Eudart was just silent and not minding Arya's question before, he was still standing there without moving a single bit. Arya did not dare to be rash to do something, because she knew that her ability was far below Eudart. Even if he used the element control ability he currently possessed. Eudart finally cleared his throat slowly and said.
"I don't have to answer such a clear question, do I? Go before I change my mind, and for you Ivy....."
"Wait a minute, Ivy did nothing wrong. I was the one who asked her to show me the way to this place" Arya argued immediately as she quickly approached Ivy.
Arya then explained how she could ask for my help through Summoner Cube, Eudart listened carefully, then after Arya finished telling her Eudart's expression changed. He looks a little confused.
"The queen gave you permission to come here? What exactly is your purpose in finding the Hellig Tree?" said astonishment.
Arya was then slightly forced to tell about the second stage Elementalist Examination that she was undergoing, but she did not discuss as much as possible about the secret mission that Astral had given her. Somehow he felt risky enough to tell Eudart about it.
"You're not even a perfect Elementalist yet and you've dared to set foot here? Your head may as well be son" Eudart commented as he shook his head.
"Queen Diana also said the same thing" Arya chirped softly.
"So you're really an Aryan Elementalist? Is that true? Real elementalists?" ask Ivy with sparkling eyes.
Then to prove it to Ivy. Arya with a smooth motion opened the hood of her coat and showed her snow-white hair, Ivy's mouth immediately gaping with width as if she had just seen something very extraordinary. He could not hide his surprise.
"This hair....Are you really an Ice Elementalist?"
Arya just smiled while nodding slowly, but not like Ivy who looks amazed when Arya shows her hair. Eudart instead snorted unhappily and then curtly said "Maybe the Queen did give you permission to come here, but I as the Guardian will not allow you to get the branch of the Hellig Tree"
"But..why?! Didn't you Elves always obey your Queen?" Aryan Protest.
"Don't get me wrong, boy, I'm not here as an Elf. I am here as a Guardian entrusted with the task of guarding the Hellig Tree by all the creatures in the Fairy Forest" Eudart replied calmly.
Soon the spirit of Arya which since yesterday culminated in her slumped quickly, even though she was already confident that she would be able to complete her task here after getting the blessing of Diana. But it turns out that Eudart has a higher authority in this valley because he is the Guardian of the Tree. He felt a little tricked, it was fitting that Diana would easily allow him to come here.
"Quick get out of here before I use violence, I really know who you are when you first see your appearance" said Eudart indifferently.
"How can you say that? You haven't even seen me with your eyes" Arya replied resentfully.
Then Eudart opened his eyes, Arya did not believe what he saw. Eudart's eyes were the most unique eyes he had ever seen, Eudart's right eye was white as if covered by a thin membrane. While the left eye is black entirely without any other color that adorns it.
"You...can't see?" ask Arya astonishment.
"You're not wrong, but you're not right either. It's my eyes that can't be used to see, but I can see you clearly"
After Eudart said that suddenly the Three-Tailed Owl who perched on his shoulder shrieked loudly and let out a bluish light from his eyes, Seeing that Arya realized that it turned out even though Eudart could not see using his eyes. He could see through the eyes of the Three-Tailed Owl.
"It seems you have understood, you are quite slow in thinking" Eudart criticized.
"What do you mean by saying you know who I am just by looking at my appearance?"
"Since your face is so similar to the one who has taken the sight of my right eye, perhaps only the eyes of the two of you are the differentiator" Eudart replied with a hint of annoyance heard from his voice.
"You know my grandfather?" arya asked while shaking her head in confusion.
"Not really, we are just old acquaintances who met on the battlefield" Eudart replied then turned and walked towards the large tree in the middle of the valley.
Arya couldn't help but urge herself to ask, then quickly said "Wait a minute, then what do you mean by knowing the sound of my footsteps?"
"How could I not remember the sound of my own students' footsteps" he whispered softly but Arya could hear it clearly.
Arya was silent for a moment while trying to interpret Eudart's answer, she did not understand the meaning of Eudart's previous words. Amidst the confusion, Ivy flew over to him and said seriously, "You should leave immediately, Arya, I don't want you to get hurt for not hearing Mr. Eudart"
"But I still don't understand" Arya replied while still thinking out loud.
Ivy then breathed and smiled, he slowly spoke so that Arya would not miss anything she wanted to say "You should know Arya, Mr. Eudart is a former Pentagram Knight two generations ago. His full name is Eudart D'Azuldria"
"He's from the Azuldria family? And he's a former Knight of Pentagram?" arya repeated in surprise.
Arya shuddered softly hearing that, she had just met the former Knight of Pentagram. And he could very clearly see the difference in their abilities, he could not imagine himself going up against the current generation of Pentagram Knights. But he still did not understand what Eudart's last words meant.
Seeing Arya who still looks confused Ivy immediately explained "As long as you know Arya too, many Elves who want to become students of Lord Eudart. But until now, he had only ever accepted three people as his students"
"Only three people? His whole life up to this point?"
