At seven in the morning, I was late. It's normal, no problem. It's just that what's unusual is that the person I saw so early was already in my house.
“Good morning Leva!” Sapa Gin who was standing on the last step of the stairs. I just passed by, heading for the kitchen.
“Lea, I'm hungry.” I said to Lea who was in the kitchen.
Lea looked at me lethargic. “Haaa? Are you hungry this early? Breakfast at school. I didn't cook anything this morning, so lazy. I want to relax.” Lea said. The truth is, all mothers in the world should not follow it.
“Good.” I said disappointed.
I went to school with Gin this morning. He forced. We're on foot, because it's impossible to get on the skateboard. We were supposed to be at school at seven in the morning, but now at 7:33 minutes, no problem for me, but what about him? Not that I really think about it.
“You're sure you've improved?” He said when we were on the road.
“Ya!” Reply potluck.
“Sorry not to visit.”
I just shut up. No problem, he has no obligation to do so. His presence might make me disturbed.
“Leva!” Call Gin, again.
“Hmm?”
“Ummm, festival stay three more days.”
“Hmmm!”
“How are you preparing in extra class?”
“No idea.”
“True too, you're sick.”
He was silent for a moment. “Leva!” This guy is very noisy. What makes him always call my name?
“What?”
“Ummmm ..mau walk with me on the beach?” Looks like Gin mustered a lot of courage just to say this. Why did those words make him so difficult to express?
“No.”
“Ti-no want? Why?”
Wh why? Do I have to have a reason? Why the beach? Are we '80s kids? Just be right.
“There seems to be many people!” And, I had to think about the reason.
“That's your excuse?”
I'm nodding. “You like quiet places? There are many people, but calm!” Mumbled slowly. “I'll take care of you!”
“From what?”
“Aaaaa, just go with me this afternoon after school. I even got late to school just to say this.” He said, then he ran away from me, but when we got to the school gate the school security guard stopped him, Gin got in a bit of trouble. I just passed it, from the end of my eyes I saw the security guard shake his head when I saw him pass. Yeah I know what he's thinking.
As soon as I got to the front of the class, I met Fairel.
“Hei!” Sapa Fairel's.
“Hmmm.” Nug at me.
“No extra class today.”
“Why?”
“Because we're going home early, then we'll meet again at school at four in the afternoon and we―” he explained it carefully, trying to get me to understand it easily. “We'll be camping at school tonight.”
“Combined?”
“Ya .. it's kind of an out-of-school activity―oh but this is just for an extra class. For ferstival preparation, we will shoot at night. The location remains in the school, only in the evening―and stay! Just tell your mother like that.”
What does this have to do with my mom? Does my mom have to stay the night too? Fairel just left me. From far away I saw Gin gasping for breath running up to me. Classes started half an hour ago. We were both late, that was obvious.
Before we entered the classroom, Gin had a chance to mutter, “How did he get away from the security guard just like that?”
Haha. Do I need to explain?
***
As Fairel had said earlier this morning, there were no additional classes today. I want to go home and tell Lea about the camp and stay the night.
“Where do you want to go?” Suddenly intercept Gin. He chased me to the gate.
“Go home!” Honestly answered. I was always honest.
“How can you just go home, we have an appointment today.”
“I don't exist!”
“Tapi-”
“Today really can't. Next time, yeah?”
“Lain times? Really?”
“Hmm. It's promise. Bye!”
Damnit damnit! I had to make a promise, rather than bother him.
Leah woke me up in the afternoon. Earlier, I had told them about my stay at school, so Lea had prepared everything I needed. Although I don't know how he is when someone spends his nights at school, I think the preparation Lea did was a little overwhelming.
Extra-thick blankets, sleeping pillows, mosquito repellents, cold medicines and stomach aches as well as headaches, jackets, towels, toiletries, ropes, flashlights, knives, plastic bags and snacks.
“Please be well. Remember, do not sleep close to the boys, if they come near you just stab with this knife, then tie them in the tree using this rope, after that blanket them so as not to be noisy!” Lea said ending her long sentence.
I think these things I'm going to carry have a different purpose than I thought they had.
Once I was ready myself, I left with Qhaza, he helped me bring my things to school.
“It's the first time sister will sleep away from us all.” Qhaza said midway. “I'm a little worried.”
