Chapters. 117 - Escort His Majesty
Yong Fei Palace, west of the Gobi desert.
"Your Majesty! The three regions surrendered without any requirements, was it not a little suspicious?" Asked a Palace advisor named Huan Yu as he was next to Yong Qi who had been sitting back on his throne.
"We've kept the three territories tight and not let them out of their place." Yong Qi replied that he immediately concluded.
"But, is His Majesty not afraid that there is a traitor among His Majesty's forces?" Asked Huan Yu who seemed too worried about the current state of his country.
As an advisor to the Palace for many years, Huan Yu had found many small intruders hiding among his troops. He therefore seems to be very worried about the state of his country and afraid that war will happen again.
"Huan Yu's! You don't have to worry about it! I've arranged everything." Said Yong Qi firmly.
"Good, Your Majesty!" Huan Yu replied hesitantly and then walked back to the back of his throne.
"The war is over. Does Your Majesty need our strength again?" Cheng Xing Xian asked as he sat on the right wing of the Empress's throne while on his left flank was General Du Yang watching him.
"Wait on! I still need your strength. Our country is still in a period of recovery therefore, I need you to keep watch at the North gate and the west gate of Yong Fei because in a moment, our Crown Prince will arrive here." Said Yong Qi.
Cheng Xing Xian thought before replying, "Hmm, that is,... Alright. When will he arrive?"
"Maybe in a few days. The eagle we sent to Zhang's palace has returned with a reply letter. They will arrive in four days by taking Crown Prince Yong Fei with them." Answer Yong Qi.
”The Zhang Palace must have sent out the Cultivators from the four sects to bring their crown prince. I didn't expect this to happen again.” muttered Cheng Xing Xian who was imagining how troublesome it would be if he was also involved in it.
Meanwhile, in the Nianfeng territory. When the entire army had been prepared to deliver Crown Prince Yong Fei back to his country, all seemed to gather at the North gate of Zhang Palace on their own horses.
A horse carriage had been prepared for Crown Prince Yong Fei and behind him were several troops who would guard him. Because Yong Fei and Luoyang had just made peace from their great war, Emperor Zhang had prepared some troops just in case there was a traitor or Luoyang people who still held a grudge against the people of Yong Fei.
"Indeed how dangerous was the war they fought to the point of inviting two master teachers from the strongest sects? Isn't this too much for a little kid like him?" Mu Chen Xiao muttered in reference to the crown prince Yong Fei who was inside his carriage.

"Why so cruel?! Is what I've been doing always wrong?" Mu Chen Xiao asked after he saw the atrocities committed by his own system.

”Truly an irony!” inner Mu Chen Xiao who started to think if the strangeness experienced by his system was a virus attack because he never invited him to speak.
When all had been in his ranks, Zhang Xiuzhen finally arrived back among them by riding his horse and conveying a message from the Emperor who was currently busy in his own country's affairs.
"Due to the unexplained conditions of the war in the Gobi Desert, His Majesty ordered the two great masters that you both lead the army and protect the Crown Prince with your lives." Pinta Zhang Xiuzhen after he read the letter from the Emperor.
After the instructions had been read and no one had denied the Emperor's orders, all of them were finally able to walk back to the Gobi desert, which usually lasted four days.
On their way, they had to pass through several cities and villages including the most dangerous villages though. They would reach the Gobi desert within four days if they continued walking. However, if they choose to rest at night, it may take six to seven days. Luckily the Zhang Palace troops had been trained not to sleep for days as well as the Sect disciples who were also trained not to sleep and set up their spiritual flow so as not to get tired quickly.
After five hours of travel, they arrived in a dense forest and filled with wild animals in lush trees. The two great masters, Zhao Bingyan and Shang Ren remained on guard at the very front. The two of them continued to stare around as well as the troops behind them.
At first everything looked fine until at the end, the roar of a tiger sounded from a distance and made everyone there very alert and readying their swords.
”Even enormous power! This voice must have come from an unusual magical beast!” zhao Bingyan murmured as he sensed the presence of dark magic power that was very different from ordinary humans.
”I didn't realize I was in the woods. Does this place hold a lot of wild animals?” inner Mu Chen Xiao noticed.
Not long after the entire army fell silent, they were suddenly surrounded by huge red-eyed tigers that looked very hungry and were looking for their prey.
”Do they think they found new prey whose numbers are immeasurable?” mu Chen Xiao muttered as he saw that several tigers had surrounded the army.
As soon as the tigers surrounded them, Zhao Bingyan stayed on guard using her sword and was wary of the tigers that might attack them at any time. However, when all the troops had fallen silent while facing the dozens of tigers, two people from the same sect instead moved forward to kill one by one the tigers making them aggressive.
When Jin Mifeng and Yan Fengying killed one tiger at a time before them, the tigers immediately pounced on several troops including attacking the crown prince's chariot!
”Hooh,... Absolutely a troublemaker.” Inner Mu Chen Xiao who back then had been standing next to His Majesty's horse carriage and brushed off some of the tigers that were about to attack him.
While he was standing guard next to his chariot, Crown Prince Yong Fei opened his curtain after he felt something was amiss around him.
"Gege's? What the hell is going on?" Crown Prince Yong Fei asked Mu Chen Xiao who was next to him.
Mu Chen Xiao turned his head towards Crown Prince Yong Fei and replied, "His Majesty just calm down. These are just ordinary animals." He said while waving his hand.
As he was doing so, from above the sky appeared several lightning bolts that instantly struck the entire tiger that was attacking them. The lightning came from Mu Chen Xiao's spiritual power that was unintentionally released by him just as much as when he was in danger.
Seeing all the tigers that had been scorched in flames due to the lightning striking them, it made the entire army feel extremely shocked as well as astonished by someone who possessed this kind of ability.
The entire army instantly turned its attention to Mu Chen Xiao who was still in the same position. They suspected that Mu Chen Xiao had done all of that for them.
”Oath! It wasn't me doing it!” inner Mu Chen Xiao as he watched the entire army was staring at him.
Not long after, Zhao Bingyan finally walked up to him and asked, "Xiao'er! Did you do all that?" It was his words that made Mu Chen Xiao confused to answer him.
"B- no! I didn't do it!" Mu Chen Xiao replied awkwardly after he felt that he did not give out the slightest bit of his strength when the fight occurred.
Zhao Bingyan who was watching him, further embarrassed Mu Chen Xiao and moved her horse to walk backwards away from Zhao Bingyan.
"I want to see your forehead!" It was Zhao Bingyan's pinta that made Mu Chen Xiao stunned after hearing it.
”Hah? What's wrong with my forehead?” inner Mu Chen Xiao instantly raised his front hair and exposed his forehead at this moment.
True to what he suspected. The fire seal Liu had previously embedded in Mu Chen Xiao's forehead was slowly fading away and seemed to be disappearing in the near future.
"You seem to have to be more careful with your own strength." Said Zhao Bingyan who immediately went away from before him.
”Haah? What happened to me?” mu Chen Xiao muttered in notice.
When he was watching him, Crown Prince Yong Fei suddenly called out to him and it seemed like he wanted to ask for something from him.
"I want Gege to accompany me inside."
