DAMNED GIRL

DAMNED GIRL
53. LOOKING FOR DAD

Two weeks have passed after meeting Mira again, it makes me feel more confident because now I have a place to complain about complaints that have been stored only. Fortunately, Mira was still behaving the same as when we were children, he also still cares about me and always wants to listen to the outpouring of my heart that might make him bored with every complaint I never break

Stop..tingg...tinggg !!!

The school bell finally made a loud noise as if hypnotizing all students to go home immediately

Ting.ting..ting...ting !

His voice re-echoed

Immediately all the students scrambled to step to the door of each class, as well as me who also quickly rushed out of class because it had business to meet Mira. Footsteps continued to walk quickly until I finally stood in front of the door of his class, one by one I noticed the students who came out carefully but apparently Mira had not yet come out.

I only saw Siska who also accidentally crossed eyes with me.

He greeted me "Hai, Dhira" as he walked past me

I smiled back at him "Hi, Siska" I said

I was still standing at the door of his class but the longer the students who came out gradually quiet while Mira was not yet seen his nose

Finally I decided to just enter his class, slowly I stepped up to Mira who apparently was still busy doing her schoolwork

When I got next to him I sat next to his chair, there was no one else in this class only me and Mira

"Mira?" call me while raising both hands on his desk as my head turns to him who is still writing without looking at me, but I am sure he is aware of my presence

But even so Mira has not answered he is still busy doing math tasks that he has not completed

Seeing that, I became sanctioned and just sat quietly waiting for him to finish

Until finally a few minutes later the school work was completed. Mira gave thanks as she spread out her hands signifying the independence she felt "Alhamdulliah !" heed

Seeing him I'm happy too

But Mira can't handle me yet

"Before Dhira, I want to take this task first to the teacher's office" he said, showing me his book

I nodded "Yes" I replied

"You want to come with me to the teacher's office or wait here ? tannya

I was quiet for a moment, then I thought

"I'm going with you" I replied

"Oh, yaudah ayok" he asked

After Mira gave her math assignment book to Sumi. Finally we sat in front of the school under a shady shade tree, sitting on a long bench that was deliberately placed for a place to relax for anyone who wanted.

In front of the gate there was no food seller, it was quiet only me and Mira.

Mira who started her idol "You have a problem what is Dhira ?" tannya

"I want to see my real father, Mir" I replied quickly

Mira was confused by my saying "Huh, but you already know where the house is" she asked

I shake my head

Mira frowned "Well, how did you meet him ?" tannya

I also got confused "I don't know how but do you have a proposal ?" much

Hearing him Mira was more confused "I don't know either. While we have never met. Do you have a picture of him ?" tannya

"There!" answer me quickly

"Where ?" doorways

Immediately I took out a picture of Dad from my wallet and quickly thrust it to Mira

"Nih " my sodor

Mira accepted it and looked at it carefully

Moments later we had no chat, Mira still kept paying attention to Dad's photos

until finally Mira again commented

"The picture of your father is actually not clear, because this is a very small picture" he said Mira

Suddenly my heart was broken

I quickly agreed, "Yes, that's it now !" ajaku, enthusiast. I was impatient as if I felt like my dad was there

"Look, I know a police station around here. It's still noon" he asked

Finally we arrived in front of the police station near the highway which is quite far from our school. The direction of the police office is on the way home Mira.

We were able to get here because along the way I took the mini metro and the first time I took an angkot was here and the first time I knew the area here. Quite crowded filled with vehicles, people passing by and several houses of the population. I don't know calling it a city or a village that must be as crowded as it is in a city.

We were standing on the sidewalk of a highway right next to a police station building that was quite large but not magnificent.

Though our intention to report a missing person, set out with determination and a strong spirit. But mentally we suddenly fell did not dare to go inside.

Finally, Mira and I pushed each other for who was the first way ahead

I tried to pull Mira's hand for her to enter "You go first, Mir" I said

But Mira let go of my hand, her steps were also nervous to just start entering through the gate of the police station

"You, Dhira. It is not you who want to report to the police" he said with a face that was getting pale

"I'm afraid, later if the wrong talk is scolded" I said

Mira actually gave me the spirit of "No, will not be scolded. Come on in, you'll be behind you. I'll help you talk" he said

I shook my head "I'm scared, Mir" I said

Mira sighed deeply, I hope that her attitude was a signal that she would budge to advance first

"OK, Dhira. Then we go home" he suggested

I'm getting dashed "Why come home, haven't we entered yet ?" my protest

Mira pushed me slowly so that I stepped closer to the gate of the Police Station "If that's what we're going to get in" he said

Although he pushed me but I actually held my foot so as not to step into the gate "Then, we just go home Mira" I said

Finally Mira's hand that had been pushing my back stopped immediately "You sure you didn't call the police ?" tannya

I nodded "Yes, Mira. Maybe this feeling of fear is a sign that I will never be able to meet Dad forever" I said slowly

Mira who heard him could do nothing "Sorry, Dhira, I can't help you" he said

I nodded "Yes, Mira. Hopefully my father is still in good health" I said

"Amin" said Mira. "Then let's go home" he asked

Finally we rushed home and stood at the bus stop to stop the mini metro. But unfortunately the little public transport was very long coming. We waited almost two hours

Me and Mira were already getting worried because the sun was starting to dim what else we went without parental permission.

Mira continued to stand staring at the arrival of the mini metro which has not come "Kok, really tumben ya. The transport is long" he murmured

At the same time a father was riding a motorcycle in a leather jacket complete with his helmet pulled in front of us

"Wait what Neng ?" tannya

"Princher sir !" answer Mira

"Wow, angkot again on the demo because gasoline rose !" heed

I heard her and Mira looking at each other

But Mira still can't believe "Then is sir ?"

"Well, Neng didn't believe it. Wasn't there just seen angkot passing by ?" heed

Mira and I shook their heads

"Well, that's all again on demo !" he said "It is better to ride ajek, I am a taxi driver" he added

Mira and I looked at each other and answered nothing

But Mr. Ojeknya still continue to ask us to use his services "Udah, take ojek aja. Take it again on the demo, take it seriously. It is up to you to pay how much. Sellers" he said

Mira began to speak "If ten thousand bells could both not, sir ?" tannya

Mr. ojeknya immediately ready "Yaudah, hunt up. I am very sorry" he said

But Mira and I still haven't boarded and turned to each other until the ojeknya father offended

"Hunting up Neng, it's okay to be paid ten thousand. I'm a real motorcycle taxi driver not a kidnapper" he said