"Right, and the three disciples were arguably the most influential people of their generation. The former Pentagram Knight of the previous generation, the one who was dubbed as the best strategist in the history of the Elf race. Father of Orion and Eridan, Exynos D'Azuldria"
"The father of Eridan was his disciple?" his Aryan did not believe.
"You don't need to be surprised like that, the second one was the Elf King before. The father of Miss Alalea, Her Majesty Sofos D'Azuldria. And the latter was the only woman who had ever been a disciple of Lord Eudart, the person known as the most talented Elementalist throughout history. She is your own mother Arya, Lady Lyan Frost.
-----------------------------<<>>-----------------------------
Arya walked up to Eudart who was sitting in a meditative position under a giant tree, Eudart sat facing the tree so that Arya could not see his face. Arya took a deep breath and ventured to speak.
"From your previous words I can conclude that you don't like my grandfather"
Eudart was still silent like he did not hear the words thrown by Arya, Arya was a little annoyed at being ignored. But he continued saying "Then why did you accept my mother as your student?"
"I didn't accept him to be my disciple, he was the one who asked me to be his teacher" Eudart replied calmly.
"But why did you accept that request? Don't you hate my grandfather? Why did you accept the request from her daughter?" ask Arya again.
Eudart did not reply, once again he was silent and silent as if Arya was no longer there and he had never spoken to Arya before. Feeling that Eudart would say nothing more, Arya took the initiative to say "If you don't want to tell me why, let me make this clear"
Arya had thought things through carefully, and according to her this was the most plausible reason why a person like Eudart received a daughter from an enemy who had taken a vision of his right eye as a disciple.
"If my guess doesn't miss, the reason you accepted my mother as your student is because of my grandmother. You saw the figure of my grandmother in Lyan Frost, you..you are the General who became my grandmother's fiancee in the past, right?"
Eudart turned around and turned towards Arya with his eyes closed, he seemed to think for a moment then softly said.
"I retract my words, it turns out you're not too slow in thinking"
-----------------------------<<>>-----------------------------
"Then you know all these things, what are you gonna do?" ask Eudart.
"I want to ask for something" Arya replied quickly.
"I told you I wouldn't give you a limb---"
"Make me your student"
"Huh?! Did I not hear wrong?"
Eudart raised his eyebrows in astonishment, but Arya had already made up her mind. He was sure this was the best option he could take, and it was possible that he could get a branch of the Hellig Tree if he could make Eudart his teacher.
"Eh?! Wh why? You want to accept my mother as your disciple, don't you want to make your student's son your disciple?" aryan.
"I told you to think about it again, didn't I? I no longer accept students. Because as you can see, I always end up losing"
Arya understood the meaning of Eudart, the three disciples of Eudart had died before him. In other words he felt they were experiencing it because of being his disciple, he felt guilty because misfortune approached them and did not want anyone else to experience the same thing.
"If you don't want to make me your student, teach me how to use magic" Arya said quickly.
"Magic? What's for?" asked Eudart while frowning.
"Why? Can't it?" ask Arya back.
"Of course you can, you have Elf blood in you. All I want to know is why you want to learn how to use magic"
"I think it will be useful for me in the future" Arya replied with a smile.
Eudart let out a long sigh and said, "You are as stubborn as your grandmother and mother. Alright, I will train you how to use magic. But on condition"
"What's that?" arya asked with a racing heart.
"First, I'll just train you in basic magic. Second, I will train you once you can catch Uil" replied Eudart as he raised both fingers.
"Jude?" reset Arya.
Then quickly a brown shadow perched in Eudart's hand, the Three-Tailed Owl looked at Arya with brown eyes. It seemed like his eyes would be blue when Eudart borrowed his vision, he shrieked softly while watching Arya closely. Arya had feared that Eudart was asking for heavy conditions such as the location of Elemental City and so on, but if the conditions were only this he was sure he could fulfill it.
"All right, I'll do it" cried Arya as she removed her gear.
-----------------------------<<>>-----------------------------
But the fact that catching an owl is not as easy as Arya thought, it has very good speed and reflexes. And in the end Arya had to spend three days to be able to catch it, by taking advantage of the opportunity when the bird was off guard while eating his prey.
During the three days that Arya continued to disappear from dawn to evening, of course this raises questions from Eridan and also Rena. But they never had time to ask, because Arya always slept faster than the two of them and disappeared just as quickly in the morning. Visiting the Hellig Tree has become the routine of Aryans today.
The first day Arya asks Ivy again to escort her to the place, but the next day Arya tries to find the place alone. This resulted in him getting lost and circling in the middle of the forest without a destination, he felt that everything in the forest was always changing position when he turned his face even if only for a moment.
Finally Ivy explained that the valley was filled with an ancient magic formation that made foreigners could not find it easily. But, surprisingly the next day Arya was able to find the valley without anyone's help, seeing this Ivy said that it seemed like the Hellig Tree had already received the presence of Arya.
Eudart had also started training him, he had promised to teach Arya basic magic. From Eudart Arya's explanation of finally knowing the difference in the magic use system of Elves and Witch, Eudart explained that Elf magic does not use Agnet of yourself like Wicth magic. The magic that Elves use is more complex, as Elves absorb Agnet from nature to use magic.
