Episode 63

It was early in the morning that Erlan and Lena had arrived at Harrison's luxurious residence. They stepped into the house with their hands clutched together. And their return was greeted with a cynical face by Natasha who looked neat and beautiful with a maroon dress that printed the clear curves of her slim body.

“Good morning mommy.” Lena's smile greeted Natasha kindly. From today onwards Lena will not show her weakness to Natasha or anyone else.

Instead of answering Lena's friendly greeting, Natasha was staring from above until Lena's appearance. The woman shook her head with a disdainful smile at Lena. In her eyes Lena's appearance was too ordinary and did not reflect as the wife of an Erlan Dallin Harrison.

“It looks like you are a person who has no shame huh Lena.. You can usually continue to look so very ordinary even when you go out with Erlan. Do you deliberately want to make people out there look at my son as a stingy man who does not want to model his wife?”

Lena chuckled amusedly hearing that. Natasha's assessment was exactly the same as the two women who had scathing comments while at the restaurant yesterday about her appearance.

Erlan who was next to Lena was silent. Although Erlan had actually started to get emotional because of what Natasha had said to Lena. But Erlan was trying to hold him back. Erlan wanted to know how far Lena could maintain her own pride in front of Natasha.

“Mommy could have. Thanks for the good criticism mom... I prefer my simple appearance like this. I don't care what anyone else responds to. Importantly my beloved husband Erlan did not feel objection to my usual appearance. She accepts me as is mommy.” Reply Lena who at the end of her sentence turned her head and looked meaningfully at Erlan who was also looking at her with a smile that adorned her lips.

Natasha nodded at hearing that. The woman did not expect Lena to dare to speak like that to her.

“You..”.

“Yes yes mommy. Erlan and I went to the room first. Come Erlan.” Lena interrupts what Natasha wants to say and pulls Erlan's hand out of Natasha's presence. Lena deliberately avoided so as not to be more courageous on mommy continued from her husband.

Natasha clenched her hands looking at Lena and Erlan who just passed by from before her. The woman felt very upset even angry that Lena dared to act so bravely to her.

“Basic women do not know ethics. Don't know manners.” He murmured with fire rage.

The heavy voice of the great master Harrison made Natasha instantly turn her head. A rough breath came out from his lips.

“You just ask yourself the same as your child.” Ketus Natasha chose to pass.

Mr. Harrison clucked softly. The man did not know why the relationship between Erlan and Natasha suddenly stretched. The two even often clashed just because of trivial things. On the second floor, Lena stepped even faster once she got close to the door of her room and Erlan. It made Erlan ask a little question because it was like he was in a hurry.

Lena opened the door of her room pulling Erlan inside then closed and locked her back from the inside.

“Why you baby?” Erlan asked curiously.

“What did I say so outrageously earlier Erlan?” He looked at Erlan. The guilt of being disrespectful to her mother-in-law began to eat away at Lena's heart.

“I.. Me...” Lena flipped herself. This whole life was the first time Lena had been so rude to someone much older than her.

Seeing his wife who looked unsettled by herself, Erlan immediately grabbed onto Lena's slender body. The man rubbed Lena's back and occasionally kissed Lena's long hair. Erlan knew what Lena was feeling right now.

“I.. I..” Lena tried to get her word out again but couldn't help it and just stopped.

“Quiet... It's okay, honey.. What you did was right.” Erlan's whisper tried to calm Lena down.

Lena shook her head. Although Natasha is very strict and cynical to him, but after all Natasha is a mommy, continued Erlan. The one Lena should respect. But just now, Lena was acting so arrogantly in front of Natasha.

“You should act like that, baby.. It's okay what.. Because only then mommy will not be as arbitrary as you.” Erlan.

Lena then broke free from Erlan's embrace. He looked up at the handsome face of Erlan who continued to show a sweet smile on his lips.

“But..”.

“Sshhttt.. Remember, young lady Harrison must not be weak. You have to be brave. That way you will not be easily oppressed if I am not at home.” Sela Erlan soft.

Lena sighed softly. Lena recalled the time yesterday when she first met Natasha. The woman was immediately cynical towards him. Natasha is also so cranky and careless to the mbok.

Lena closed her eyes then nodded her head. His thinking shifted to himself. Erlan could not always be beside him at all times. Erlan has responsibilities outside the home that is the company he leads. For that Lena thinks she should be able to protect herself. What's more now there is also Natasha who could have broken her mentality with her spicy speech.

“Alright then.” Lirih.

Erlan grabbed both of Lena's hands, grasped and raised them kissing her one by one with both eyes closed.

Lena who was treated as gentle and special was just silent. His heart always warmed up every time Erlan was gentle with him. And that warm feeling that then radiates from the heart to the rest of his body causes a sense of comfort that exists.

“I believe completely the same you dear. Do your best. For our relationship.” Erlan's smile opened both her eyes.

Slowly Lena smiled. Such a sweet smile for her husband. Once again Lena nodded her head. Right now only their relationship matters in Lena's life. Because Lena has no one else in the world but Erlan. Lena also had no more great expectations other than the expectations on their relationship that would definitely make her future happy.

“Thanks Erlan.” He said he then went back into Erlan's arms.

Erlan just laughed softly. The man immediately returned Lena's tight embrace gently. Although Lena can be firm in front of Natasha, but that does not mean Erlan hands off. Erlan would keep telling the mbok as an eye if Natasha was rude to Lena.
