Chapter 50 - The Girl Sucks

After Lexa's screams begin to sound, Arya hastily searches for the girl's whereabouts. He darted with a very high level of concentration to avoid all the traps and obstacles that existed.

His eyes looked back and forth to track where Lexa was, in fact most of the traps he passed were already open. Maybe because it has been passed by the girl first, this makes it easier for Arya to increase the speed of search.

"The structure of this place is very similar to that of Rei's Dungeon" Arya said softly.

Finally he caught the direction Lexa's voice was coming from, he turned the corner at the end of the hallway and found a large box-shaped hole in the ground. At the bottom of the hole is seen a cube of stone as a mature human. Lexa's hysterical cry sounded from inside.

"Lexa?! The lexa?! You okay?"

The girl still continued to cry hysterically, as if Arya's voice could not reach her. Feeling that her efforts were not paying off, Arya tried once again. He took a deep breath and called out to Lexa with all his might.

This time it worked, it seemed like Lexa heard Arya's voice so her screams stopped being replaced by the hiccups of the person holding back the cries.

"You hear me? How are you doing?" arya asked this time in a soft voice.

Lexa did not immediately reply, from her point of view. Arya felt Lexa was like a person who was very scared of something.

"Aru...please...please help me.." she groaned quietly a moment later.

"Sure, I'll pick you up in 5 minutes. Jad please, hang in there"

Arya started to close her eyes, a blue aura emanating from within her body. That cold air slowly but surely spread throughout the entire corner of the Earth Temple, he could feel his entire senses sharpening.

"Maximum Sense" he whispered as he opened his eyes.

The whole picture of the place went into his head as if the movie was playing out very quickly, this technique he was doing was still new. Taking advantage of the widespread cold air, Arya analyzed the surroundings.

"Can" cried Arya and immediately moved.

He had faith that there was another way to the cube where Lexa was locked up, Arya could have jumped straight into the hole. But it is too risky he thought, it could be a layered trap that will make him trapped.

After finding the stairs to go to the lower tunnel, Arya finally arrived before the stone cube. He had already turned off all the traps that were in the lower tunnel of the Earth Temple with his ice power, he then tapped on the cube to tell Lexa his position.

"Lexa I've arrived, try to get away from this side" he ordered.

Arya pulled Mandalika out of her scabbard and then took a position ready to slash, she strengthened her footstool while whispering softly.

"Can you do it? The mandalika?"

"I am a sword that serves its Master, I will cut whatever you want even if it is the hardest thing in the world. But, I won't be able to cut even a piece of paper if you don't want it. It all depends on you"

"It's good, then let's cut this cube without hurting Lexa"

With a single swing, the side of the cube was neatly split into two halves. Arya then pulls one of them so that it can be a way out for Lexa. When the inner cube began to be seen, it turned out that Lexa was sitting while closing her eyes and both ears were as strong as possible.

Arya called out to him in a soft voice, hearing that she opened her eyes slowly. Tears began to pour out from the corner of both eyes. Unexpectedly Lexa then immediately stood up from her sitting position and lunged towards Arya.

Arya who was not prepared at all with the lunge instantly fell down, Lexa hugged her body tightly while burrowing her face into Aryan's clothes.

"ARYA....! ARYAN....! ARYAN....!" his sobs.

"Hey hey hey, what's up?" arya asked confusedly.

Actually Arya has a secret that is not known to many people, she can not bear to hear the sound of crying women. If it happens, then he will feel anxious and dizzy as it is today.

This weakness was also often exploited by Reika, but she only kept this as the last weapon she named Sister Tears. Because Reika knows, if she gets to issue this technique Arya will not refuse any request.

"ARYA....! I'M SCARED.., I'M SO SCARED...." Lexa continued with a body trembling violently.

Arya then tries to calm the girl while continuing to stroke her head, she actually does not know what happened to Lexa. But he was convinced that the girl was really scared, because it was the first time Lexa called her name.

"Umm" said Lexa while nodding with a position that is still in Arya's place.

Arya shook her head, she could not believe that this girl who was curled up in her arms had a combination of Nyctophobia and Claustrophobia. Arya's point is.. This girl is Lexa! That lexa! It can't be, can it?.

While Arya was still in a daze at the reality she had just received, Lexa interrupted quietly.

"I...really a pathetic person, right?"