“What is wrong?” Ask wonder.
“No. Thats okay! It just feels weird, but I'm happy.”
It was a beautiful afternoon with the sun hiding behind the clouds. Passing paved roads between modest houses grown in wild plants. Throughout the season, many leaves piled up on the ground, everything looked beautiful as if autumn had just begun.
Qhaza suddenly stopped. “Gosh, he'll see me soon. Where should I hide?” Said panicked.
“QHAZAAAA!”
I heard a voice and spontaneously looked at the sound it was coming from. From afar I saw a young girl waving to us.
“Sial! He saw me!” Qhaza said annoyed. “Sister, let's keep going. Don't mind him.” Said Qhaza while pulling my hand in a hurry. I followed.
“Qhaza,” call him again. Qhaza pretended not to see it. The girl also got closer to us at full speed, she ran and we walked fast.
“Oh God, he's chasing!” Qhaza.
“Who?” Ask slowly.
“Because my sister doesn't know him! Sister won't like it,” replied Qhaza.
“QHAZAAAAAAAAA!” The girl shouted even louder.
Now it is only a meter away from us. It's not a metre away, but it's very close. Why am I getting creepy? He held my hand and I was shocked. Then stopped, Qhaza turned around and saw the girl holding my hand. Then there was an interesting attraction between us. Not between us, but between the two of them. I'm the one they pulled. Qhaza pulled my left hand and the ghostly woman pulled my right hand. Of course I already have a name for her, ghost girl‒she is scary.
“Appppaaaa are you doing?” Tanya Khaza tried hard to pull my hand.
“I should have asked, why did you run away from me?” This ghostly woman was also trying hard.
“I didn't run from you. I'm in a hurry!”
“Lying! You ran away as soon as you saw me.”
“You misunderstood. I didn't run.”
“Then why didn't you let go of his hand?” Ask a ghost girl. What does this have to do with letting go of the hand?
“That should be my question, why did you pull his hand?” Qhaza.
“For you to stop!”
“I told you I'm in a hurry!”
“Long!” Said the ghost girl angry.
I'm really disappointed. It's not like the ghost stories I see in movies and anime, it's not like this. Not pulling each other like this. Supposedly when the ghost girl got me, Qhaza took off my hand and ran for help. The ghost girl should have killed me. He should have used my body to terrorize people and the Qhaza. After that the story ends when Qhaza gets help from a sorcerer.
“Sick!” I said later. They both suddenly stopped. Slowly take my hand off.
“Hehehe. I'm sorry, I'm used to it!”
What does it mean to be used to it? The ghost girl laughed out loud while holding her head.
“Kakak, let's get out of here. You're too late!” Qhaza said, he invited me but his eyes were sharp looking at the ghost girl furiously. The ghost girl also returned her gaze, but she smiled.
“It looks like it's really late.” Said the ghost girl with a plain and relaxed face. “Kak Leva, titip greetings for brother Fairel yes.”
Whahuh?
First, he called me brother. Second, he knows my name. Third, he knew Fairel. Fourth, he told me to give his regards to Fairel. Who her?
“Come go!” Said Qhaza leaving the ghost girl.
He walked without looking back. Before I followed him, I said to them both, “I'm disappointed!” I am really disappointed. Though I hope this horror story can be more interesting and challenging again. But why end up saying goodbye normally? But strangely, somehow, thanks to my recent words, the real horror atmosphere between the Qhaza and the ghost girl was created.
A while later, we reached the school, Fairel was already waiting at the gate.
“I don't think you're coming.” Fairel said as soon as he saw the two of us.
“There is a little problem on the road.” Answer Qhaza.
“Hmmm.” Fairel smiled, amazingly handsome.
“I'll just drive him here!” Qhaza. “Make sure he's okay! If there is a problem with him, I will look for you!” Qhaza said firmly. What the hell is going on?
“Hahaha,”
Bizarrely. They both laughed.
Qhaza go. Fairel brought both my rancels. I followed him, we headed for an extra class together. There everything has been gathered, including Tiwa and Abdul. Means that I came last, it seems that my status as the one who is always late is still firmly attached to me.
I entered the class‒which has been arranged very neatly. They've cleaned it up so we can put it to sleep. We'll be here until tomorrow morning, because three more days, the festival is held.
