Chapters. 116 - A Blood Letter

Since the palace was in a bit of chaos there, the Palace held a banquet at Tanhua's food stall. For unclear reasons, the guard was heavily guarded and no one was allowed to enter without the permission of the Emperor.

”That's really an unreasonable reason. What chaos is going on there? Didn't they have many palaces and many hidden places? Are they looking down on us because we are not royalty like them?” inner Mu Chen Xiao as he had sat in the middle of the row of dining tables that had been ordered by the palace.

He really didn't think about where he was sitting right now so he forgot that he had to stay next to his master teacher like the others.

Mu Chen Xiao who initially thought he was sitting next to Zhao Bingyan, felt very surprised after he saw a black robe placed to his right.

"Bocah to—! You're sitting wrong!" The whisper of a girl who was currently sitting right in front of him at the same table as him.

This person was Ying Tian and Zhao Bingyan!

"Let him sit anywhere as long as he doesn't make a fuss again here." Zhao Bingyan said after she gulped down her drink.

”Am I that bad.” Inner Mu Chen Xiao as he takes his food back. However, when he had just picked up his food with chopsticks, Shang Ren suddenly ate it when he did not offer it at all!

”Great teacher Shang Ren! Can't you take it yourself? Why take my part?" Mu Chen Xiao asked after he fell silent with his flat face as he watched Shang Ren eat his food.

Shang Ren stopped abruptly as he said something he should not have said right now. He was silent for a while and made Mu Chen Xiao confused while watching him.

Not long after, Shang Ren put back his food and immediately left the place without a word.

”Am I wrong?” mu Chen Xiao's inner self when he saw Shang Ren walking out of the tavern.

Zhao Bingyan's gaze turned cold as she saw Shang Ren talking to Mu Chen Xiao right before her. As his close relatives, it was only natural that Zhao Bingyan felt a little wary of Shang Ren who had troubled Mu Chen Xiao to cultivate like the other disciples. However, he had not told Mu Chen Xiao and had kept it a secret until now.

But, since long ago he always approached me like this and moreover he had protected me at all times. Was he one of the rest of the Mu family like Xing Ruo?” inner Mu Chen Xiao thought about it.

"You don't think Shang Ren is from your family. They were destroyed 13 years ago." Chirped Zhao Bingyan as if he had read Mu Chen Xiao's entire mind this time.

"Eh? T,... No. gabe. I wasn't thinking about that." Mu Chen Xiao said as he felt that Zhao Bingyan had read his entire mind.

The two fell silent for a while before finally, Zhao Bingyan again asked, "Did you miss your family?" It was his questioning that made Mu Chen Xiao feel extremely shocked after hearing that.

In an instant they instantly paralyzed the entire movement and made these three regions promise not to attack them again including engaging in anything that put Yong Fei's country in danger.

"It's too easy! It seems they can't just give up. There's gonna be a fight they're gonna do." Cheng Xing Xian muttered that he was currently in Chuye territory along with his two thousand troops.

"Report General Cheng Xing!" Exclaimed a soldier who immediately knelt before him and handed him a scroll letter. "... The leader of the Chuye region had written a blood letter for the Yong Fei state. They promised not to put Yong Fei in danger."

Cheng Xing Xian took the letter and read it for a while. The leader of the Chuye region seems to be seriously going to serve back to the Yong Fei state. He actually used his own blood to write his affidavit and did not use animal blood to replace it.

"We don't know about it, Your Majesty! We just follow what our leaders say." Replied one of the residents who still kept his frightened face.

"Then? Where's your leader?" Asked Yong Qi back.

"He, though,... Our leader has been killed by someone. But, before he was killed, our leader gave this affidavit to you." One of the villagers answered in front of him, giving him a blood letter written directly by their leader.

Yong Qi accepted it and immediately read the entire contents of the letter. Apparently the residents of Luoyang could not stand if they continued to serve their country. They feel they do not need a leader for their territory. Then, a word was tucked away that they would no longer attack them and promised that this would never happen again.

"Then where is your leader? Take me there!" The orders of Yong Qi which instantly made one of them stand up from his seat and directed Yong Qi and his troops towards where their leader was killed.

A place that was quite large compared to the other buildings was a place where their leader was. All the residents of Luoyang shuddered in fear as they saw Yong Qi flashed in front of them. And just then, in front of a room made of fine wood and marble rocks, they all stopped and the residents said that this was their leader's place.

After he saw it, Yong Qi just opened it and was right with what the residents had said. Their leader, who no longer had a right hand, had been killed with a large incision wound to his neck.