"Mmm....? Because you have a phobia? I think it's bia—"

"NO! Not because of that!" lexa snapped with a body that began to tremble violently again.

Arya then said nothing, she just stared at Lexa in silence. To let Lexa continue.

"I know, I'm just a stupid, shitty girl....,

Lexa then took out all her heart in front of Arya, she told how when she was a child she was often humiliated and shunned by her friends because it sucks. The resentment is growing because Lexa always outperforms them in all aspects even if she herself does not try hard.

Arya flicked Lexa's head before she finished her words, the girl grimaced softly while looking at Arya annoyed with watery eyes.

"You're this...Are you a fool?" Arya asked with empty eyes.

"THAT'S NOT WHAT I MEAN YOU'RE SLOW!" Arya snapped back to make Lexa jump in shock.

Arya then added with a serious face, "You should be able to tell which person is sincere to you and who is not, Lexa grew up. Do we look like those people in your eyes?"

With a sullen face Lexa shook her head, she understood what Arya meant. The other Elementalists did not look like people who had stayed away from him as a child. Arya breathed while standing up.

"If you're still worried about being left behind by the others like this. Even if this world and all of its contents reject your existence remember, I will always be here"

Arya smiled warmly as she stroked her head, it was the first time Lexa had felt such a thing. Somehow his face felt hot and he could not look up to return Arya's gaze.

He touched his chest that felt tight, his heart pounding faster. He wondered in his heart what was going on with him? Is he going to die?

"B.be...really that?" whispered Lexa still with her head down.

"Huum of course! Aren't we friends?"

KRAKK!

Lexa's face turned dark, she stood up and asked again.

"Can you repeat?"

"Are we not friends?"

"That's right! We are friends, by the way Arya. Can you lock your stomach?" lexa asked with a sweet smile.

"Sure, why?"

"Nothing, just do it"

"Mmm...as in—"

BUKK!

Lexa blows a hard blow towards Arya's stomach until it bounces away.

"Huh..puasnya..now I began to understand" said Lexa happy.

"Ohuk....UNDERSTAND?! UNDERSTAND WHAT?! AND WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!" arya replied with a choked voice while holding her stomach.

"I understand why Una, Ena, and Eli are so upset with you for no apparent reason. Also why Rose asked you to stroke her head"

"HUH?! What does this have to do with them berem—"

"Easy, come! We need to find out where the creature is, Elemental Beast I'm coming.." cut off Lexa while dragging Arya who is still sprawled.

"Hey wait a minute....! Lexa....!!!"

Arya and Lexa then arrive at a very large hall, the ceiling of which may be as high as nearly 20 meters. In the middle of the hall floor there is a symbol of earth elements that are neatly engraved.

"But...Where is the creature?" timpal Lexa with a view that wanders everywhere.

"Maybe he's hiding, but Lexa. I have something to ask you"

"Hmm?"

"If you do have a phobia, why would there be no reaction at all from you when we passed the Mole Pathway?" arya asked while raising her next to her eyebrows.

"Eh....? Isn't that obvious? Arya..your mind is very slow.." Lexa replied while shaking her head in wonder.

"Huh?! You said ap—"

"Of course because you and Tin were near me, the phobia only appeared when I was alone. Stupid you"

"What?! Did this stupid girl just call me with a stupid call?!" arya said in her heart.

Suddenly Lexa's body emitted a tanned light, her eyes also lit up brightly. The beam then disappeared as quickly as it appeared, Lexa's eyes turned serious.

"I found her, Arya please take care of my body for a while. I will immediately make a contract with the Elemental Beast" Lexa said then threw her luggage at Arya.

"Woi?! Don't throw it like that! And stop using words that can make others misunderstand!?" aryan protest growled.

"What did I say?" timpal Lexa plain.

"Forget it, I regret talking to you" Arya replied tiredly.

Lexa then took a sitting position in the middle of the hall, moments after that the brown light reappeared. Arya leaned against the wall of the hall while being on standby, contract manufacturing was indeed always a very vulnerable situation.

"It's going to be a long and exhausting process" he said slowly.

About 1 hour later Lexa opened her eyes and immediately stood up, unexpectedly a chain of empty air ensnared her right hand. Lexa's hands and chains stiffened as if pulling on each other.

The other end of the chain is invisible because it is inside a portal that divides the air. Lexa's body began to be dragged toward that tanned dimensional hole.

"Need help?" arya asked from the hall wall.

