DAMNED GIRL

DAMNED GIRL
37. BEYOND THOUGHT

He also always took the time to greet us by standing in front of us

"Good day" she said with her distinctive, slashing voice

We answered in unison "Good day Mr. Tukim"

"Well, now I want to share your physics assignments" he said, sitting in his chair and arranging his luggage on the table.

"I'm pretty proud of this class. Its value is satisfactory even if there is a lowest value of seventy. It's amazing to be proud" he said, taking out one by one our task books from his Teng-teng bag

All the students including me were so calm waiting for our names to be called one by one until finally Pak Tukim called my name

"Andhira !" dial him

Since my name had been mentioned straight away I hurried to stand forward to pick up my to-do book. But not yet in front of Mr. Tukim, I even vomited between the hallways of the classroom chair.

Uuwweekkkk

The food I ate this morning spilled over on the clean floor

All pairs of eyes focused on me, some were sympathetic to the disgust of seeing food coming out of my mouth.

I quickly picked up the notebook and tore through the blank pages to cover my vomit.

Mr. Tukim approached me as if to feel responsible for my situation

"Are you sick ?" he asked as he watched my increasingly pale and lethargic face

Septi who answered from his chair "Yes sir, he has a headache" he replied

"Well, you should as a friend invite him to UKS dong" he said

"Already sir but he did not want to" he replied

"Yes, this is your book. Good jobs. Your grades are great. After this you go to the UKS" said Mr. Tukim while presenting my workbook

I received it with trembling hands, everyone watched it.

Mr. Tukim also pressured me once again for a short break in the UKS, Septi who was told to accompany me

"Septi please accompany Dhira for a while and please call the school cleaner to clean up the vomit of Dhira" he ordered

Septi stood up quickly "Good sir" then propped up my hand "Look Dhir" he asked

After arriving at the UKS room there was a young woman named Bu Naya. He is not part of the teacher but he is a staff at the school and his job is to look after the UKS. School Health Efforts.

Ms. Naya realized my arrival then thrust out a ledger for me to fill out the Name, class and sick complaint description labeled the list of students she made in a red pen scratch

"You sick too ?" ask Bu Naya on septi

Septi shook his head "No ma'am" he replied

"Oh" said Bu Naya briefly

Bu Naya immediately told Septi to leave the UKS

"Yes now you can go" he said

Septi understood that "Yes ma'am, excuse me" he said and left

"You can just drop it straight away" he told me

Then I lay down on the bed provided by the school.

Mom Naya quickly gave me medicine

"It's a drink" he said, offering a pill and a glass of water

I take it "This is a pill, ma'am ?" ask me first

"That's paracetamol" he replied lightly

"What medicine is Mom ?" I ask who has not yet drunk it, I still hold it

"What do you think you're sick ?" ask her back

"Oh, so this is a headache medicine, ma'am" I said

Miss Naya is still standing in front of me

"You think that people with headaches are good given what medicine ?"

I grinned

Ms. Naya smiled "I understand you might be confused. Now drink and then sleep" he said

A few hours later my headache gradually recovered. After dealing with severe pain to the point of not being able to sleep peacefully.

I got up sitting from my fall even though it was a little dizzy but gradually disappeared so.

From her desk, Bu Naya noticed me

"You're cured, Dhir ?" tannya

I nodded "Yes Mom already"

"Good, just one hour home soon sounds" he said

"Yes Ma'am" I nodded.

I didn't think I could take long enough to rest in this room.

"If you still want to rest is okay, but if you want to go to class now is also okay. Because it's ten minutes to go home" he said

I thought for a moment "I'll just wait here" I asked

Bu Naya nodded "Well then" agreed

Then Bu Naya opened her desk drawer and took out two loaves of bread and two glasses of bottled mineral water.

He approached me who was still sitting on the bed.

He offered me two loaves of bread and two bottles of water

"Take it" he said

Then I took it "Thank you Ma'am" I said

It's true, I was hungry but I didn't answer

"Eat so you have energy" he said

I nodded "Thank you Mom" I said. That's all I can throw out and then eat one loaf of bread.

A few minutes waiting for the bell to ring.

Teeeetttt !

Miss Naya reminded me back

"Bel is already sounding" he said

"Yes Ma'am" I said as I descended

"Thank you Mom, I'll go home first" I said

"Okay, I hope you are always healthy" he said

I nodded then stepped out carrying a packet of bread that I had deliberately left behind.

I stepped towards the classroom to pick up my bag but apparently from far away in front of me Septi came up to me, his hands carrying my bag and then gave it to me after you had faced each other

"This is your bag" he said

"Thank you Sep" I said thank you

Septi smiled "Yes the same" he said

Because I felt Septi was doing me a favor, I gave him a packet of bread "Nih to you" I said

But Septi accepted it doubtfully "Bread from where ?" tannya

"From Bu Naya he gave me two, one of which I had eaten" I said

"Oh, Yes. Thanks" he said

"Yes" I said as I began to step down to the ground floor. Without being invited, Septi automatically followed my steps.

We both rushed home

In the school hallway Septi apparently became curious about the story of my life even though it was a bit awkward and somewhat afraid that later I would be offended

"Every morning you feed the duck first ?" tannya

"Yes, later in the afternoon I will feed you again" I said

"Oh, what do you do every day at home ?" tannya

"Yes, clean the house, feed the ducks, wash the clothes" I replied

"Oh, when did you learn it ?" tannya

"After everything is neat and clean" I said

"When is that ?" tanyanya was still confused by my answer

"If it's been about eight o'clock at night" I said

"Oh, same as me. I thought you were going to study at midnight" he said

At the same time I saw from far away Liana's back walking in the courtyard of the school building towards the exit gate

Then I called her "Liana !" call me. Although I'm sure he didn't hear me.

But if indeed he wants to go home first without me it's not a problem either. Because I'm getting used to not being considered a brother to him

"He who are you anyway ?" tanya Septi was curious

"He's my half-brother" I replied

"I mean ?" the question is still astonished

"Yes, my mother married her father" I explained

Septi nodded "Oh so. But I never saw you eat with him. Don't you guys not familiar" guess

"Yes, I'm not familiar with him" I replied

"Oh why ?" tannya

"Maybe it's because he's quiet" I replied

Septi nodded in confidence "Oh so" he said "Oh yes, now how are you doing, is your head still hurting ?" tannya

"It's healed" I replied

"Oh good then, hopefully always healthy" he said

I smiled at him "Thank you" I said, "Oh yeah Sep, I want to ask"

"Ask what ?" Septi looked at my face even though we were still stepping together

"Why does Gea hate me so much ?" much

Septi raised his shoulders "I don't know, but I have a possibility" he replied

"What is that ?" much

"Maybe he doesn't want to lose to you" he replied

"Lose competitiveness ?"

"Yes"

"Why lose competitiveness, isn't she prettier than me ?" ask me for wonder

Septi smiled faintly "No, that's not what I meant. I think he feels that you are a rival in the lesson. He doesn't want a woman smarter than him" he explained

"Oh, is that maybe the reason ?" I'm still confused and not sure

"I was just thinking, too, but let's prove it. It's good your achievements should not come down later he is happy and feels winning" suggested Septi

But I'm still not convinced by Septi's explanation.
