zhao Yuan then sighed and said, "Alright, I forgive him. You better teach her how to courtesy to an older person." He said while leaving their place.

Again Zhao Bingyan bowed and paid her respects as she said, "Well, Dad. I'll teach him."

Mu Chen Xiao who saw Zhao Yuan was so submissive, felt surprised and said in his mind, "The atmosphere is so easy for him to control. I can't believe Old Bangka would be so easy to forgive a kid like me. But, roughly after I grow up, will he still be able to forgive me?"