"Nothing, I still can" Lexa replied with a bully tooth.

He then made his feet shrouded by the surrounding ground and instantly pulled the chain with all his might, a huge explosion sounded as something made it out of the portal. The hall was filled with dust everywhere.

Without waiting any longer Arya immediately followed to the middle of the hall, there Lexa with a beaming smile was waiting for her while hugging an animal in her lap.

"Arya I made it!" fun.

"It right? Don't tell me that it turned out to be this creature that you've mentioned as a hamster until now" Arya said, looking at the creature in Lexa's lap.

"Mmm..yeah! She's cute, isn't she?"

"This stupid fucking rat! Hamster from where, huh?!" arya was upset.

The creature was a brown mole rat with stone fragments on its skin. Arya was instantly able to recognize the beast as a mole due to his long fingernails.

"It's different, isn't it? Aren't they both small, fluffy creatures?"

"Oh, I'm lazy to argue with you. Any hamster has such dirty nails. Then...what's his name?"

"Rake, isn't that a good name?" lexa replied happily.

"More like the name of a yard cleaning tool for me" whispered Arya a little insinuating.

Rake looked at Arya unhappily, as if understanding that this child was looking down on her.

"What?! You got a problem huh?" cibir Arya slowly.

"He said you were a bitch" Lexa said, giggling.

"Based on rats do not know themselves, owners and pets are the same. Let's go, I have a bad experience lingering in a place like this" Arya recalled the incident in Rei's Dungeon.

As Arya was preparing to turn on the teleportation device, her eyes suddenly caught the figure of a white furry beast at the entrance of the hall. The creature started running towards him.

"Come?" arya was confused.

"What's wrong?" ask Lexa.

"Lexa did you see that fox?"

"Cloak? What fox?"

"remove! He's headed our way!" yell Aryan.

But it was too late, the beast lunged at the two of them and surprisingly their teleportation device was active then sent the two away somewhere.

While the Underground Paradise was in tension, Vermaand and his advisers moved quickly towards the entrance of the city. Arriving there Ruck bowed respectfully to the King while saying.

"I'm sorry I asked you to come, Your Majesty"

"It's okay, this is something I have to take care of myself" Vermaand replied firmly.

Outside the gate was already waiting casually for the 11 black-robed figures. They all have animal body parts attached to their bodies. A black-haired man with red at the end stood at the very front.

The man had a dragon-shaped tattoo that wrapped around his left hand as well as a gallant horn adorning his head.

"Your Majesty" he said slowly.

"What's the reason you came here Garyu?" reply Vermaand without pleasantries.

"I came here to conduct transactions as usual Your Majesty, but your gatekeeper did not allow me to enter. If you don't show up sooner maybe I've broken into your gates" Garyu replied with a smile.

"I don't mind you guys buying weapons from us, but....must you come with ten other Shios?"

"Actually..itu—"

"We asked them to come" the female voice cut.

Bunny and Gokong showed their figures while standing next to Garyu. Vermaand looked at them with narrowed eyes.

"I was indeed expecting it after seeing your abilities at the Duo Battle Festival"

"Then it will be easier, we want to see the two children again" Bunny said excitedly.

Vermaand was silent for a moment, and then told him that the two children were not there. Instantly, the air was heavy, and Bunny's expression turned ugly.

"Don't lie to me!" snapped it.

Garyu immediately raised his hand to stop the girl, he looked at Bunny with a cynical look.

"Bunny, we're here for the transaction. Keep your attitude"

"Cih" replied Bunny annoyed and then swung a kick that made the ground there split.

"I'm sorry for this irreverence Your Majesty" Garyu apologized while looking down.

"Huh...you guys are so stubborn, by the way where is Nezumi?" vermaand asked as he looked at the people behind Garyu.

"Elder Nezumi is not coming with us, because he is training new members"

"Then you can forget about this transaction, I'll only talk to you if the old man is here"

"For the size of a dwarf you are quite haughty ya—" chirped Gokong with a toya that has led to Vermaand.

"Ass! Call the Elder immediately, tell him what happened" Garyu ordered.

Grunts grunted and then immediately executed the order, Garyu apologized once more to Vermaand. The Dwarven King was just grumbling as he walked back towards the Underground Paradise. When Vermaand was no longer visible Garyu interrupted slowly.

"Aaahhh.my body is already itching to burn the arrogant midget creature"
