After returning from the Church Mr. Yanto again invited Me and Mother and Liana to go fishing as he had said the previous day.
Mr. Yanto was even ready to bring his fishing gear just waiting for us to get ready
"Look we're leaving, the day just so happens to be bright" he asked excitedly
But apparently Mother and Liana were not interested in her lethargic face and preferred to sit relaxed in front of the television
Mother refused him "Dad is the one who left, I was lazy to go there" he said
Liana also welcomed Mother's words "Yes, I was lazy there too. What else is passing through the grass that makes my feet and my whole body itchy" he added
Hearing their answers finally, Pak Yanto's eyes shifted to my face
Without Mr. Yanto asking a second time, I quickly nodded
Mr. Yanto smiled, he felt relieved if anyone would accompany him away
"Well then we leave now" he asked me
But before coming out of the door step Pak Yanto stopped for a while
"Oh, briefly. I want to go back first" he said
Then he went back looking for something he would take to the river we were going to.
Moments later he came back to me who was still waiting for him in the living room but Mother who was wrongly focused on seeing Pak Yanto's hand carrying a rope that was quite long
"Well, what's the rope for ?" tannya
"Oh, no. This is later" he replied
"Yes, what's it doing ?" ask Mom again to know
"Well if you come there. You'll know" he said, still hiding.
"Look Dhira we're leaving" he asked me
Finally we walked to the back of the house past several houses that seemed empty and rickety residents who seemed to have long abandoned their residents.
Today I was out wearing no jacket, I was wearing only shorts and shorts. Mr. Yanto taught me to love myself. Although I still feel a bit taboo with my appearance but I try to confidently accept myself completely.
Apparently true Liana's earlier words, though, because our journey begins through a path overgrown with grasslands that are quite high as me and long pointy grass leaves that edge sharp if the skin becomes itchy.
But after passing through it I was faced with a natural landscape that was green so wide. In front, right left eye view spread wide paddy plants that began to roll a lot of what else the strong wind as if making me forget the warm sunlight.
I continued to follow Mr. Yanto without us talking all the way
Until finally we passed some large land map that has been overgrown with weeds that are not managed at all.
Then until we were in the place that was meant by Mr. Yanto.
The river is wide enough with murky water flowing quietly will either get to where it stops. On its edge there grew a large trunked tree that looked old leafy shady strong and many.
While across the river emblazoned also map rice fields with a stretch of wild grass that is high enough as never again taken care of the owner
"We have arrived" said Mr. Yanto while putting his fishing rod near the shade tree for us, what else is added by the strong wind as if rolling me into a deep sleep
Before Mr. Yanto started his show, he hooked the rope between the branches of the tree
"What is it for, sir ?" much
"You will know" he replied
Then he shifted to look for tree trunk faults around him.
There are many tree trunk fractures there because it looks also some dead tree trunks because they were deliberately cut down before. Not much, but there are a few. All that is left to live is this tree
Mr. Yanto took and chose a stronger bar fracture then tied to a rope that had been stuck in the hold.
Result
A simple swing for me
"Well, it's been. Now you can wait for the Father while playing a swing" he said
I saw him happy and sat there.
After seeing that I was comfortable with the swing he made finally he started his goal.
While I was just sitting waiting for the results of his fishing on a swing that was pushed gently by the wind.
Mr. Yanto sat facing the river without talking without moving much, the back of his field as if hinting that he hoped for the results of his hook
But over time I waited for him to get bored without realizing I also asked him to talk
"Sir Yanto, why don't we just net the fish will definitely get a lot" I asked
"Despite it, Mr Yanto doesn't have his net ?" ask me again
"Oh, no. How did you say it. Mmmmm" said Mr. Yanto seemed confused to answer me
"There are fish in the river ?" ask me again
But Mr. Yanto was also confused to answer him "Mmm, there is a heck. But it's a bit long. Mmm" he said a broken
"Why don't we catch our hands, for example, using a net trap or a fishing rod" I suggested again
"Mmmm, yes" he said
Instantly at the same time the lure of Pak Yanto moved. Me and Mr. Yanto who realized it immediately
Pak Yanto immediately pulled the hook and saw a fish big enough to move in pain caught in the hook Pak Yanto
Mr. Yanto to the exuberant sumringah "Horee we got the fish !" he said while trying to release the fish bite
But I don't know why not with me
"Pak Yanto does not pity the fish, if he is actually hungry again but Mr Yanto lied to him ?" much
Mr. Yanto turned my head after successfully releasing the fish from his snare.
"But this fish we can catch and we can eat. We will not sin" he said
"But I'm sorry to see it" I said again
Mr. Yanto laughed "Hahaha. Someday you will understand. And you will also learn the name of the food chain" he explained
Hearing it I became a reminder of the lessons that the SD teacher had explained. I just realized that this is real evidence of food webs.
"How is Dhira, you still pity ?" ask him again while putting it in a closed container that he has filled with water.
I shook my head "Not pity sir but I just want to try to understand the reality of life that is like this" I said
But Mr. Yanto was silent, he was even fixated on my rather profound sentence for him
"Why did you say that ?" tanyanya wonder
I who did not realize that I had spoken so could not give any other reason, I just kept quiet and went back to correct my sentence just now
"Yes already then, if later we get a small fish you will be fishing again, if we get a big one we have but before we go home we burn one fish and we eat together here. Agree "he said
I nodded in agreement "Yes sir"
And sure enough Pak Yanto got even bigger fish from his first fishing.
As promised, Mr. Yanto finally prepared a burnt for the Fish that we will eat together.
I sat next to Mr. Yanto who had now burned one fish with painstaking pain.
Although the fire continued to sway because it was hit by a strong wind but eventually the fish matured well.
Mr. Yanto split his fish separate daginh from the durin then given to me with taro leaf pads as a substitute for plates
"This is for you" sodor
I took it well and then tried it.
"Wuih, yummy yeah. Sweet" I said
"Hehe. Ja. Because it's directly from the source" he said
"Sir, I think I'll grow up. What do you want me to be ?" ask me suddenly
"Why are you asking that ?" tannya
"Because I'm confused when I grow up what will be" I said
Mr. Yanto smiled then sighed
"Dhira sweet child, you do not have to worry when you grow up later you will be what and who. You don't want to pay for school because you want something from you. But when you see you happy, courteous to older people, dear to the younger ones mutual respect for your fellow human beings, not arrogant and sincere to help anyone, he said, it is a victory for you that you have raised you. In the flesh of the Father there is no blood of yours but your heart and soul feel imbued Father. You should never be moping because you love Dhira" he said
Hearing him I was moved and just lowered my head as my mind trembled after being convinced with great expectations of him all along.
Then Mr. Yanto stroked my head gently
"It's Dhira, you're a good boy. Later you grow up you will understand how valuable and how strong you can get through life in this world. Remember one thing in this life. That man truly lives is when he feels misfortune and happiness is gain. So, never give up. All humans have felt the same suffering in their lives, the case is different in every person but the pain is the same" he said
I nodded in understanding "Yes sir"
Mr. Yanto smiled at me