He also explained that Elementalists are unique in that they have two distinct Agnet streams, unlike other races that have only one Agnet stream. In other words Elementalist had a special body that could channel Agnets in different ways, one stream was used to channel Agnet into elemental power. And one more stream to unleash the power of Agnet.
Then Eudart gave Arya four pieces of parchment containing basic magic, Arya frowned after seeing the contents of the parchment and asked "How do I read this?"
"You can't read runes?" ask Eudart relax.
Arya shook her head quickly, she had never seen such a letter in her entire life until this point.
"Then learn how to read it first" asked Eudart.
Irritatedly Arya immediately asked Eridan to teach her how to read the runes the next day, Eridan was a little surprised to see Arya who was suddenly attracted towards the runes. Although surprised. He happily taught Arya to read, basically Eridan did like things that smelled like that.
Arya also took three days to learn to read runes, and that meant she had already spent almost a week and she had not gained the slightest progress in using magic. After mastering how to read the runes back into the valley and starting to open the parchment given by Eudart, each parchment contained one kind of basic magic.
Each of those magic were Protection, Reinforcement, Comers and Absorption. The application of these magic-magic is not as complicated as Arya thought, but still it is not as easy as turning the palm of the hand. He must learn how to absorb Agnet from nature first before he can practice the magic.
He also began to meditate while sitting cross-legged, he closed his mouth and tried to empty his mind. From the parchment he read, Arya knew that the Agnet of nature could be sensed by the Elf body and could be utilized as an additional force while fighting, just as he was starting his meditation suddenly his shoulder was hit hard.
"Aww...what the fuck is this?" arya asked annoyedly while looking over.
Eudart stood there holding a wood along the sword he used to wield, looking innocent in the slightest "Excreate your mind" he ordered.
"I'm trying" Arya sighed as she closed her eyes again.
Not five seconds later he closed his eyes, again the wooden branch hit his shoulder. Keep it that way, be it a full day he was beaten using a wooden branch by Eudart. Fortunately receiving all the punches turned out to be fruitful, the next day Arya could already feel a white energy hovering around her as she closed her eyes.
Arya continued to meditate for some time, she herself did not know how many hours she had used to meditate until her body ached. Then he stretched his body while opening his eyes, how surprised he was when he saw a green eyeball staring back at him as he opened his eyes.
"Ahh...I'm sorry, did we interrupt your training?"
Arya did not immediately reply, she did not know what to say. In front of him stood a woman with a greenish body, her body like it was formed from leaves and her hair was made from plant tendrils. While his feet were roots that stuck to the ground, he smiled warmly at Arya. Suddenly a male Pixie appears in the corner of Arya's vision.
"Well he's really an Elementalist"
"I told you, didn't I?" exclaiming Ivy while appearing on the other side of Arya's head.
Arya still did not speak, her eyes were still fixed on the body of the green woman before her. It happened until at last Ivy's words awakened him.
"Until when will you notice Leafa's body like that? Are you so interested in the Druid's body" whispered Ivy in Arya's ear in an amused tone.
"B.bu.not like that, I was just surprised. I'm sorry" Arya said quickly as she lowered her head at Leafa.
Leafa just tilted his head with a face that looked puzzled, without Arya noticing as he meditated to gather Agnet from nature. The Pixie, the Druid, and the tree of life gathered around him. They all seemed to be attracted to him, even the trees of life were swaying as if asking what creatures were in front of them.
Then a few moments after Arya had a conversation with all of them, Eudart approached and casually told Arya to bring Rena to this place. Of course Arya could not help but ask why Eudart wanted her to bring Rena to this place, but she did not answer and just walked back to meditate under the giant tree.
-----------------------------<<>>-----------------------------
The next night Arya tells Rena about it, at first Rena is very enthusiastic when Arya tells her that she has found the Hellig Tree, which is the Hellig Tree, but his spirit soon degenerated after finding out that they were not allowed to take the branches of the tree. They both agreed to leave the next day.
"Mmmm....Aryans? You sure this is the way?" rena asked doubtfully after Arya turned her towards the shady trees.
Arya only responded to Rena's question by whistling slowly, she could be said to have memorized the path to the place. A few minutes later they arrived and Rena's expression was not much different from Arya's expression when she first came to the place, admiration when clearly drawn on her face.
When they arrived, they were immediately greeted by the Pixies, Druids, and the tree of life. They immediately surrounded Rena enthusiastically, and without Arya guessing. It turns out that Rena can quickly feel comfortable and familiar with everything. This makes Arya feel isolated, which makes her more upset is Eudart's attitude which is very much different when meeting with Rena.
He bowed respectfully and spoke meekly to Rena, seeing that Arya could only snort and move away. He immediately sat in a meditative position as usual, but then he saw the brown owl looking at him with a look of disdain. Aryapun immediately took the stone next to him and threw it.
The annoying owl quickly shook off one of its long tail feathers and caused the rock Arya threw to turn towards him, because he did not expect to receive a counterattack Arya was forced to willingly hit his head with a stone that he threw himself.
"You better be careful, Uil's magic ability is far above you" Eudart sneered.
"Whisper!"
